In town for a class and went to breakfast here at 7 am. The food came out fast and the service was top notch even though Sandy was the only server on duty taking care of 5 tables at this early hour of the morning. My western omelet was great tasting although I would have wanted it a little "hotter". My hubby's skillet looks great and he said it was hot and delicious. Sandy asked us on a refill on coffee and we said yes please . She refilled our coffee but unfortunately it was cold. We waited until she was available because she's the only server doing a great job at keeping all tables in mind. She took our cups away and refill it with hot coffee. Fell in love with their 9-grain pancakes but the service is so very bad I've given up and will not return after 5 recent visits. Waiters are friendly but incompetent. Waited over 30 minutes for our orders and everything was cold. Bacon was under-cooked despite asking for 'super crispy.' Hispanic families all around us were taken care of with coffee + water refills but we were ignored. It's a shame 'cuz I really loved those pancakes. I'd advise everyone to pass this Denny's and go to Tomboy's on Marine Avenue. read more

AVOID this place! In this Denny's is fed scraps!! i came there very late at night almost in the morning and was tired. I quickly ordered tea and "Mama D's Pot Roast Bowl". I don't eat bread and there is no bread on the meal photo in their menu. However it came with toasts (see photo). Furthermore, the toasts look like scraps! Like someone already bite them!! And it wasn't me!!! If they have got a video inside the restaurant they can clearly see that's not me!!! Just imagine my feeling guys when i saw it! When i asked questions but they refused anything of cause. They offered me a new meal instead and eventually said it's from the house! THE SCRAPS from their house!! This is my favorite Denny's location to come to! They are always efficient, and the food never disappoints. My server today, Jose Regalado, deserves special praise for making my parents and I feel like family. He is so warm and welcoming while providing great service. His friendly smile brightens up the ambiance of this Dennys. I never have to wait or wonder where my waiter is when he waits on us; he checks on us often and is readily available. He brings out the food when it is still warm and fresh. My French toast was fluffy and delicious today; it receives top marks from me. The eggs were cooked to perfection. I am so happy with my dining experience here, that I will continue to choose this location for years to come. Jose's service with a smile is a big part of that. read more

I visit my parents who live in the area about once a month, and we go to Denny's for breakfast after church on Sunday. We always request Sandy as our server because she is attentive, always cheerful, and makes sure our food is exactly as we like it. The food at this Denny's is consistently good - and it always comes out hot! Sandy always makes sure our coffee cups our full and that my dad gets his "decaf" while my mom & I get regular. This is a very busy restaurant, yet Sandy never makes us feel rushed, and always takes a minute or two to chat without it affecting her ability to handle all her tables. Walked into this establishment and a man was getting a refund for his food because he said the staff were discriminatory towards himself and his son. "If you're not Hispanic, they won't give you good service", he said. This worried me because I'm not Mexican, and didn't wanna receive bad service as well, with 100% of the staff being Hispanic. The Hispanic greeter/cashier was laughing and smirking as the patron explained his frustrations/concerns. I'm not sure as to what would be funny about a patron feeling discriminated against. Anyways, my party was sat in a back corner of the restaurant, which I didn't understand the reason for, with so many other tables being open. The food was tasty per usual, as with any Denny's.
