What a terrible experience. Ordered a loyalty birthday giant sub today with points. They got the order wrong so we had to drive back to the store to have them remake it. I made it clear we'd like to keep the original sub for having to spend our time and gas to come back for their accident. He originally offered us two subs to rectify the situation. Then when we said we would like to have the sub remade vs a "practice sub" they had in the fridge, they got to work, we were happy. We took the wrong sub back to the table with us while we waited. Once he made the new sub he told us we had to return the messed up sub for the new one. I said oh I thought we got to keep it? Since he purposely put it in a new bag for us and handed it back. He didn't respond. So not only did we have to come back using our resources and wait an additional 15 minutes for it to be made we didn't get the keep the original sub. My husband and I have our go to number 7 and 56. We have purchased them all over the country as we are full timers. We winter just down the street from the Broadway location so this has been our go to store. This year when we came back we found that the store had gone downhill and todays order was the last straw. My #7 was ordered with lite oil and vinegar. But the guy made mine first and loaded the oil on and then let my sandwich sit. He then cleaned the grill for about 10 minutes before starting the other #56's that were waiting my husbands being the third one. By the time I got to eat my #7 the bread was mush. The #56 was stuck to the paper so if you like paper with your sandwich your good. Because this store used to be so good we are really worried that the management has lost their touch at this store. This location is terrible and has the absolute worst customer service. Both employees were wearing filthy aprons. I came in with my service animal and was quickly told that animals are not allowed. I stated she is a service animal and offered to show her identification as well as mine as the handler. They said no animals. I informed them it is a federal protection and that they cannot legally bar a service animal. We were placing a to go order. Then the rude woman who identified herself as the manager came out and said no animals....I explained the same thing. There are zero signs stating this policy and Google says the company is dog friendly. Manager refused three separate requests to give me her name. Super rude people read more

During my last visit my coupon for a 'buy one regular sub, get one regular sub free' was refused. The coupon was clearly marked "valid at all metro Phoenix locations". This location has even accepted similar coupons in my previous visits. The staff's response was simply "No we don't accept coupons. We never have." My attempt to get an explanation was simply, "No, no, no. That's final!" It was a little frustrating to be stuck with paying more than expected and being shut down by the staff when asking for an explanation. Topping/ condiment: lettuce, tomato, onion, vinegar, seasoning - well balanced - good. Deli meat: pathetically lacking. About a 3rd of what should be on the sandwich. Overall: The quantity balance of the sandwich was extremely off, having almost a non existent amount of deli meat, I could barely taste it. This sandwich is worth $4.50 in its current condition. $8.59 is an absolute rip-off. If there had been more meat & cheese on the sandwich - the quality would have actually been good. Overall rating: 4.1 of 10 Quality comparison: equivalent to subway - at best. Will I return?
