Couldn't be more pleased on my first visit. We didn't realize it's 8 and they were closed, but when they saw us outside they came and opened the door and let us in! I went this 4th of July but was unaware, until I got to the door, that they were closed early for the holiday. I started to walk away when the owner opened door and told me to come in and get what i needed- CANOLIS & CHEESECAKE haha. Just happened to be right next door to this bakery so I dropped in. The staff was attentive and helpful and the pastries and cakes displayed beautifully. I'm not a huge pastry fan but my guests raved about the cannoli cream and complimented the linzer tarts. The lobster tails were also a favorite. My only complaint like most bakeries is the lack of pricing. You order and until you're getting cashed out you have no idea how much of a bill you just racked up! The prices here were reasonable. The cheese danish is the perfect blend of cheese danish and crumb cake, which makes sense because their crumb cake is also delicious. I've had several of their small pastries: the cheese cake is great, the tiramisu flavorful. I liked their cannoli. Just walked into this bakery for the first time tonight as I needed to pick up a quick dessert for family dinner. I was pleased to find some variety other than the typical eclairs and cannolis (which I adore) because I was in the mood for something new. The owner was very warm and helpful and offered a sample of an Italian donut which is comparable to heaven. I ended up selecting a variety of mini pastries including a Caramel bomb mousse that looked picturesque I almost don't want to eat because it's so damn pretty.
