My first and only bridal appointment was at David's Bridal in Eugene. I found the PERFECT, most beautiful dress. I traveled 2 hours to this location as our town doesn't have a huge bridal selection. I was greeted at the door with beautiful, friendly smiles. Which, to me, is important in sales. Huge dress selection and very clean showroom. I did have in tow quite the crowd; my mom, dad and stepmom, brother, two best friends, and my godson. They immediately gave me a welcome packet and showed me and my family to a seated area in the back with mirrors. I immediately began to panic. My first dress appointment and my wedding is less than 2 months away, so I needed to leave the store with a dress that needs zero alterations. *I'm 6'3" so I was already discouraged before walking in, plus you have to force me to wear a dress. My bridal specialist was Todd. I'm not a modest person so it was no big deal for me being in a dressing room with him. He made me feel comfortable and was hilarious. He also understood I have body issues and even the dresses that didn't work for me, he was still complimenting me on something. After finding out the dress I fell in love with on the website wasn't in the store, he worked his butt off to make sure we found a dress. After coming in wanting a dress with lace and straps with no train, he pulled a "wild card" dress for me to try. I almost didn't try it on, but told myself he's a professional, and we'll see. It was everything I hadn't planned on; strapless, satin with beading, and a train. It brought me and my family to tears. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever put on, and I'll keep it forever! Thank you Oleg Cassini for making such an amazing dress. It's perfect and was long enough. The Ivory color I wanted wasn't in stock, so they're ordering it and shipping it straight to my house! It's more than I ever dreamed it to be. Thank you Todd and your expert team for being so understanding and helpful. We also had our bridesmaid dresses ordered and shipped to each of their individual houses. The dresses we selected online were $50 more in the store, but they honored the online pricing thanks to Todd escalating the issue to his manager. David's Bridal(Eugene, OR), a huge THANK YOU for making my upcoming special day even more beautiful. My entire family was impressed by your customer service and finesse when it came to helping me find a dress, which felt like an impossible task. You guys ROCK! read more

My daughters and I joined our friend (from towns 75 miles apart) at the store to find a flower girl dress for my 6 year old, bridesmaids dresses for my 2 20-somethings, and a mother's dress for myself. SAMANTHA was our helper during our visit and she was fantastic! (I have her name in all caps because I want to be sure someone in charge sees this and recognizes her wonderful customer service!) There were several moments where us gals were somewhat distracted chatting with one another--I lightheartedly told Samantha we were having a "mini family reunion"--she was so patient and understanding of our excitement to see one another after not having a visit for nearly a year. Samantha was genuinely delighted to help us all find dresses that fit well and that we really liked. My daughters had a great time trying on dresses and easily found ones they love. For me, finding one that fits well is not an easy feat . . . I'm in my 40s, overweight, and very busty. I detest trying on clothing because it's so difficult to find things that fit and look nice at the same time. Samantha was very patient and very non-judgmental. Her pleasant attitude made our day super fun. Even chubby middle-aged ladies enjoy feeling pretty sometimes and Samantha's smile and joyful personality melted away all my anxiety and negative feelings . . . for the couple hours we were at the store, I was able to completely forget that I hate trying on clothes and thoroughly enjoyed trying on multiple beautiful gowns. I found one that fits so nicely that when I look in the mirror, I feel like I got a body transplant! Samantha made helpful suggestions and and answered all our questions clearly and thoroughly. The store was very busy with several parties having appointments and other customers coming in, as well. We tried not to monopolize Samantha and she was fabulous about being available for us and helping others at the same time. I will be posting a compliment about her on my Facebook wall because I know several people who have upcoming weddings. I hope many of them will go to David's Bridal in Eugene, Oregon just to meet Samantha! I have been in management and I am a stickler for excellent customer service . . . Samantha's customer service was exemplary yesterday! read more

The new location, that is just one parking lot over, is AMAZING. Brand new and beautiful! I have been going to Davids Bridal for my wedding dress, all brides maids dresses and the mother of the bride dress. The staff there is the greatest. They are all so kind, caring, helpful and have nothing but the best interest for you to make your special day beautiful. My favorite associates are Whitney, Denise, Matthew, Ameila, and Elizabeth the seamstress! There have been times where I needed to come in last minute to have them help me with my dress and have always had their full attention regardless of the amount of people in the store. I did in fact go to other dress stores and none of the customer service came close to Davids Bridal. There are styles and colors for every body type and preference and they will make you feel beautiful with no judgement. Every time I go in they greet me by name the moment I walk through the doors. I do have a brides maid who lives out of state and there was an issue with her dress that needed to be fixed. The staff at the Eugene location are so amazing I called them for advice on what to do and they took care of everything. They called the store that is out of state for me and fixed the problem wihile also calling my brides maid who lives out of state. The staff here make it their mission to help you find your dream dress and everything that goes with it. They are full of great knowledge and tips with any questions you may have. You will not regret going to Davids Bridal and buying any dress for any occasion. Once everything is done with my wedding, I will be sending a. Thank you card and chocolates over to the store for the amazing employees and all their help. read more

I have had the most wonderful experience at this David's Bridal. I was a bit worried when I first came into the Eugene store because of the reviews I had read. I have no idea what these other reviewers are talking about! When I first came into this store I honestly had no idea what to expect. My family lives on the east coast so I came into the store on my own, which made me feel kind of lonely. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door by Karissa. I did not have an appointment but she told me it was no problem and that she would be able to get me in right away! Karissa was super sweet! (I think she could tell I was nervous) she helped explain what to expect from the appointment and really helped calm my nerves. She was super friendly and I she made me feel like we have known eachother forever! She then introduced me to my stylist Denae who was super bubbly and friendly as well! She was very attentive to my needs and listened very well to what I imagined for my dress. Karissa even checked in on my appointment to see how I was doing (she reminded me of my younger sister.). I was having so much fun and felt so comfortable. About halfway through my appointment the manager Christina came out and introduced herself. All three of these ladies brought so much joy to the appointment. When I found my dress I cried because I was so happy and even hugged Karissa. So just in case Karissa, Denae or Christina read this I just wanted to let you know that I am so thankful for all you ladies. You made that day so special for me. You are all wonderful, Thank you. read more

Two incredible ladies turned my experience around! It went from receiving rude service From an associate that would say anything to make the sale, To some amazing teamwork between two wonderful ladies. I had purchased a dress that I needed to either return or get credit for. When I called the Eugene store, one associate gave me a flat "all sales final." I didn't push the topic, so I thanked her for her time and hung up. I ended up going to David's Bridal in Beaverton, to buy another dress, & I thought to ask if i could sell them back my original dress. I considered a partial loss on it better than a complete loss. Not to mention the dress I now wanted was $250. Larissa, was super friendly, & helpful!! She told me they would give me a full credit for my original dress, since I had literally just purchased it! I was beyond happy to hear this! Larissa called Davids Bridal in Eugene to give them the opportunity to accept the exchange of my dress so that they Would still get credit for the sale. How amazing is she!?? Larissa took care of everything for me & I was so grateful! I get to the Eugene Store & am greeted by Karissa! Again, another amazing associate! She gets the dress that was on hold for me, she apologized for the miscommunication, & she makes sure I leave feeling like a valued client. I was so fortunate to have come across these two lovely ladies! They salvaged $150 for me & im so thankful! Thank you Larissa! Thank You Karissa! For everything you do, every day! Be blessed! read more

Seeing some of the reviews on here had made me a bit nervous for my appointment. We were running a little bit late, so my fiance's mother called in ahead to let them know we would be about 10 minutes late, and told me that the girl who answered was a bit rude to her. When we entered there was someone in front of us. Another girl was over near the registers, and did NOT want to communicate with customers, she walked away as soon as anyone tried to approach her general area. But that far less important to me then anything else. Because we had Isabel. Isabel greeted us as soon as she was alerted to our being in the store. I found out near the end of our appointment that she had been juggling four brides at once, but I would never have known if I hadn't heard a co-worker talking to her about it. She asked us good questions, helped us find some options after we browsed for a bit, and was all laughs and smiles. I was a bit disappointed that the dress I had seen online was definitely not The One, but then she had me try on the dress she said was her favorite, that she had everyone try on, and I knew that was it. The veil she brought over complemented it perfectly, and she helped me find shoes that I would be comfortable in as well. She made it a wonderful day for me, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. I would highly recommend her, and the company should feel lucky to have her working for them! We hope to see her again when we return for alterations and bridesmaid dresses. read more

I had a wonderful experience shooping for my up coming wedding here! We were greeted cheerily buy the hostess. When our consultant came fore us ( Jordan) she was so sweet and cheery! I walked in with a rough idea of what I thought I nudge want but still very unsure and nervous. She calmed my nerves and had no problems pulling a dress if every style for me to try and see what I looked best in. I told her what I did and didn't like about every dress and she came back with something better every time until I finally found my dress! I loved just chatting with her while in the dressing room, she really put me at ease. At one point I was in a trumpet style gown and I hear a voice behind me saying what a beautiful shape I had, rurns out she was the floor manager out and about wandering the busy store (christina). She was also super helpful! Giving me ideas and tips, jumping in and helping when Jordan was browsing or helping another bride and complimenting me in h the fits of my ultimate pick. I left feeling confident in myself as well as my pick in my wedding gown. I felt very attended too, like they really listened and cared what I wanted while staying within my budget or well below, I can't say enough good things! I will definatly be back with my wedding parties for their dresses! My one and only complaint is that I had to share my area with two other brides and at times it for a bit crowded. But like I've said, I was never overt looked and the girls were super attentive! read more

I went wedding dress shopping Saturday June 8th for the first time and had the most amazing experience. I was immediately helped and greeted when I walked in. Part of my party and I were early and was told we could start looking through the dresses and pulling ones out that I wanted to try on. One of the ladies who greeted us was super sweet and took pictures of myself and the part of our group that was there early. I had a large group of people with me and was told when I called a head of time that the Saturday I was booked was very busy and they could only guarantee a couple of chairs per appointment but when I was brought back to my area they had enough chairs for my whole party. Kelsie was the consultant helping me and I can't rave about her enough she was absolutely fabulous! She had the best energy, listened to what I wanted while also taking in to consideration what my group was suggesting as well. Although I was super excited to be dress shopping I was nervous that nothing would fit right or that I wouldn't look good in any of the dresses and she completely calmed my nerves and made it the most awesome experience for me. I didn't feel rushed, dresses weren't picked over my price range and she really just helped me soak in the entire experience. I found my dream wedding dress and Kelsie played a huge role in helping me on my wedding dress journey! read more

I JUST got off the phone with Carisa from Davids Bridal and WOW!!! I have this half jaw drop half huge goofy grin on my face because she just saved my toosh!! First of all, she was amazing to talk to!! Super bubbly, super understanding of our situation, very helpful, and kind. If you have ANY trouble with ordering online I promise you --- CALL INSTEAD and ASK FOR CARISA!!! I personally had a horrrrrible bridesmaids dress drama for my own wedding and turned to Davids Bridal and they worked magic for me, so this is not their first time pulling out all the stops for a bride! Anyways, long story short, all the dresses my friend (the bride to be) liked for me said they wouldn't delivery til AFTER her wedding date - only after calling Carisa were we saved by the bell! Not only did Carisa order the dress for me (the right size and color) but she was able to make sure it would ship well before my friends wedding date!!! I am so very shocked and pleased and THANKFUL for her help in all of this. It was getting stressful trying to manage it all on our own and I hate that feeling of stressing out the bride...so it was well worth the call!! Seriously, much thanks Carisa!!! I never used YELP before and just joined now so I could give you a shout out because you seriously saved my bacon! =D =D =D BIG HUGS!!! Lizzie from Bend, OR read more

I drove from Bend to Eugene to be able to try on the bridesmaid's dress my friend picked out before I ordered it. I was greeted at the counter and asked what I was in for. They looked up the details of the dress in the computer and assigned me to a stylist. I did have to wait a few minutes, but it was a busy Saturday and I didn't have an appointment, so I expected as much. Jeanine was friendly, pulled the dress I needed in a few different sizes, showed me to my room, and then didn't hover (which I appreciated!). I quickly found the size that worked best and went out to purchase my dress. As it turns out, this dress takes 20 weeks to be made, and the wedding is 12 weeks away. Just as I started to panic, Ciarra stepped in and saved the day! I had asked if this dress existed in my size at any other David's Bridal location. Ciarra found it at 2 different locations and got on the phone to try and secure one. Long story short, after an hour of being on the phone, Ciarra found the only dress left in my size, which happened to be in a store in Arizona, and helped me order it over the phone. Without her persistence, I would have had to order the next size up and spend a pretty penny getting the entire dress taken in. I am beyond grateful for the hard work she put in to get me the dress I needed. read more

I had been to other bridal stores before finally setting up an appointment at Davids Bridal. I had done this intentionally with the fear that I would be pushed to buy something way over my budget. My fears were progressively gone away with once I stepped through their front doors. The ladies immediately welcomed me and had me meet my consultant. I highly recommend setting up an appointment like I did and if possible, setting it up with Isabel because she made the experience a positive and memorable one. After having tried a good amount of wedding gowns at other places I had kind of lost a sense of what I was looking for and I felt as if I was running out of options. Yet, Isabel with her friendly, positive and upbeat approach enabled me to find THE dress (as well as, WITHIN my budget!). And I have to point out the fact that I was her last scheduled appointment of the day. Her mood could have been lesser than upbeat by the time I opted to come in. So, I really appreciated how patient she was towards me as I tried one dress after another until I finally walked out of there with my beautiful wedding dress! I couldn't have done it without her knowledge of wedding gowns and special attention to detail. Overall, I have to give my customer service experience a 5 star rating. read more

David's Bridal is a great resource for brides on a budget. Going in, you know you won't be looking at designer dresses - so if you are expecting Oscar de la Renta fabric/construction, you won't be happy. However, I felt the dresses were made well and fit beautifully. I went in to purchase a dress for my summer reception, which is a couple weeks after my actual wedding. I had already purchased a wedding dress but it was too formal for this reception. Jessica was my consultant and she was absolutely amazing! She made the whole experience fun and made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. Since I was only looking for a reception dress (read: low budget), I didn't anticipate a full "bridal experience." However, while I was there, Jessica made me feel more "bridal" than I had at the upscale boutiques in California. I ended up trying on more than 10 dresses over a 2 and 1/2 hour span and she never made me feel rushed or pressured to buy. I ended up purchasing a dress that she picked for me. She was able to find dresses that matched my style and looked great on my body type. Overall: for those on a budget who still want that "bridal experience", I highly recommend making an appointment with Jessica at David's Bridal! read more

So I walked into David's Bridal with my mom just to browse around (I had scheduled a day of dress shopping with an entire entourage for a few weeks later) and check out prices and styles. They immediately got me set up with their stylist, Todd. And I couldn't help but try on! I had a specific style of what I wanted but as I began trying on, I realized that style didn't flatter me. Todd brought me a variety of gowns and helped me really find something figure flattering for me. I was so shocked to find that a fit and flare worked for me and would have never went that route if it wasn't for Todd! First of all, he was an absolute joy to be around and made me feel comfortable right off the bat. Secondly, he helped me find the perfect dress and vail to match. I had no intentions of going in and purchasing a dress that day but I couldn't help myself. I'm so glad to have had Todd helping me that day. He is seriously a rockstar. (Also Ciarra the CSR helped me tremendously with letting me come back the next day so my twin sister could be apart of that moment. That was huge.) Thanks again for being such a pleasant experience! read more

Kristi. Was. The best! I first took my daughter to David's Bridal in Happy Valley (Portland area) and had a horrible experience. I can't remember the woman's name who "helped" us, but she was awful. She wouldn't let me or the maid of honor help my daughter try on dresses (WTH?), she was pushy and rude and clearly angry that we didn't buy a dress that day. I swore we would not go back and give her any sale. I was DREADING going to David's again, as was my daughter. Then we met Kristi. What a delight! She let me and the maid of honor help my daughter try on dresses, she wasn't pushy at all, she asked all the right questions, and best of all, when I told her our budget, she didn't choose all dresses that were at that price, she actually wanted to find the right dress for my daughter. The three of us had a total blast with Kristi and she actually ended up choosing "the one" because not only is she sweet and friendly, she knows what she's doing. Thank you Kristi, SO MUCH, for making this a wonderful part of my daughter's whole wedding experience. You could teach that woman in Happy Valley a thing or three! read more

I had a great experience shopping for my wedding dress at David's. I had visited another boutique in Eugene prior to visiting David's and left there feeling like I wouldn't be able to find my dream dress in my price range. I was nervous going in dress shopping after that first experience, but the ladies at David's made it such an enjoyable experience. My consultant, Kylee was awesome. She listened to what I was looking for and brought several dresses that fit the general idea and my price range. It only took a couple dresses to find my wedding dress, and I believe it's because of Kylee's knowledge of their products. Jen, the manager, was so great to work with as well. She was honest and very thoughtful in all our visits to David's We ended up buying all the bridesmaids dresses, the flower girl's dress, and my mom's dress, at David's. Everyone we dealt with at David's was always very professional and expressed genuine interest in how everything was going during the wedding planning. I recommend David's to anyone that is looking for a special dress-buying experience. read more

I am "best man" in my friend's upcoming wedding. The bride/boss told me since I'm a girl, I could wear what her bridesmaids were wearing. I was told to go to David's Bridal and select any dress I wanted as long as it was Marine Blue. When I arrived for my appointment (which I highly recommend making an appointment before hand- they can be VERY busy) I was paired with Jaclyn, one of the customer service rep gurus. I picked several dresses to try on, and all of them dismal choices. Being the expert, she helped me find the right dress for my body type. Who knows how long I could have been there trying things on?! She also was able to secure my dress in time for the wedding which is in less than 8 weeks, another minor miracle Jaclyn performed which only added to my admiration of her awesome skills! Did I mention she was also helping at least 3 others at the same time? And I never felt like I was being ignored or having to wait for her to get back to me. All in all, my experience there was one that was positive. I would recommend them for anyone tying the knot. read more

I was so impressed by the level of service that we received. This team went out of their way to make my sister's special day happen, just the way she imagined it. Our stylist, Kelsie, helped all six of us girls to find what we needed, and catered to each of us with a sweet and professional disposition. My sister's bridal party changed last minute, and because of this we had some last minute dress orders. At first it looked like it wasn't going to happen. Nothing was showing as available. However, our wonderful stylist Kelsie connected us with the on staff CSR, Karissa. Karissa immediately got on the phone, calling back and forth between warehouses, trying to find our dresses in the sizes and colors we needed. She made the impossible happen. I swear that girl has a gift. Not only did we get our dresses in on time, but with time to spare, which allowed us to schedule the alterations we needed as well. Needless to say I could not have been more thrilled. Thank you all so much for helping to make my sisters special day happen! read more

One evening, my mother and I decided to stop by to look at wedding dresses. Since my boyfriend and I have been talking about our wedding for months, we thought we would start checking out some options. We had just planned on looking but two friendly stylists, Samantha and Christina, helped us. Soon I ended up trying on a few dresses, one of which I fell in love with. Let me make this clear: these girls were not just stylists, they were fairy godmothers! They shared stories of their experiences and were so incredibly helpful! I tried on 3 dresses in the Oleg Cassini line, a line that any girl who loves timeless fashion would dream of wearing on her wedding day! So long story short, I found my wedding gown!!! Now, just waiting on the ring! Thank you so much Samantha and Christina for being such an amazing duo! We appreciate your kindness and helpfulness. We are crossing our fingers that we will be making a real appointment in the near future and will request to be blessed with you two girls again! See you soon! read more

I came in with my mom and sister, having absolutely little to no idea of what my dress size was or what kind of dress would look nice on me. All it took was for Kelsie (my stylist), to look at some photos of dresses that I liked the look of and she instantly found me a dress that I not only loved but could alter to just what I wanted (I wanted a burgundy wedding dress, but lamented to her that I might have to try my hand at dying one and she suggested putting a layer of burgundy chiffon under the top layer of lace; it was the PERFECT solution). She was really into the idea, and even found a sample piece of burgundy cloth to try it out. For each dress she asked me what I liked about each one, and built on top of that. She was patient with our questions, super hands on, excitable, and really wanted to help me; and I appreciated it so much. She made bridal appointment absolutely perfect and would suggest anyone else to ask for her. 10/10 Thank you again, Aleta read more
