I've been here a few times for breakfast and i really enjoy their healty choices. I never eat a "real" breakfast, but when I'm in the mood, the omelets here are pretty tasty. I especially like their Fit Fare Veggie Skillet. Just the right amount of veggies and flavor. The only irritant is getting to this location. Having to come off of Placentia and drive through a very busy Chevron(?) to get into Denny's parking, is slighty annoying. I've eaten here for years. We rarely have had to wait for a table. Food and service is consistent and good. We've ordered take out food twice over the phone as we were paying cash. 1st time no problems. 2nd time, today, a couple of minor things. I asked for extra butter and syrup and we did not get it. I got the Supreme Skillet which was awesome. As I approached the bottom of the big bowl full of red tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, and red potatoes (all with cheese and 2 eggs on top) I realized I had yet to encounter any sausage! At the bottom I found half a sausage and 5 pieces of sausage. One single link of sausage. One. Lone. Sausage. Really??? Worst experience ever. Went in with my kids to get breakfast the you gentleman served our drink right away. We got our order taken by a lady. It took her about 20 to come back and let us know it would be like another 2-3 minutes but it was coming out!! Like about 10 minutes passed by and nothing!! I have been trying to get family to go to Denny's with me for a while. Finally I had some family go with me last Sunday. I explained that it seems to have gotten better since we were last disappointed with the food and service. I ordered the Eggs Benny and so did my family member. I guess the cook is not aware of how to make eggs Benedict as the eggs were fried hard instead of poached and the English muffins were burnt and difficult to even cut through with our knives. First off with a half empty restaurant on a Friday morning I didn't know it was possible to have you wait 15 min to be seated. Still have it a shot and stuck it out, 10 min later our server came to take our order and 25 min later our food finally cam out? I won't be coming back here again. Why am I rating this Denny's so high? Let me tell you. Came here after a wedding reception ended because no one craves Denny's are much as a group of people who had a lot to drink. Food was AMAZING! The server kept filling up on our waters. He was a real buddy. A member of our group had an accident at the table and instead of being pissed like any normal server would be because who wants to clean up after? No one. He chuckled and was like "too much cerveza?" and we were like yes. Brought him a bag and all and was cool about the situation. Thank you Denny's and the people working. I went to this Denny's last week and I had to wait 2 HOURS, TWO HOURS! There was only one worker that worked ur ass off the whole time while everyone else seemed to sit and watch. Ive been going to this loctaion for a couple years now. Every experience has been less than enjoyable. The staff is usually nice just VERY understaffed. You have to wait longer than usual for things and its hard to find ur server. Today i went in with my kids after a baseball game and they had one guy serving and doing the register. I asked for something with my drink which he dint bring then when he came back with my food i asked again along with one other thing. He said he would grab it and be right back yet i finished my meal and never got what i needed. Finally i sat there and waited forever for him to bring me my check, by then then i couldnt wait to leave. I will definatly be going to a different Denny's next time im hungry. This Denny's wasn't bad, but there was nothing special about it, either. Our waitress wasn't especially attentive; we had to go and find her every time we needed something because she was nowhere to be found. Although she wasn't attentive, she was friendly and full of smiles, so we at least appreciated her positive personality. We ran out of each of our drinks twice, and had to go and find her each time after over 5 minutes of waiting. Bear in mind that this location was nearly empty, with only 3 other tables filled with guests here. On top of that, the tables weren't exactly clean, and felt sort of sticky. However, the food was good and came out at a decent time. They had a special little promotion where you can donate $3 to hungry children. This donation comes with a little stack of coupons, which were very helpful. Decent experience, but nothing that I'd be willing to go out of my way for. read more

Came here with my sister for breakfast. I quickly noticed that the seating was segregated. We were placed in the back with other people of our same ethnicity. Service was terrible. Unfortunately the quality of this Denny's is extremely poor. We went for breakfast but all of our items were completely cold, some of the items were warm but completely spotty in most areas. The service was fine, nothing wrong with the waiters, but we ended up waiting for our food for awhile and I feel like they just left it out and didn't pick it up. HORRIBLE SERVICE HERE...I put my name in for 2 and there were at least 7 open tables when I arrived. We waited 20 minutes and not 1 table was seated ahead of us during that time. 3 parties ahead of us left because they weren't being seated at the open tables and 1 party left that was already seated because they weren't being helped.
