First time visiting this location. Overall cleanliness, customer service, food was all great. Only two things I found to be a negative was 1. Hash browns could have been cooked longer( possible just a personal preference) and 2. My water cup was dirty with lips stick Marks. Thats a simple and easily fixable mistake but staff should be aware of when washing. My incredible server MArio however replaced it immediately and took great care of me my whole visit. Very attentive and friendly. Really makes you feel welcomed. Restrooms were pleasantly clean as well! I would most definitely come back to this location again. I hate to leave a redundant review but 5 STARS for David. I've been at this location probably 6+ times due to business travel and convenience. I never knew who the kind, thoughtful, friendly, and courteous waiter was whenever he helped me until I saw his name tag this past weekend. My friends and I ALWAYS go to this Dennys and we absolutely love it. We love king David our server he is the nicest person ever. But, we won't be going anymore. The ONLY reason being they DISCONTINUED the VALUE MENU! it was our favorite and we loved it. If Dennys decides to bring it back we will go EVERYDAY. i've talked to other people about it and they agree. the best thing for Dennys to do right now is to get back that VALUE MENU. a lot of my college friends need the value menu because school is very expensive and the value menu is absolutely GOATED. we would really appreciate it. thanks read more

Bitter sweet experience. Long story short, it's my wife's birthday and we were looking on enjoying a grandslam and ordring a few appetizers. Fifty One minutes later (yes - 51 minutes) our grandslam entree was delivered to our table... minus the appetizers. So, what's the point of an appetizer when it goes after the meal? We do appreciate that David, our server, sent us off with extra seasonal fruit and that the grand slam entree came with a scoop of strawberry icecream. So we got to thinking how Denny's can make this experience better. And I can't really speak for Denny' in general. The Denny's in Brea was much quicker, busier, and well staffed. So to speak strictly about Denny's in Fullerton, doing these things will greatly improve their service: - Hire more people! Kill those wait lines and earn a profit to boot. David said that we are in some sort of queue and that mobile orders are in the queue as well but with more staff, that shouldn't be an issue anymore - Check up on your customers. We had to go to the servers and ask when the food will be ready. Basic customer service. You don't put your customer on hold on the phone for over 2 minutes and you shouldn't make your customer wait more than 10 to 20 minutes without giving them an update. - Give some sort of compensation. Granted David gave more seasonal fruit and the strawberry icecream was a nice gesture. I'd add half a star more but Yelp won't let me do that. So Denny's of Fullerton, if you are reading this, we are willing to give you another chance. If you can give us an entree on the house, we can audit the Fullerton Denny's and increase those stars if we see improvement! read more

Super disappointed with the service. I came in with my family of 4 to have dinner at night and when we got there, it was empty and slow. We walk in and they tell us to have a seat anywhere we'd like. Once we sit down, we are ignored for the next 15 minutes. No menus or greetings at our table. My wife has to get up and go ask the front desk for menus, and all they say is "sorry we didn't see you guys sit down". When we are ready to order, we are ignored for another 10 minutes and my wife has to get up again and ask if they can take our orders. Almost 30 minutes in and they hadn't even asked what drinks we would like. After they bring out our food and drinks, we aren't even offered straws or utensils and we once again have to ask for some. At the end of our meal we go up to pay at the counter and to top it all off the service breaks down at the register so we have to wait in order to get rung up. It was 4 AM and I was nodding at my table but was told immediately and rudely that I could not sleep there while there was someone sleeping there from I stepping into the store until I left one hour later, I failed to understand if they were acting this way to me because of my race. This Denny's is next to CSUF so there's always a bit of a wait. My bestie and I went for breakfast and waited about 10 mins. Not too bad. The waitress was very nice and helpful. We ordered off of the value menu so I got the $4 breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs, a sausage and a strip of bacon. It was yummy. My friend got the $6 biscuits and gravy with eggs and hash browns. Hers came with 2 drinks so she gave me the coffee and had some orange juice. Overall it was a good time at Denny's and the wait wasn't as bad as I've seen elsewhere. Plus the staff is cool because they're mostly young college students (like me and my friend). read more

We chose this restaurant because it was convenient to our hotel (Marriott). As I parked, I noticed it was next to a Hilton property too. The place was spotless and even as we sat down, I noticed a gentleman mopping the floor. We were seated immediately and from then on, we enjoyed 5-Star service from Juana G. Juana did not hover or rush, yet she was there for every little request (waters, hot sauce, extra butter, etc.). She also kept our coffees topped off. Amazing service to an excellent meal! Again Denny's is like the burger chains and can be redundant for reviewing. So this is mostly a reboot of the last Denny's I reviewed. Everyone knows about Denny's food -- it's pretty much a hit or miss. It's Denny's, so you know what to expect. I was meeting a client for a breakfast meeting. I believe I was most happy that the service was fast and friendly and they had hot bold coffee. The restaurant was clean, the server was friendly and attentive and the food came out quick and hot. I enjoyed it. I had the American Slam cheesy scrambled eggs, sourdough toast with extra bacon, no sausage... no likey Denny's sausage. My dealer just had eggs over easy and toast off the seniors menu. yawn this was a spacious Denny's too looks pretty new. A lot of my friends has informed me that Denny's has really stepped up with their menu. Well, I decided to try it out tonight and man, it was delicious. I got the Bacon Grilled Chicken sandwich and boy was it yummy! Definitely one of the best Chicken sandwich I've ever had. So as usual, after my meal, I need desserts. I had the cinnamon pancake hush puppies and the apple crumb pie a la mode. Both of them were equally delicious. It's a matter of fact, I think they are better than most of the big chain restaurants, but for less than one tenth of the price. Of course the superior customer service doesn't hurt. Our waitress Janet was super friendly and got my special orders (both my sandwich & desserts) perfectly made. The place was clean and the price is most certainly reasonable. Had to fix the review; been to too many Denny's lately. This one was actually far nicer than the other one we hit (see Denny's in Artesia). A reasonably quiet Monday morning as we prepared to trek from the hotel to Disneyland, and just after being informed by the nice Marriott people that the breakfast heavily implied on the booking notice was merely that (the notion of breafast was merely its availability, not that it is included with the price... sneaky). But not Denny's issue. We were seated promptly, the server was attentive, and the orders came out as we'd expected. In and out in a reasonalby short time and on the road to harrass a giant mouse. Straightforward classic American fare. It's nothing special, but at least it's open 24 hours a day and most of the staff here is pretty nice. I did have a weird encounter where one of the waitresses tried to swap out my food with someone else's after I had already bit into it because she realized she had mixed up our orders. Definitely alarming! Overall, the food is greasy, but reasonably priced and parking is plentiful. Come here on your birthday and get a free grand slam if you show your ID...wahoo! :) read more

Came in to order to go. Waited 30 mins and asked for an update and they told me they were preparing it. 50 mins go by and the manager asked for receipt and they start making right there and then. Wonderful blueberry pancakes that are fluffy, flavorful and are delicious without a need for syrup. I can eat them plain and they are AMAZING. Thus location in particular is our favorite family spot as everyone has a favorite dish. It's also a place that has been with us through all kinds of life events as a comfort to us. Kind of funny that a chain restaurant can hold that kind of place for a family but we have great memories. One year we went to this Denny's for Christmas Eve dinner because our oven failed us in our new house. Denny's was open and it was a lifesaver! After that year it became a family tradition. Lol It's also been with us throughout the Pandemic and provided ongoing special event dinners during this last year. Keep up the great service and excellent food. Thank you. read more

I woke up early and was there for breakfast at 3:30am. I was fine with their mellow Christmas music. Then the two drunk people decided to play their club music through their phone loud enough to hear at least halfway across the restaurant. Eventually I asked if they'd turn it off. They asked why. I said because they already had music playing in the restaurant. They ignored me. The waitress didn't do anything, so apparently at Denny's you can bring in your own music to play. They brought my food. I ate a single bite, then decided that I wasn't going to pay 20 dollars for this. I left, telling her I didn't want to listen to their music. Outside, the security guard started screaming at me as if I had just viciously attacked someone. He told me to pay. I sat down, but by then, after the way the security guard had treated me, I had lost my appetite. They allowed me to leave without paying (I still hadn't eaten anything more than a bite) and they said I was never allowed back there again. read more

Ordered through Grubhub. Had breakfast meal and a chicken entree. Chicken entree was great, but the breakfast was another story. I ordered chocolate chip pancakes, but the pancake itself taster like old Blueberry Pancake Batter. Very inedible. That being said, the sausages tasted funny.
