What do you say about salt and pepper it's one of those diamonds in the rough as far as restaurants go when you're not a fan of chain restaurants this is where you come Good vibes in the air the staff is all wonderful the food is always good and well priced I love it it's the perfect mix of a sports bar and a regular restaurant anyways we went in there on Christmas Eve like we always do and enjoy Christmas dinner and had good times not to say we go there all through the year but Christmas dinner and Thanksgiving are always pleasant to be there

Salt and Pepper has been a staple diner in Fullerton for decades! It's taken on several changes over the years. Half of the place is a diner while the other half is a sports bar. Somehow, they manage to pull it off. You can opt for either side you like and both have comfortable booths and tables to accommodate you. This time we opted to sit at the bar on the sports side where you're surrounded by many TVs and a lot of friendly people. Adrian was our bartender/food server. He was super nice and efficient. They have a large selection of beers and a full bar for cocktails. Now let's talk about the food. They have fabulous pizza which they make right behind the bar area where you can watch as they smash the dough, top it with all of the ingredients and put it in the oven. They also offer every breakfast item you can imagine all day long. In addition to that, there are salads, sandwiches, burgers, and homestyle comfort food. The menu is absolutely a fit for anyone. Today I opted for the beef dip while my friend had the patty melt. We decided to trade half for half and both were delicious. We will keep coming back. It's definitely a great casual go to.

First time trying this spot. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Food was okay, at least my California club, bread was too hard. I loved the zucchini fries very delicious.

Biscuits were my favorite part of the meal. Everything is really bland. Definitely put some salt and pepper on that bad boy. Hash browns were decent. Eggs were kind of oily. Chicken fried steak was just okay. My friend asked for the ribs despite it being breakfast and was provided with them. He didn't like that the sauce was just poured on top and not actually cooked into them. He said the sausages weren't any good and were dried out because of the way the were cut in half. Service was friendly enough. Bathrooms were beautiful and didn't match the dated decor of the main dining area. The bar looked fun though.

Weekday 6 Item Special with side of avocado and never-ending coffee. So much delicious food!

This is a special coffee shop, diner and sports bar. We're always greeted by friendly hostess Maria. Andres makes sure we never run out of coffee, "Coffee, coffee, coffee?" Yuri is a fabulous server and on our first visit she made sure to tell us about the weekday deals. We love coming for breakfast and we especially enjoy the 6 item weekday special. You get a lot of food, enough to share and it's delicious. They have yummy home potatoes and Denver omelette too. The pico de gallo is good and hot. I think we are officially regulars now.

The Salt & Pepper was an interesting experience. I walked in around 8:00 p.m., and the place posted that it closed at 10 p.m. I sat down at the counter to make it easier for my server. The place was relatively quiet. They do have a sports bar if you're into that. After scanning the menu, I ordered their seafood plate. The menu stated that it came with a couple of pieces of breaded cod, breaded shrimp, popcorn shrimp, a shrimp skewer, some rice, a roll, and your choice of soup or salad. I opted for the salad. The salad was the best part of the meal. Lettuce, croutons, dressing. Pretty basic. The seafood platter was a disappointment. The breaded cod was pictured as a couple of succulent pieces of fish; what was on my plate were overcooked skinny fish sticks. The breading was tasteless, and the fish was dry. The breaded shrimp tasted like coconut shrimp, not my favorite, and not what I was expecting when it mentioned breading. There were some grilled small shrimp. I don't know if those were supposed to be popcorn or skewered shrimp. Either way, I did not get popcorn shrimp and/or skewered shrimp, but I did get a couple of small pieces of grilled shrimp. They were tasteless. The rice had hard bits of grains in it. The roll was mainly hard, with about a third of it soft enough to eat. I did not finish my plate and did not take the leftovers home. The service was good; they kept my soda filled, which was truly the only plus. I am not sure if this was a normal night or if they decided to unload the bad food on me. Either way, it was enough that I would not give them a second try. What is the saying? If you get bit by a dog, it's the dog's fault; if you get bit by the same dog again, it's your fault. The Salt & Pepper ranked low enough that I can't see it getting better. A second visit is a pass for me. One last note and a HUGE STRIKE for me. The posted hours on Google Maps said they closed at 10 PM. I stopped eating around 9 PM, and most of the place was dark when I walked out. I was the last person there, and I believe they closed up when I walked out. They had to because the cook left at 9. Either they closed early, or they listed their hours online incorrectly. Either way, that issue needs to be fixed. I HATE going somewhere with posted hours showing they are open, only to discover they are closed. With that said, always remember that your mileage may vary.

    Hotspot game sports bar

My spicy margarita is so good here Jose makes the best ones. I would definitely come by and try it.

The food choices were amazing, so many that it was hard to choose what to try first (gives us a reason to come back!). I got the enchiladas and they were delightful. I also tried their Apple Martini, that was delicious! They have a cute little sports bar area, which is where we sat. They have lots of tv's and different sports playing all around. I really loved the vibes and the service. It felt so homey, almost like a blast to the past. Our waitress was newer, I believe she said it was her second day. I totally forgot to catch her name, but a sweet little blonde lady. She was absolutely wonderful! Couldn't even tell it was only her second day. She was so kind and attentive to us. I will certainly be back. Thank you Keno's staff for the great dinner! Ps: the vegetable soup was soo tasty. I nearly asked for a bowl to go. 10/10 recommend trying out that soup when they have it in.

My husband and I had not been to Keno's in years. The last time we went was usually for breakfast…read more We went there a few weeks ago because it was the only place that was open after 10 PM and we just ate appetizers. They were very good, but I ended up not getting my food until well after the rest of our party got theirs as they forgot my order, even though there were only four of us. We decided to try it again for dinner because we noticed that they had specials. We both got the special for Wednesday, which was ribeye steak with salad, veg, baked potato, bread and dessert for $18. We were served the salad first which was meh, just iceberg and a little bit of purple cabbage and carrot slathered in dressing. Nothing special. My husband ate half of his, I ate most of mine. After a rather long wait, we finally received our meals, although there was hardly anybody in the restaurant, even the waitress said, let me go check on your meals, then shortly after they came out. The first thing we noticed was the so-called steamed vegetables which was the stalk of cauliflower, lots of stalks of broccoli and a few sliced carrots. The carrots were good. I didn't eat the rest. We took a bite of our steak and my husband, who loves steak, was the first one to say it was too salty. And then I took a couple of bites of mine and had the same reaction. If you remember going to Steak Corral over at Beach and Katella, been closed for years. They served "aged beef", which basically means it's soaked in brine to supposedly make it more tender. That's what this was like only worse. Inedible! I know there are many who love salt, but we don't. Anyway, we told the server and I asked if I could have something different. But my husband was so put off by the experience that he didn't want to order anything else. So all he ate was half the salad and a little bit of the cornbread that we got along with the meal. I ordered trout, which turned out to be pretty good. They didn't put any salt on it. I had to salt it a little bit myself. Anyway, when the bill came, we asked if they were going to remove the meal for my husband and she said yes, but they charged him $8 for the salad, because he ate some of it, which as I said before was nothing special. And because I changed my order to the trout, which was not on the weekly specials menu, they would not give me the dessert that came with the special. They did nothing whatsoever to try to make our experience a pleasant one. When you walk into a restaurant and you look at the menu, you expect that you're going to get what you order and you expect a level of satisfaction. Not only did they cheap out and make my husband pay eight dollars of an $18 meal, they also wouldn't even give me the dessert. They could have done so little to help us leave as satisfied customers. But it's obvious that money is their FIRST priority. We even asked the manager directly to take the salad off. She said the owners tell them what they can or can't do. So they just lost ANOTHER customer. Will NOT be returning! Side note: their five star ratings are almost the same amount as they're one star ratings, so eat here at your own risk! Mainly for old folks who love SALT!!!

During the planning phase, General Manager Mike's experience was extremely helpful when we shared what we envisioned for the party. He advised us where to set up the sections for food, a photo booth, the satellite bar, gift/message table, and where to place the tables that were in front of the stage for our hired entertainment (singer and DJ). We reserved the beach outdoor patio which can have up to 200 people, stage and dance area and TVs to project photos. From the moment we arrived, besides Mike, Kelly was also onsite and the point of contact for our event and was available during the event. The service was nothing short of exceptional. Servers Raelyn and team were attentive, personable, and went above and beyond to ensure a successful event. My husband and I were able to enjoy the party alongside our family with our family and friends. Our event was held during Memorial Day weekend when a chemical leak occurred in Garden Grove and Mike worked closely with us to address our concerns, kept us informed every step of the way regarding any potential impact to the Buena Park location (which, thankfully, was never affected) and made sure every detail we outlined in the layout of the event was in place. His professionalism and steady reassurance transformed what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless and joyful evening. The ambiance was lively, festive, and absolutely ideal for our crowd. And the food? Our guests could not stop raving about it. Everyone agreed it far surpassed typical bar food. The sliders were a massive hit, the pizza was devoured within minutes and generous in portion and incredible in flavor -- had everyone going back for seconds. Multiple guests approached us throughout the night just to compliment the food, which says everything. That night at Rock and Brews in Buena Park will forever be a cherished core memory for our family and friends. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our son's college graduation celebration so incredibly magical! If you're looking for a stress-free venue for your next event, Rock and Brews in Buena Park delivers on every level. Great food, amazing staff and a fun, relaxed atmosphere - they truly check all the boxes for an exceptional celebration!
