We were literally waiting for the bus so I ran in and grabbed an apple fritter to go! It was everything that I hoped it would be, from the cinnamon to the large apple chunks. It was easily 150% the size of Apple fritters I had encountered in other donut shops. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and rang me up quickly! They have tons of drink choices in two different refrigerators! If you're waiting for the bus and trying to decide if you have time to run in to grab something quick to eat, you do. The food here is absolutely incredible, I love getting the jalapeño ham and cheese croissant, every donut I've had has been delicious. The Vietnamese coffee is so good also. And the service is always great everyone who works there is so kind and helpful. This store is always immaculately clean and has also really good natural lighting from the windows. Wonderful service! The staff here are very friendly and service is very quick here. I live very far from the area but a friend recommended them to me. I drove about 28 minutes and it was definitely worth it! When I ordered, the owners were incredibly sweet and they were very patient as it was my first time ordering. The food was amazing especially the muffins. They weren't the typically mushy and overly sweet. They were chewy and had a rich-not-to-sweet taste. The setup was very simple and serene. Ok the good first. Delivery was pretty fast. My friend seemed to enjoy their turkey sandwich. My ham and cheese croissant was ok- not as I expected. They added butter and I didn't enjoy that. The donuts I tried were bad. The chocolate twist tasted strongly of chemicals. I couldn't eat it. The maple cake had a weird aftertaste and the texture was lacking. Change your hours on grub hub if you don't want to deliver after a certain time. I ordered at 7:25pm, last call per grub hub is 8:10 (it's not 7:49 as I'm sitting here writing this). Paid $20 for a handful of donuts and green tea... was excited to see a donut delivery spot since I know it's going to be a late night tonight! Out of al the places in the area, I like this one better for three reasons. First, I like what they serve. I like the cold sandwiches on hot bagels. Total favorite. Two, I can pay with a debit card. They do have square app, however I don't know what's the minimum. They always keep coffee stocked, even when the line is at the door. And most importantly, good and friendly service. This is your average hood donut spot. They have good old-fashioned donuts, no cereal-topped non-sense, which is nice.. take yo ass' across the 10 if you want bougie-boo.. lol. But for real it's just the classics here. Glaze, glaze twist, chocolate, chocolate/chocolate, a few sprankles (choc, etc), jelly fields, cinnamon rolls, danishite (plural form of danish), and of course donut-holes. I;m sure I'm missing some but you get the idea. I grabbed 2 dozen mixed for my ho, I mean co-workers and it set me back about $17, fair enough. Mom's also does sandwiches, like croissant style, or bagel stlye sandwiches. Never tried em' but they're there.. The also have a pretty decent candy selection and a few popular packs of cigarettes to go along with that morning coffee. read more

Mom's Donuts is by far one of my Go-To places for donuts & breakfast sandwiches, it's tied between Here and a place called Queens Donuts over at 14601 Prarie Ave, however over the past 2 years I've been going to Queens mainly because it was right by my High School at the time, however now that ive come back to Mom's on a Regular I can confidently say that Mom's is Top Tier as far as service and Quality as far as I see But one thing i noticed is that my experience has always differed based on what time i went there, by far my best experiences have all been in the morning (Highly Recommend going at that time) it's always packed at around 7-8 am going on 9, its a nice atmosphere, most likely a couple people eating in and there's usually these 2 Asian Employees there, a man and woman, both have glasses, these 2 are AWESOME, such nice individuals, and so energetic and caring, they really make me feel good about myself when ordering there, i always get a breakfast bagel and a donut when there at that time. The only somewhat negative experience I've had in the morning happened about 3-4 maybe even 5 years ago at this point. Me and my Mom ordered 2 French Crullers, not thinking much of it other than a donut, however when biting into it, the dough in the middle of it was mushy and underheated. When inquiring about it, the employees kindly explained that those arent actually made there, they get them from somewhere else, meaning they cant tell whether they're 100% done or not, which im sure they would be better if done there but what's done is done, but like i said this happened 3-5 years ago so I cant say for certain if this had changed or not so take what you will from that When going in the Afternoons, its like a totally different place, it's usually empty, and the employee is always different from the morning shift, typically an older man with a gray-black beard, him im not exactly fond of due to acting like hes there to get paid and not for loving his job, however the food/drinks quality is still the same, I've usually come in the afternoons to get a honeydew smoothie (delicious btw) so like before take what you will from that But I still recommend not that you at least try the morning but just give this place a chance im sure you can grow fond of this place :) read more

This review is for a Doordash delivery on a lazy, rainy Sunday for brunch. All in all, 3.5 stars for their food. We had the very delicious warm ham, bacon, sausage, egg, cheese croissant -- 5/5, would order again. Ham & cheese croissant was average, same with the chocolate custard-filled donut. The Taro shake needed more sugar (and I usually don't like things super sweet). The French crullers were good and fresh. Raspberry filled donut was delicious. read more
