Reglar sides plus large bbq sauce
Nancy M.

Placed an order by phone and I didn't get a detailed receipt so I cannot say how much I paid for each item (total cost $90) but I got 1lb of brisket, 1/2lb of Turkey, 1 sausage link and a whole chicken. Also ordered regular sides (which is one serving) of creamed corn, green beans, potato salad and macaroni. We did have to oh at the time of the order but it was ready for pick up in 10 mins. Overall the quantity of food was great. We were 4 adults and all ate until we were full and even had leftovers for lunch the next day. Our favorite was the brisket but everything was delicious.

Smoked turkey meat, juicy, and glistening

My family visited Dee Willie's BBQ on Zarzamora and the meal was so-so. The cream corn was made with too much flour as a thickner, but spoke with the owner, offered a suggestion and he repaired the cream corn. The mac & cheese was to dry, the owner repaired the mac & cheese. And ooooh the brisket! I asked for marble brisket and the brisket I received was not marble, was dry, was not tender and no taste. I spoke with the owner and he took my plate back, went to the kitchen, returned with THE REAL JUICY BRISKET & explained that there is two brisket cuts (which I did not know). The ribs my daughter ordered, did not look like the advertised Baby Back Ribs. The ribs were, I guess pork, flat, no taste and just not right. But, the owner gave me a sample of the smoked turkey meat and THAT was the icing on the cake! The smoked turkey meat was glistening with juice, tasted superb, and had an amazing flavor. Overall, the owner repaired what needed to be corrected, was very empathetic and polite. I would not return, but of course other people's palette is different from my palette. The peach cobbler and the blackberry cobbler were tastefull. Thanks goes to the owner for repairing the items that needed repairing, his empathy and his understanding.

Great little spot on the south side. Apparently they have another spot somewhere. Price was reasonable. Brisket was eh. Turkey and sausage was really good. Cream corn and green beans were awesome. The bbq is really tasty. Definitely with a coat for the price. Wouldn't mind going back to try the Dino rib. Staff there were very nice and super fast. Would recommend.

I didn't write a review on our first attempt at the all you can eat since the meat tasted old and dry and thought maybe they were having an off day. We tried it for a second time and the results were the same the service was excellent but the meat is dry most pieces are just not edible. The cream corn and Arnold Palmer were on point.

We ordered all you can eat brisket baby back ribs and beans, baked potatoes salad and green beans. The meats had good flavor but somewhat dry. The beans ok. The baked potatoes salad good green beans also good and the sauce good too. Very attentive service pleasant waitress. Very quiet atmosphere some country music not loud.

My phone did not eat first lol. It was so good I could not wait. The 1/2 1/2 lb. Brisket Sandwich

If you loveee lean meat like I do you will love Dee Willie's! I am superrr picky and do not like fatty meat, and Dee Willie's lean brisket is chefs kiss for me! 9/10 times it's going to hit! The service and people are always so nice and the food always comes out quick! Also their buns are Hawaiian bread and always toasted! I wish they had another location closer to my house lol.

It's good, the service was great & ambiance is chill.. the food was ok... cream corn was a 6 out of 10. I probably won't come back. I must say the grape koolaid was on point.

The vibe was really off here at this restaurant. The server told us we couldnt share the 27.99 all you can eat special when we're literally paying for it. Also got told we can't take our leftovers home. We paid for our food we should be allowed to take it with us. Brisket wasnt my favorite choice. It was tough and difficult to chew. The brisket wasn't soft like I was expecting. The cream corn was good. Mac and cheese was decent didn't really have a wow factor that made the flavor pop. The pulled pork was great. Probably the food I mostly liked. I was a big fan of the barbecue sauce because it wasn't really smoky it was more sweet, my boyfriend wasn't a fan of it for that reason. Overall the place was decent. Probably wouldn't go back there just because theres better barbecue options.

In the south side of San Antonio and you walk into a country atmosphere with a smoked bbq fragrance. There were lots of cars in the parking lot but we were seated fast and our server Danielle quickly attended to us. We ordered a loaded baked potato with chopped brisket and baby back ribs. Then for dessert we got a pecan cobbler and a peach cobbler. The baked potato was soft and full of all the fixings and topped with a heaping serving of chopped brisket. The baby back ribs were tender and fell off the bones. The warm cobblers hit the spot after all that yummy food.

Salad the way God intended to be served!!!

While the food is okay, it's just not that memorable or worth the price you end up paying for.

For a starter we shared the cornbread with another couple and it was plenty for 4 people. If you are from out of town and looking for some Texas-shaped vittles or just want something substantial to stretch your meal I recommend it! Very tasty and filling. For my main I had the scallops with creamed corn risotto. It was a dainty portion but the flavors were nice. My husband had the short rib tagliatelle which he loved. It was very rich and filling. We had the buttermilk pie again for dessert and this time it tasted sweeter than I remembered. It was good but we couldn't finish it. Idk if it was my tastebuds or if it was different. Checked Yelp for dinner suggestions so Doc drove us to the paid lot next to where all the Cinderella lit up carriages drawn by horses were lined up. It seemed the boats going up and down the River portion of the Walk were busier. While we were walking I had my eyes open for a table with a view. We stopped at Four Brothers. The receptionist went over suggestions on the menu on her outdoor podium. Cornbread in the shape of Texas, shareable items like Dino ribs for $82, plus Pork Shank and ice tea completed our order. Everyone was very friendly. We had an exceptional view and we had more than enough food that we had to ask for take out boxes. My favorite was the Mac & cheese though I'm usually not a fan. This dish used cork screw shaped pasta and it was moist and not stuck together. I had to share a photo of it with Sweetie who is in Tokyo right now. Doc liked the pimento for the cornbread. As it was almost 9 pm we decided to pass on the boat ride but just walk on the other side with shops and more eateries. We're back on the road again tomorrow to Arizona.

We were right on the river walk, but walked through the entire restaurant on our way to be seated and every bit of it is as lovely as where we ended up sitting. The Riverwalk, however, is a people watching place and so there really isn't any place in this particular restaurant which is not gonna be pleasant. Secondly, the service is exceptional. This is a very busy place. However, the waiter was simply incredible. Very attentive, very informative quite humorous. He was frankly part of the river walk entertainment. Extremely accommodating and instructive as well. You can't hope for much more from a server in Restaurant than this activity. The food is really quite good. How are the drinks. Extremely dependable and the portions are generous and equally wonderful. There are many places to dine in San Antonio. However, this is an experience not to be missed and I mean that quite sincerely. The soup never arrived, but we didn't say anything because the prime rib with fries and veg looked like plenty of food for us. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the lime chess pie. In general, I adore chess pies but the lime flavor just didn't pair well with the custard filling.

Favorite item was the Alamo huevos rancheros. This was a rare treat to enjoy a dish with brisket, cheese, and salsa without some kind of heartburn afterwards. But this was lighter than expected and tasted amazing! Other dishes we tried: Egg white frittata: very good and a nice touch that it is served in a skillet! Texas waffle: was one of the best waffles either of us has had in a long time Blueberry pancakes: very good. I really enjoyed the stewed blueberry Chilaquiles: this we felt was the only miss. Didn't like that it was prepared with tortilla chips instead of fried tortillas Steak and eggs: ask for extra chimichurri sauce and maybe add some extra salt. Once you do that, this dish is fantastic Avocado toast: this definitely needs smoked salmon or other protein. Otherwise it isn't very substantial.
