    Shrimp and crab enchilada

This is our first time in San Antonio and we happened upon Boudros. We sat outside right on the river. They have a beautiful indoor dining room as well. Our server was attentive and informative and made some delicious table-side guacamole. My husband and I got the shrimp and crab enchiladas and the blackened fish. Both were terrific. The prickly pear frozen margaritas really hit the spot on a hot day. Our server also made us off the menu spicy margaritas that were the best we'd ever had. Highly recommend!

We had dinner at Boudro's because it came so highly recommended on Yelp. We got a table outside and it was very nice and our service was amazing from Drew. The guacamole tableside was good, but not a huge portion. I ordered the filet and my husband ordered the blackened prime rib. I ordered my filet medium and it came very rare so they took it back and brought a second one out that was just as rare. I ended up not eating an entrée for dinner and just ate the sides. My husband said his blackened prime rib was decent, but it was rather thin and they had butter on top of it, which did not even melt because it was not very hot when he received it. They did comp my steak and offered a free dessert because of what happened. If we lived in San Antonio, I think we would give them a second chance.

Hard to find parking and it's expensive across the street. The take side guac was good, but was very spicy. Also there was more chips than guac. Ordered the steak frites, it was okay. The steak looked interesting. Also they brought bread and butter with your meal which is weird, should be before cause you can barely finish your food.

Our group of 9 sat outside along the San Antonio Riverwalk. We had the tableside guacamole, and I highly recommend you should too. I had the Texas Quail and if you like dark meat of a chicken, you will love this dish, spectacular. Others at the table had salmon, coconut shrimp, shrimp & grits and sirloin & frites. Everyone loved the food. Service was great. Took a little bit to receive our beverages, but food was to the table within 15-20 minutes from order. Would eat at here again.

We had such a lovely evening on the patio at Boudros! When we arrived we were told they try to give prime seating to those with reservations, so even if you aren't sure you'll need one I suggest snagging one! We enjoyed the table side guacamole, the crab and shrimp enchilada plate, & prickly pear margaritas. Typically I do not order a mole sauce, but so so glad we tried the enchiladas because it was delicious! Overall such a lovely evening and will be visiting again!

Was able to make same day reservations on a Monday night. I ordered the table side guac and prime rib. The guac was good, but it wasn't amazing. I really liked the prime rib. It was very flavorful and cooked perfectly!

So in Knoxville we used the RESY app and found the Kennedy so now in San Antonio I thought to use it again, I will say that I'm starting to believe that there is a level of flavors in order to be in the RESY group. This food was so delicious, I personally was scraping my plate to get every drop of that gravy. The staff was very friendly and with good suggestions, the ambiance was simple but scenic. I'm still thinking about that lunch and we've decided we are going back tomorrow

The food was absolutely delicious! Be aware that some items in their photos section might not be on the menu now. Richard, our waiter, was fantastic! He was attentive, friendly, courteous, and professional, despite being busy with other customers too. I love the atmosphere. There is seating inside and outside, but I prefer the outside seating, because I like the people watch. Being on the side of the Riverwalk is the perfect spot!

Leaving Bandera, Texas and heading to Austin-Bergstrom Airport, I had just a couple hours to show my sister-in-law the San Antonio Riverwalk. We found this spot with easy river access, and it exceeded every expectation. The staff was unbelievably friendly from the moment we arrived. Parking was a block away ($25 for two hours), and the elevator down to the restaurant was easy to find. We got a beautiful table right on the river and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. The tableside guacamole was hands-down the best I've ever had, and the shrimp cocktail served in a cucumber boat with sauces right in the boat was both creative and delicious. From start to finish, the staff treated us like VIPs--even guiding us back to the elevator when we left. Amazing food, stunning view, and incredible service, definitely a must-visit on the Riverwalk! Yelp Austin Elite approved!!

Jaime was a magnificent waiter. So attentive and kind. 100% recommend his tables! Wonderful service! Even in the elevator! Everyone was so welcoming and kind! Great customer service! This restaurant is family and children friendly! Highly recommend anything on the menu! Their specialties are steak and seafood. The guacamole for two is delicious and made tableside. Also, the Caesar salad was delicious! Had the prickly pear margarita and it was so tasty and went down smooth.

    Tomato salad. Delicious!

Want a great FriDate spot with your special someone? Get on down to Boudro's, you wont regret it! Now to start, this is on the Riverwalk, so of course its busy with tourists and if you sit on the water's edge like we did, you'll have a constant stream of humanity walking by you. Great for people watching, bad for a private dinner. We didnt mind and enjoyed watching all the different people walking by or taking the boat tour. We had reservations and luckily did get the water side table. Which was great for the reasons mentioned above, however it did mean slightly delayed service as our waiter, Tracey J, was running from the water to the kitchen and seemed to have a section that spanned the entire dining area. You can tell he was hustling, so nothing bad to say about him, Im sure its not his fault he was tasked with such a disparate area. We started with the tomato salad, which was fantastic and she got the double rib pork chop and I got the grilled prime rib. We honestly should have just shared one entree, these are true Texas sized portions! I cant decide which one I liked more, the sauce on the pork chop was amazing and my prime rib was cooked perfectly. Even the grilled veggies that came with both were delicious! They cant validate for the parking structure across the street, which isnt their fault since it's now a private structure, so expect to pay $20-$30 for parking which is about the going rate for the Riverwalk on a Friday. All in all this was a great experience and one we'll repeat!

The guacamole was great, very fresh! Ordered the blackened prime rib and definitely met the expectations. Very fatty, but overall cooked perfectly. Also ordered the crab and shrimp enchiladas and was a bit disappointed. Lacked salt or any flavor, and overall bland. The portion size was generous but I would not order it again.

Way better than I expected for a restaurant on a touristy area of the Riverwalk in San Antonio. The table side guacamole was fantastically prepared by our server. The wood grilled steak was perfectly seasoned at the perfect temperature. The wife had the tile fish, which was also wood grilled, was delicious. The atmosphere by the river this evening was also very pleasant. Overall a wonderful dining experience.
