What is this crap? I ordered for delivery and this is what i got. Very bad, everything was salty and disgusting. Waste of my money and my time. Where is the manager here? read more

Denny's - What is this???? - American Near Me - Fullerton, California

David was our server - excellent service and food! David was attentive, polite, and professional. And this Denny's is open 24 hours!

Diane is amazing with such good customer service. I ordered for my family and there was an issue on a delivery service website and she went above and beyond. Made my day!!!!! read more

Ordered through Grubhub. Had breakfast meal and a chicken entree. Chicken entree was great, but the breakfast was another story. I ordered chocolate chip pancakes, but the pancake itself taster like old Blueberry Pancake Batter. Very inedible. That being said, the sausages tasted funny. Like if someone had sprayed cologne on it. Sucks because I normally love Denny's, but I was just severely disappointed this time read more

Great food and just a good place overall for a late night grab. Server David was so polite and helpful! Definitely going to make this a regular spot. read more

This place is terrible! The manager has given my takeout order to someone else. Who the fuck does that?! And then she keeps arguing with me about someone else picked it up! How the fuck is that possible when I am just walking in right now! The lease you can do is fucking apologize and compensate for my fucking time since I had to wait all over again for my food. What the fuck is the point of putting a take out order if I'm going to have to wait for it when I get to the restaurant. How idiotic! Honestly! It's one thing to make a mistake but she should have apologized and tried to offer me some kind of costumer service instead of being so insincere and un sympathetic. If you want to be treated like your the one that lost your order and deserve the attitude for it then please welcome yourself to this place. Ps: there were 3 other people who was in the same boat as me. I waited for another 30 min in the hot restaurant. Blows my mind away that there was no air circulating in that place. I felt so bad for the workers who were cooking in a hot box and mind you this place wasn't next to a beach. This is in Fullerton. It was 86 degrees outside. read more

Came here about 10:15am 1st sign of problems: doesn't even deserve a 1 star: 1. I was waiting to be seated and the hostess seated the just arrived and I told her I was here first. 2. I noticed they took care of the other families first from getting the drinks, ordering even though in the beginning I told them I was their first. 3. Took the waitress a really long time before coming to get us our drink and food order. 4. After ordering our food I told the waitress what we needed which is steak sauce, Tabasco, extra napkins, extra butter and she said as soon as our order comes out. 5. Our order came out and even asked for orange juice for my daughter took another 15mins for steak sauce, Tabasco and butter to come out. Almost at the end of our meal still no kid orange juice we asked again. She came back and said this on the house. 6. We were done we asked for 2 boxes, we already paid and everything still no to go boxes waited for 15 mins just to get it. Please have management read the reviews to do some changes. This is very unpleasant experience. read more

I woke up early and was there for breakfast at 3:30am. I was fine with their mellow Christmas music. Then the two drunk people decided to play their club music through their phone loud enough to hear at least halfway across the restaurant. Eventually I asked if they'd turn it off. They asked why. I said because they already had music playing in the restaurant. They ignored me. The waitress didn't do anything, so apparently at Denny's you can bring in your own music to play. They brought my food. I ate a single bite, then decided that I wasn't going to pay 20 dollars for this. I left, telling her I didn't want to listen to their music. Outside, the security guard started screaming at me as if I had just viciously attacked someone. He told me to pay. I sat down, but by then, after the way the security guard had treated me, I had lost my appetite. They allowed me to leave without paying (I still hadn't eaten anything more than a bite) and they said I was never allowed back there again. read more

Bar far the best service I've ever gotten at a dennys. My family and I cane for lunch and had marisol as out waitress and she was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and I can't forget to mention we're those kind of people that are picky and like our food a certain way. I ordered mozzarella sticks which were nice and hot and yummy . Next I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich which is not on the menu anymore but i substitute it with chicken tenders and it was still yummy. The restaurant was clean and service was fast . I love this location read more

The first time getting together with family since COVID19 "stay at home" order was lifted. We chose Denny's because they offer something for everyone! We called to confirm they were seating indoors and that they could accommodate our large party. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was attentive. They were following all safety measures and the food was great! Thank you to all for working and providing us with a much needed night out with family! Lots of laughs, yay!! read more

By far the best service I've ever had at a Denny's. All very friendly, Patricia was our server and she was awesome!

Love the staff and food is always fresh. Clean restrooms and staff is always friendly towards my kids. Keep up the good work guys

In first doing a review, Denny's is a diner type of atmosphere so the workers are over worked and underpaid. I have been in this location now twice, 2nd better than first. My first visit I went in on a Sunday around 10:30am, we went in and luckily did not have to wait long to be seated. We were sat, for menus and told our server would be with us. It took about 20 or so minutes for someone to notice and come. The serve we had ended up great but they were busy and knew folks were training. There new staff just followed each other like lost dogs, but overall after ordering food came in quick and we got refills along with being checked on. My second review was a Saturday night around 6pm. Not very crowded and we got sat right away. Our waitress was nice and did a good job at recommendations. Although she did not come back to check on us, so that was sad. I got the pancakes with cinnamon on top with white glaze. They were delicious! read more

Came here for a free breakfast for my daughter's birthday. They didn't honor it & said that we can come back the next day & get a free breakfast instead. I don't understand the difference between the day we went to coming back the next day to get a free breakfast. . . So I payed for her birthday meal, which is fine but I thought all Denny's honored their birthday reward, I even called ahead of time & asked to verify. We also waited awhile to be seated, the manager walked past us & didn't greet us. My daughter wanted to sit outside but we sat inside because there were spider webs from the chairs to the umbrellas on the tables outside. read more

Stacey was our server, she was so great! Very sweet, very attentive, and very fun to talk to. The service was quick, all around a great time! read more

Did I just give a Denny's 5 stars? I don't give anyone five stars? Looks like I did! Huh? Why would I do that? Strange... Not really that strange when the manager Sergio greeted me at the door with a huge amount of enthusiasm. Quickly got me to my seat in a place that was good for me, filled my drink order and got a server to me a lightning speed. The entire time, he did not stop smiling. The first server took my order with... my goodness... THE SAME ENERGY! The second server continued to check on me and even laughed at my dumb jokes. Oh... and they are DUMB! I asked Sergio to join me at my table for a moment. He did. Turns out that he has around a quarter century of experience in this company. He takes great pride and OWNERSHIP of his personal performance and that of the team he leads. He loves his customers. He has been a guest at restaurants like us (did you all know that they are people too??? JK)? He never liked when people treated him wrong, so he wants to be sure that it does not happen to his guests. Now... I think it is fairly easy to have a manager with good customer service, but it does not mean a thing unless that translates to the team that manager leads. Everyone I see at this location has the same energy. This team is great! Thank you to Sergio and his team! BEST DENNY'S EVER! read more

This happen to me this morning! I did a phone order to pick it up on my way to work. I get to work I'm preparing my breakfast to start to eat I notice the pancakes are soggy and I rip them open and it was still dripping batter! yuck NEVER AGAIN DENNYS! read more

Always great service when we come here. David along with various other servers always make sure we are well accommodated. I would recommend

This Dennys has the worst cook "rafa" Don't go here, guess he was mad that I went back inside to tell the manager if I was able to get more hash browns since the cook didn't even color all of the bottom less than 1/4 way filled it up. After the fact of the cook making me the hash browns in the same plate, when I got it back in return, there was a sausage missing.. read more

Great breakfast..problem is windows need to be constantly cleaned, yes I would return to this restaurant!

Ok place for the end of the night. The food is the same as when I was a child sipping on chocolate milk. People are nice and most friendly.

So my CSUF friend is very American. She eats American food all the time and doesn't usually like to try new things. She also loves breakfast food (i.e. Ihop and Denny's). With that being noted, on certain sad, sad days, I would have to come here for lunch with my friend, Anna Q. Being that I usually pick the lunch spot, I owe her that much. Some parking spaces, this Denny's is next to the 57 freeway. It's a restaurant but it's always, and I do mean always, dead and slow. The food is mediocre, you know the sausage links, scrambled eggs, pancakes, etc. The service is so slow. They usually only have 1-2 servers run the whole place, which isn't under-staffing because there's not much people, but it does take a while for the server to come back to your side of the booth. When you're done, you take it up to the manager who cashiers you. Often time, this is when you'll wait a good 15 minute because the manager is either not found or very slow in cashiering. I do give them the star for being open late, like all Denny's. Great pick for meeting up with your group for group projects the night before your presentations and term projects are due. read more

A very typical Denny's. The food is not that good and really bad for you. The coffee is ok. The breakfast's are ok. Wouldnt ever go for dinner or dinner food. The service was reasonable. The breakfast food was edible. Its a good place to meet with people late at night. Not quite as good as a Norm's. read more

After several visits, we have finally given up on this location. The first visit no one acknowledged us or seated us for several minutes, and the food took too long to come out when all we ordered were small plates off the $2/4/6/8 menu. Second visit, waiter NEVER refilled either my bf's coffee or my lemonade. I asked for a refill towards the end of the visit, he never came back. Had to ask some other waiter for the check. Asked him for water, never brought it. Fourth and final visit recently, manager at the front told us to just pick any open seats. No one ever came to hand us menus. We sat for 14 minutes and watched them seat another couple that came in after us and gave them menus/took their drink orders. They didn't even come to clean off the food that was still on our table from the last guests. After about 15 min of no one ever coming to give us menus or take our orders, we got up and walked out. Manager just grinned at us on the way out, as if she would care, they have enough partied out college kids to give them business in that area. This place also constantly smells like a dirty mop, sticky residue everywhere, unclean. The week after, we went to MCDONALD'S and they brought our food out to our table and were more fast and friendly than this sh*thole. Take your business elsewhere. read more

The orangethrope location was closed for remodeling. I came here on my birthday freebies tour this month. If you've read my previous reviews than you know I do this every year. January is my month baby. I had a great server, quick service, excellent food. I mean it was excellent. Great pancakes and eggs were perfectly cooked over easy. Sausage and bacon are kind of hard to screw up. Coffee was good. Thanks! read more

I can't believe their hosts here. I have been waiting 15 mins for a round table to fit 5 people, so they said have a seat until the family at it leave in 10 mins. No problem, we wait... NO ONE communicates here and the other waitress didn't see us sitting in the waiting area.. approx 15 ft away from them... like really? WTF. I told the hostess.. umm we were waiting for that table... what the hell? All she said was like oh, did you leave? No you incompetent human being.. we sat where you told us to as we wait. Ugggghhhhh can you tell I'm hungry?!! read more

My girl Danielle B. and I are like two old ladies. We like to go to Denny's and get breakfast for dinner. This is our favorite location out her way. I've been here three times and the service is always quite good, food is fine, etc etc etc. So it gets 5 stars for a Denny's. People talk smack on Denny's all the time, but really, what are your options after 10pm out in this area besides like Del Taco or some random greasy burger/Mexican food joint? It's good late night grub. I highly recommend the pancake puppies. We even had the $2 pancake puppy SUNDAE and that was pretty darn indulgent. Fried pancakes and ice cream. read more

Previous Dine in- Terrible!!! chef, wait staff, and guy manager doesn't know the difference between vegetables! steak was spoiled, you can smell the odor, and sides came out wrong twice! food came out in parts for a table of 2 in an empty room with only three other tables! Chalk it up! Ok.... Lets Call Take Out Manager Josephine is too incompetent to take phone orders. Asked us if we can just come dine in instead?!?!? Wtf is that shit!!!! If I wanted to dine in for you to f*** up my order I would have!! After constantly repeating an order of 3 items!, Nachos. Sampler. And 6 piece of pancake puppies, this bitch has the nerve to ask you want 6 orders of pancake puppies???!!? But wait it gets even better. Got there to pick up, She then put in our order!!!! UNACCEPTABLE DENNY'S!!!! Who do I need to write!?!?!? read more

This is probably the 2nd best denny's simply because it's conveniently close to where I live. - They have outlets a few outlets. Some are on the ceiling and there is one on the wall, but usually someone has that spot. - I prefer the table with the outlet next to the bathroom. It's quieter and closer to the waiters so service is expedient. - I dislike that they do not have wi-fi. - Don't come here thurs-sat nights if you plan to study. Gets hectic as you can imagine since it's close to CSUF. - The waiter gets mad if you order one hot chocolate and share with someone. lol - Cooks have a difficult time making an over-medium egg! haha - Sausages are sometimes undercook for my liking. I like mine dark brown :) read more

Let's be honest: Nobody goes to Denny's for the food. Denny's is the midnight weigh station for drunken college kids with the munchies, hungry clubbers after last call, and truckers during a stop on a cross-country haul. So I'm not even going to review the food as you know you're going to get what you expect: greasy, unhealthy American food that tastes OK to sober people and delicious to the non-sober folks. But I had to review this Denny's in particular because the service has been bad on virtually every occasion I've been there. That's not to say the employees weren't pleasant, but they are incompetent. Customer service needs some serious improving at this particular location. The last time I was there, the hostess told us to sit where we pleased, so we did...and nobody came to take our order after we waited for almost 10 minutes! Every time we tried to get a server's attention, they either looked right passed us or were too busy chatting in the kitchen. We ended up just walking out...and nobody noticed. During other visits, it took them either forever to take our order, they would forget something we asked, or we would have to wait extraordinarily long before we'd get our food. Have not returned in a year and will not return ever again. By the way, there's a Denny's up the freeway, at Imperial Highway and the 57, that has superior service three fold. read more

I don't know if these places are independently owned, since it is a franchise, but my latest visit was not good. I noticed a different man who seemed to be in charge, and he was annoying. Fist off, we were told that they were setting up a table for our party of 5 by one of the servers. There were people who were sitting in the little waiting area when we arrived, so you figured that they had been helped already, but these people hadn't. They just sat there until someone approached them. The man who seemed in charge finally approached these other people and came to us say that they needed to be helped first. I said that was fine, and that I was told that they were also getting a table ready for us, but he couldn't understand this at all. He had to tell me three times that they had to be helped first even though these other people were heading toward a booth while they were getting a table for us. Later when I found a big hair in my french toast, I called over for help, and this same gentleman came over. I show him the hair, and he said, "Should I get you another one?" Really? That's so annoying that it had to be said. The speed of service was very slow. But when he took the french toast, he came back with it pretty quickly. Unfortunately, my french toast wasn't fully cooked. There are two more Denny's about a mile away. I'll probably visit the other ones next time. read more

Only 1 server, food was a joke, place is packed now that we're leaving and the server only came by to drop off our food. Horrible. I understand being busy but the other people working aren't helping the server. There was also hair in my food, pointed it out and the server didn't offer to get me another plate. read more

Denny's - No meat or cheese on my nachos - American Near Me - Fullerton, California

Service is friendly and helpful. I usually order the breakfast entrees here, but the $1/$3/$5 snacks make for a tasty filler after a late night adventure or study session! Not sure if they still have those, though. Everything here is decent and average across the board. read more

It's Denny's, the last resort for food after a late night out of drunken debauchery. You'll be hard pressed to find anything on the menu that isn't grease soaked, but in your drunken state, the healthy food choice isn't your priority. I would pass on the sizzling skillets, which are way small and, well, greasy as hell. I'd just go with the Steak & Eggs, because even if it's crappy, it's still the best thing on he menu. Weekend Bonus: Come here right after the bars close at DT Fullerton and you might even get to see people fight, sometimes in the restaurant! Dinner AND a show? Spectacular! read more

Ridiculous wait, waiter forgot to check her tables multiple times! Took too long to take our order, get our food, get our condiments, and get water! Raquel needs more training on time management and how to serve multiple tables or give her less tables. read more

This place was awful. The waiter brought us a glass of apple juice and it had lipstick on it. Such an old disgusting place that smells. Also they did not have Cherry Coke or any kind of mix of sodas like the Santa Ana location off the 55 Freeway. Finally the waiter was awful and had no personality. He seemed scared and probably should smile once in a while. Never going back to this location. I feel sick after eating there. read more

Ordered something to go last night as I was staying at the hotel next door. Not only did it take them 45 minutes to make two items, they forgot to put cheese on the eggs and didn't give me my milkshake! I called them and asked if I could get a refund this morning, they said sure no problem I'll make sure the opening manager knows. Went in this morning and the manager on duty said there were no notes, she couldn't give me a refund. To maybe call back tonight and see if they remember. Lovely service. read more
