Went to check out Goldman's in search of a sandwich for lunch and it did not disappoint. Was able to share a Brisket sandwich with my brother (very generous portion sizes), and it was delicious! Super friendly lady at the counter who took the time to make sure there were no nuts in the Hamentashen (which were also delicious)!

I've been to quit a few deli's here in Arizona and this was one on my list to try because a friend of ours had brought us Chocolate and Cinnamon Rugelach from here and they were so good. I had the opportunity to go with a friend of mine for breakfast. Visually, the deli was not what I expected, small, a little dingy looking. The display case was visual unappealing (whats with all the hot dogs). The young lady that worked the cash register and took your order was very nice and friendly. I ordered the Spinach and Feta Cheese Omelet which came with choice of home fries or hash browns and choice of bread. My friend had a Ham and Cheese Omelet Special. When our food came out, it looked amazing. My Spinach Feta Omelet was one of the best omelets I've ever had. I can't vouch for anything else, only my omelet LOL. Atmosphere: needs updating. Food: omelets were delish. Service: very good.

No frills local Jewish deli that reminds me of the ones back on the East Coast. It gets busy around lunch time so expect to wait and they're a bit old school so it takes some time to write orders and hand out the food to everyone sitting. I got a smoked turkey and Swiss sandwich and it was pretty good! A lot of meat, bread was soft, only one slice of cheese which was dissapointing, but it tasted as you would think, nothing life changing. It came with a side (I chose potato salad) and a pickle. The potato salad is really good. Perfect amount of mustard and mayo. Pickle was good a little soggy. The reason I am docking a point is just due to the pricing. The one sandwich with the pickle and potato salad it came with was $19 plus tax and tip. While it was good, I can't imagine I'll go back to spend $20+ on a single sandwich when you can go get the same thing, same quality, for less elsewhere. A lot of people were trying their pastrami so maybe that's life changing but this wasn't, it was good, not life changing. Nontheless, they're a family owned establishment and I like to try to support local when I can. I hope they continue to succeed! Maybe I'll come back and try a bagel and lox or something that they specialize in :)

I enjoy coming to this deli, which is reminisce of New York or Chicago style deli. I arrived just after they opened on a Tuesday. I came to get some meat by the pound, lox and soup. Unfortunately, the soup wasn't available at this time, which is a bummer because I was hoping that quite honestly everything on the menu would be available. who doesn't want soup in the morning? Everything was neatly wrapped. Service is always very friendly. Very casual dining area. Plenty of parking out front. Unfortunately, I can't show you the corned beef and pastrami because they are tightly wrapped for travel. I've had it in the past and it's always sliced and package very nicely

Very friendly & helpful staff. I had a corned beef sandwich and cup of mushroom barley soup. Both were great.

Great spot! Very authentic, good options. We got the turkey club, Chicago dog, and chicken salad. Really like the vibe inside, priced reasonably and easy to get to. Friendly staff. We will definitely be back to try more options

It was too expensive. The Ruben's meat was overcooked. I just wasn't good. There's better options and actually a better price..

The Food is no joke, everything is made to perfection. On this trip, we had Calamari, Salad w/ Italian dressing, roast beef sandwich, and Fettuccini alfredo with spicy sausage. The Calamari was very tender, not overcooked and rubbery, the salad was crisp and the dressing out of this world, Charles our waiter talked my wife into the roast beef sandwich, which I cringed a bit because she knows her roast beef, they brought it out with a side of gravy to dip it in. This was amazing, they cook this roast for 18hrs so it is super tender, loaded with flavor, her only regret was she didnt ask for more peppers. The Fettuccini Alfredo was creamy smooth well balanced, and with the spicy sausage became my new must have. The deli counter will tempt you with all kinds of delights, meats, cheeses, olives, salads, we took a anti pasta plate home with us with some of their fresh baked bread...Forget about it! If you want an old time feel of family with the taste of true Italian food, then there is only one place to go...Guido's!

Guido's is an Italian-American story. I walked through the door over 30 years ago and I was "Home."…read more Just the fact that it's been open for over 40 years warrants five stars. That kind of longevity doesn't happen by accident. The owner has recently passed and the place feels different now. Call it the vibe, the spirit. Call it sad. Regardless.... My go-to is still the sausage & pepper sandwich. Un-toasted roll, spicy sausage, peppers...maybe sauce on the side, no cheese. That's the North Jersey way. Here's the thing, you can count on Guido's. It gives Phoenix and Scottsdale some credibility in the big city department.
