Came in with a guest to get down on this awesome triple Burger I heard of. Not all locations are made equal, and that certainly applies to this specific Denny's off El Segundo blvd. The burger was awesome, and without the bun for bread I was able to polish it off entirely Believe it or not. I got a nice small salad on the side with extra ranch, and my guest went ahead and ordered a monster steak. This particular Denny's is not only well staffed, but the staff is spot on when it comes to the clarity of the order, and just overall having great personalities. Today's CSA (or Customer Service All Star) was none other than Jhon A, who was " Johnny on the Spot" and tended to us on a level that would make some five-star restaurant servers jealous! We walked here to grab a quick early morning bite to eat. It was moderately packed, but not bad for a weekend. We were seated immediately. Within ten minutes the waitress was taking our orders. The food was standard Denny's. Nothing different from all the other ones, except the service here was much better than some of the other ones we've gone to. read more

Ambiance wasn't too bad since it was pretty busy. The waitress was nice and came to check in on us. The food wasn't too great. Not sure if the brisket was supposed to come out burnt the way it did but it wasn't too great. Probably should've figured since it's Denny's. There wasn't too much mac n cheese on it and lacked some sauce. The photo is after I had asked if I could get some less burnt pieces. They said they would just put it in the microwave to make it less burnt. Not sure how that works but I said it was fine. Other than that it wasn't too bad. We love Denny's. This one is great. The service is fast and nice and the food is served hot and the way it is ordered. We usually go for breakfast. Their Gran Slam is great and a fair price. We really like their pancakes and hash browns. We have also been for lunch and their burgers are pretty good, but sometimes over cooked. The place is cute and always clean. We are happy at this Denny's and we suggest you give it a try. They are open late and parking is free and easy in their lot. read more

The service was fine and the food was good. It was busy as usual for a Sunday so we were sat outside. Fine. The outside patio (which is part of the parking lot with just a tarp covering) is not pleasant at all. It's not a comfortable dining experience at all. They use plastic party tables with plastic chairs. There's tables don't have any covers so your silverware just rests on a dirty, dusty table. There's no service stations for the waiters out there so they have to constantly run in and out of the restaurant to grab anything. This tarp has been up for over 4 years. (since restaurants opened up from covid)this is a lazy outdoor area to bring in more customers. At least invest into this outdoor space to make it more comfortable. read more

The guy with the long hair came to me and treated me like I was a homeless person after I spent money on a meal and coffee had some work to do and have come once and a while and the guys have always been welcoming to me. This long haired guy tells me I have to leave & move cause he has to clean I suggest moving to another seat area and wow he proceeds to tell me I have to leave making excuses when I have always tipped well, been kind, mind my business and had great report with other staff welcoming me. Had a business meeting and one of the parties suggested this location. The parking lot was a little crammed. They had a tent up that took up a third of the lot. The server was really accommodating. I would rate her a 5. I rated this a 3 because there wasn't any consistency in meal items. Two of us had the plant based burgers. My burger was over cooked and hers was undercooked. Orders were not filled as specified. Some of us had fries that were golden, some brown because they were in the fryer too long. I will say that they are accommodating for large groups. read more

Came here on a random saturday night with my friend to have late night breakfast, and our waiter Christian was attentive until we asked for our check. We got a copy of our first check which was about $47 & change. We paid our bill with a $100 bill; and he walked away. then my friend & I decided we wanted something sweet to end the night. Christian then brought us our dessert and came back with another check which totaled $58 & change. Christian claims we never paid our first check which, we did.. because I saw my friend hand him our first receipt of $47 with the $100 bill.. and our change was never brought to us. I don't think it's customary for a waiter to think the change is theirs to keep and then try to get someone to re-pay their bill. We asked the shift manager Mariana to check the cameras which she said we would have to come back in the morning but it seems to me very unfair that we had to go through this. DO BETTER! Safe to say, I will not be coming here again. Lesson learned: PAY IN THE FRONT & don't expect to get your change back should you pay from the table. read more

Me & my husband have decided that we need good classic diner food every time we're done traveling from the airport. So we come here and he ALWAYS gets the Moons Over My Hammy while i tried the new Pumpkin Pecan Pancake Slam -- both were delicious & perfect after a long day of travel! Dropped in with friends and family on July 19 at the Denny's on El Segundo Blvd., Giselle was very helpful and attentive while waiting on us. She made sure we got all of our drink refills and our orders were correct. The food was good, I had one small issue with my food, but it wasn't worth the complaint. Giselle would have gotten it fixed I am sure, but I didn't feel like sending my food back. The mistake wasn't her fault. It was a busy night, even if it didn't seem like it. It was a pleasant experience and we'll likely be back at some point. If I am not mistaken, Emslie helped us out at the cash register. "70% of your experience is the service, 30% is your food. It happened again... did not get all the food that I paid for even after asking them to please doublecheck the order. About three weeks ago I paid a little bit over $13 extra for some extra bread and I received zero extra on that takeout order. $80 + take out order. TODAY AGAIN! Over a $85 dollar order but also Paid another $13.11 for some extra bread and I received this time extra bread for two instead of three! I need to quit tipping these guys so well ($14+) for takeout orders, this is ridiculous. I did try calling immediately upon arriving to my house and opening up my bag and no one there answering on two separate calls. I thought only McDonald's screwed up that bad. Every time I come here, Edelwina, a sweet and attentive server, always comes to help up. I've been here a few times, and every time she has come to serve me and my father, and makes the experience overall better. The food is very delicious, I ordered the Bourbon Chicken Skillet (which Edelwina enjoys that one too!) and it was delicious. I would totally recommend it. We've come for breakfast and lunch, and coming on a Tuesday at 12pm was surprisingly not super busy. Thank you Edelwina for always serving us!
