We had a late breakfast after getting my haircut. The Chicken fried steak you order it with beef iron chicken. I had ordered beef. The steak was tender and not overcooked. I wish it had more gravy. The food was good, Nirms has a better chicken fried steak. Karla was our sever and she was attentive. She came back to refill our coffees and asked us if we need ed anything. The restaurant customers appear to be all locals. Mostly seniors . Nothing wrong with that.

Breakfast this morning was better than I expected, but still could have been better. There are a few locations all around Los Angeles and I would not classify them as a diner, more as a fast service American restaurant. The best part of the meal was the pricing because it is very fair. There is plenty of seating inside, both booth and counter and parking is very easy and free because it's attached to a shopping center. Service was pretty quick for me although it did take quite a while for me to be able to place my food order. I was immediately seated right when I entered and they brought my drinks immediately after being seated. I did have to wait about 10 minutes to place the order, but when the food came it was better than I was expecting. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and even though the hollandaise was a bit watery in my opinion the ham on the bottom was very good and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I got side of avocado and it was not the freshest avocado but I still ate it. Overall a pretty nice experience although does not really give me the restaurant kind of feel. I would recommend it if you are in the area.

I think it's been a million years since we have dined here, so it was nice to take my mom out for a breakfast date. Lots of booths available , all private as they share high non see through glass partitions. Menu is large with a lot menu options from breakfast into dinner. Breakfast is served all day. We both went for the eggs and bacon combo with toast and English muffin. Nice presentation, eggs and potatoes weren't as warm as I'd like them to be though. But, what was really odd was the bacon. It had a smell and taste that was old or cheap. I don't know what or where this bacon came from, but it was not high quality- no fatty or nice crispy like texture that you normally see. My mom who is not a picky eater did not touch any of it! Her fave - the apple cinnamon herbal tea and the toast with strawberry jelly! Friendly service, but food is just ok. Not sure if I would come back....

The pancakes were so tasty but the strawberries were old so my review is lower. I had to send the strawberries back & it only took $1 off which didn't make any sense because on the breakfast menu it says the waffle combo is $7.99 but it said $12 on the receipt for the waffles. My grandma liked her omelette with chicken but I do not like that I had to pay extra for spinach and mushrooms in the omelette, I wouldn't have minded if the ingredients were 50cent or $1 but they charged us $2.25 for each topping. So her omelette came up to $22. We paid $50 for these small plates. The only thing I say that was very tasty was the hot chocolate, I always ask for no whip cream. I usually add sugar to my cocoa but their cocoa is so sweet it don't need anything added. I think if they would've gave me the pancakes for free and apologized about the strawberries instead of just taking them off my pancakes would've left me with a better review but my pancakes still tasted like the old strawberries.

We always stop here when visiting family in this area. I love the customer service and the "old school" feel of the restaurant. The menu is pretty broad and although I haven't had many different items from it, whenever I go with someone- the love whatever they order. I've only ever had breakfast here and the portions are large enough to share! We love a shareable plate! 10/10

There is a very large selection of food on the menu, but my daughter and I just got breakfast items. I also ordered one of there seared jalepenos (jalapenos toreados) and I added it to my machaca and, watch out, that gave it a kick but it was loaded with flavor. It was the same size as the $18-21 enchilada plate that I got (the crunchy enchiladas). We tried the mazapan crepe with a side of scrambled eggs, hash browns and bacon, and the free warm cinnamon conchas. The menu offers the classic American breakfast things but has a Mexican flare. They have all you can eat pancakes for $5-6. They also have a kids menu. The table comes set with syrup and coffee creamers. The bad: We ordered a trio flight of agua fresca but it never came. When our meal ended and we asked for the check I asked for them to remove the flight that never came and the waiter didn't apologize for it not coming. We had to flag down our waiter and walk over to him to get attention (extra fork, bill, etc). The crunchy enchiladas was more just scrambled eggs with chilaquiles on top. A knife wasn't brought to us for the crepes. The crepes were on the slightly too sweet side. The interesting: The store is more narrow and long. The inside reminds me of diners like Denny's.

This would have easily been a 5-star review if I hadn't gotten sick the last time I ate here…read more I ordered the vegan breakfast burrito (the Vegana Toast made into a burrito) with vegan bacon, and it was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, about 10 minutes after eating it, I got sick. My guess is that something may have been off with the Just Egg, but I can't say for sure. The mini waffles were a disappointment. They seemed deep-fried, smelled heavily of grease, and weren't soft at all. They even left the bag soaked with grease. On the positive side, the vegan BLT was phenomenal--super flavorful, unique, and one of the best vegan sandwiches I've had. Finding the entrance was a little confusing because it's very unassuming. I expected it to be on the side of the building facing the street, but it's actually tucked away in the back, facing the parking lot and the Courtyard Marriott. When we walked in, the place was packed. Keep in mind it's a very small café, so with that many people inside, it got pretty warm and felt cramped. We overheard the hostess tell the group ahead of us that the wait would be about 45 minutes. Rather than wait in such a tight space, we decided to order takeout instead. I ordered the Build Your Own Omelette: 3 eggs with spinach, onions, tomatoes, cheese, potatoes, and toast, along with the Golden Milk Latte made with turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, clove, cardamom, nutmeg, black pepper, and their house-made Madagascar vanilla bean syrup. We took our food back to the car and enjoyed breakfast there while the Tesla finished charging. It ended up being much more comfortable than waiting inside. The hostess seemed a bit overwhelmed, but considering how busy it was and how small the restaurant is, it was understandable.

I didn't leave disappointed, but I also didn't leave feeling like I'd want to come back. The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and has a nice atmosphere. It feels like one of those places where you'd meet up with friends, relax, and chat for a while. Visually, it makes a great first impression. The food, however, was average. I ordered the Best Avocado Toast, and while it wasn't bad, it's hard to justify the price. At the end of the day, it's avocado on toast, and I've honestly had more flavorful versions elsewhere for less money. The smoked salmon toast was also underwhelming. The salmon surprisingly lacked much of that smoky flavor, and the bread felt thicker than the toppings themselves, making the balance a little off. The shrimp Tom Yum soup was probably my biggest disappointment. At $14, I expected something with bold, authentic flavors. Instead, it tasted fairly basic. It had the citrusy notes you'd expect, but it was sweeter than I prefer, likely because of the amount of cherry tomatoes used. The service is where things became frustrating. We waited around 20 minutes before our order was taken, then roughly another 30 minutes before food started coming out. What made it more frustrating was that everything arrived at completely different times. The matcha latte came first, then the Tom Yum soup, and it was another 20 minutes before the rest of the entrées arrived. We ended up waiting so everyone could eat together instead of one person eating while everyone else watched. Normally I don't mind waiting if a restaurant is busy, but based on many of the Yelp reviews, this doesn't seem like a one-time occurrence. A common theme is that there's only one server running the dining room. Our waitress was friendly and polite, but she was clearly overwhelmed, juggling six or more tables by herself. I don't blame her--I blame the staffing. At one point I even watched someone wait over 30 minutes for two specialty drinks because the server was busy with other tables. That really summed up the experience. If the food had completely blown me away, I could overlook the long wait. Unfortunately, the flavors were simply average, so the overall experience didn't justify the prices or the time spent waiting. Would I come back? Probably not. I'm glad I gave it a try because it's a nice-looking café, but with average food, premium prices, and consistently slow service, there just wasn't enough to make me want to return.
