Drove 87 miles one way to purchase a suit. Bought a suit but had to pay $6 for them to ship pants to their store from another store (really?). About 10 days later they phoned me and left me a message that the pants were ready for me to pick up. Drove 87 miles one way to pick up the pants. When I arrived at the store they told me the pants had to be sent to the tailor. Why the buttons were not sewn on the week they sat in the store I do not know. I told them they must pay me for my time and gas to drive to the store and back and they needed to deliver the pants to my house. They looked at me like I was a dumb ass so I increased my volume and got into their grill. Another sales associate said they could put the buttons on in 30 minutes and asked me to go buy a coffee (I don't drink coffee). Back in my younger days Men's Warehouse was great place to shop. The sales persons treated you like royalty and the tailors were in store and professional. This will be my last transaction with Men's Warehouse. They are a bunch of dumb **ses. read more

Today I purchased blazer and two button down shirts from Men's Warehouse. The Salesman's name was Nathan and he was very knowledgeable and his customer service was outstanding. He guided to the perfect American made blazer that fit both my size and the requirements that the blazer is needed for. He also referred me to two high quality button down shirts that go amazingly with the blazer. I will definitely be returning to Men's Warehouse in the future and I will definitely be calling ahead to schedule an appointment with Nathan. I came to this store Sunday afternoon 11/9/25 I was looking at different suits when Sandy approached me and asked if I needed help. Sandy was excellent. She helped me pick out a suit she explained how it should fit. I retired last year and tossed out all of my old suits and sports jackets. Living on the Oregon coast I no need for "dress up" clothes. That is until my niece's wedding last August. I went to the Men's Wearhouse in Salem and figured I was in for an $800 new suit. I found out that I could rent a suit for a third of that! Well, considering I don't know the next time I will need a suit that was surely the way t go. I chose a nice suit and shoes to match. Amazingly, I was told that I could pick it up in Maryland where the wedding was to be held and not have to drag it on the plane!!! We just left and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We were immediately greeted and felt welcome to look around, try on and felt comfortable asking for advice and input. My husband tried on everything from slacks, jackets, shirts and shoes. We didn't feel rushed and my husband who is not a suit wearer felt comfortable, joking and asking questions about proper fit. The atmosphere was relaxed and everyone was pitching in, cleaning up after us, pointing us in the right areas to look, joking and then doing the measurements for alterations. We are from out of state and decided to come to this location while in the area and decided to have everything done at this location and be back up in a month or so to try on and finish things up. Before the June event we are attending back home. The day wasn't cheap but you get what you pay for. Slacks,jacket, two shirts all tailored, shoes, belt and tie got us a 50.00 credit to use next time we are in town pick up the suite from alterations. Highly recommend and can't thank them enough for their patience and assistance! Great music to shop to as well!!! read more

I've had need of Men's Warehouse's services a few times over the past several months. Initially, I went in with ky groomsmen to get set up for my wedding. I had pictures of the wedding colors, but my wife was letting me go with whatever style I wanted. It wasn't that busy that Saturday and a younger gentleman who wore a vest helped us. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Suggested options that would pair together and found us all what we needed. I ended up buying a complete suit and my groomsmen bought some pieces and rented the rest. It took a while to try different things and we were there about 2 hours. We were all going to come back to pick things up. A month or so later I came in with my 16 year old. It was much busier that Sunday. We had to wait about 40 minutes to be helped, but there were several employees giving each customer a due amount of time. When it was our turn, I asked if they could look up my wedding party so we could get the same suit/colors for my son as my groomsmen had. They couldn't find me. We even talked to the guy who initially helped us and no dice. He went looking through boxes in the back and in the very last one they finally found the info. That took about 25 minutes. Since I had purchased my ensemble, the wedding party's name was one of my groomsmen and that is why it couldn't be found. I was able to try on the modifications and get my suit. To help my son, the relatively new kid that started with us brought over an older woman. She was very knowledgeable and without measurement grabbed the perfect sized jacket for my son. She seemed a little miffed we didn't buy dress pants from her, but we already had them and just needed the jacket, shirt, and tie. We got what we needed eventually. Most recently my son and I went in again for a different colored shirt. He wanted one a slightly larger size so he could move easier. It was very busy again, but we were helped within 10 minutes. The young woman who helped us got measurements and we tried on a few shirts, but they didn't have the size and style in stock we needed. We had to go elsewhere to find the right size, but it is prom season, so understandly they were low on stock and busy. I would absolutely choose this location if I need something else for my suit. Just plan on having to wait to be helped; they get busy and you have to wait your turn. read more

What a joke. This location is the absolute worst. They're only getting our business because of the corporate website. We made an appointment 3 weeks ago & the tux employee was not in, so we were met with a man who did not know what he was talking about, he informed us that he did not know anything. We called & left MANY messages & no response. Finally my husband got an appointment today to only be totally ripped off on pricing. Website saves us $60 per groomsmen!! DO NOT GO IN! My husband and I drove 180 miles to go to the Eugene's Men's Wearhouse (Oregon), because of a previous good experience there several years ago. We had a lot of trepidation because we were on a tight timeline and my husband is hard to fit. As soon as we entered we were enthusiastically greeted by Zak Guthrie. We explained our dilemma, and he assured us he could help us. He showed us our options and helped us problem solve when we came up against a roadblock. We were joined by Sandra Bryan to take measurements. She obviously has been doing this for a long time, as her eye was even quicker than her tape measure, and she was able to come up with some solutions which were most helpful. We really had the feeling this was a positive 'team' effort. I cannot say enough about these two great employees and our experience at the Eugene Men's Warehouse. read more

Without a doubt, this is the worst Men's Wearhouse I have ever been to. Would have given 1 star, if not for the tailor acknowledging how ridiculous this store is. I've come into store 4 times, and each time was the same as the last. Employees generally don't greet, they say things like "what do you need?" after having ignored your existence for 10 minutes while they do tasks around the store. On my 3rd visit, I needed to have a suit tailored. I brought in a *brand new* - *tags still on* suit, and as a woodworker I brushed against it bringing it into the store and got a smidge of sawdust on it. The employee informed me that "idk man, the tailors are gonna say they won't work on a suit this dirty, you need to get it cleaned before we do anything. I'm not calling you a liar, but this suit is worn. A lot." I tape-removed the dust, and they still said "nah it's gotta be better than that." I went to a dry cleaner 1 mile away, who laughed, lint rolled it, and said "this is a brand new suit. Tell them to stop being babies". He printed me a receipt, I took it back to mens wearhouse, and the employee said "if you didn't hav a receipt from the cleaners I'd not accept this." I then waited 45 mins for the tailor, who called the employee an idiot & new employee who knows absolutely nothing. last night, I called to confirm that the suit was tailored and ready for pickup. They said it was. Today, I went in to pick it up 15 mins after open. They had to look for it for 15 mins, then sent me on my way, no worries. that said, their initial complaint of dirtiness resulted in them making me get a garment protector. THEY DIDNT GIVE ME A GARMENT PROTECTOR BACK WHEN I PICKED IT UP. "Yeah we're out of those" was the response I was given when I pointed out that I dropped it off with one, so where is mine? i hate this place, its just such a frustrating environment generally, from a lot of the younger & newer employees. why is there not more management? why is there not more customer service orientation? Hi there! My Name is Devin and I am 29 years old and getting married in a couple weeks. I've never put on a suit before so I'm not very educated in the whole process but I can tell you I didn't have a good experience or like the way I looked at all. The options they had available were limited and most things were out of stock of course. I ended up picking out a suit to be ordered. It cost nearly $800 and let me tell you it was not worth it at all. The suit was big and blocky despite being messured by a so called expert DeLar or something like that. It was a young guy. And when I came in for my fitting it was with another lady and informed me was not givin to her on my shirt size and what not and she was picking up where he left off and did my final measurements. When I came in for my final fitting I don't think I looked good at all and so even asked the DeLar if it looked right and he said yes but I feel like everyone just kinda nods there head and tells you everything looks great and leaves it up to you to correct them but in my case I didn't know what they could do but I definitely didn't like the way I looked and am feeling pretty bummed about the whole process. If it were up to me I wish I could just give the suit back and start fresh somewhere new with people that show more care to detail. I have bought a lot of suits and clothes at various Men's Warehouses. I'll steer clear. The last straw was at this store. Looks like people have complained about not being greeted upon entry. I was greeted too much. I just wanted to browse. Instead three different salesmen approached me and did not seem happy with my "I'm just looking" reply. I was indeed just looking. And so were they. At me while I shopped. And at other customers. I never understood the psychology of staring at customers especially after they have indicated that they want to be left alone. I also think the clothing is overpriced. And the sales people always push more accessories and clothes than I intended. I get it. They're sales people. I'll be glad not to be around them. read more

My fiancé went into this store to pick up his suit for our wedding this weekend and was met with terrible customer service. Upon arriving, he changed into his suit and immediately noticed that the button up shirt was too large for his frame and bunched up under the jacket. When he brought this up with the male employee, he was told that he "didn't think any smaller size would fit him" and was not even given a second shirt just to try on. When my fiancé also pointed out that the pants were long enough to crease against his shoes, the employee brushed it off and then proceeded to pack up the ill-fitted suit for him to take home. The annoying part is that my fiancé has been fitted at and rented from this SAME Men's Warehouse in the past year, and had no problem getting a suit that fit him well. I don't think this store itself is the problem, but rather, the employee who refused to properly do his job is the problem. We're returning to the store tomorrow to ask for a second undershirt and better pants, but as of now, we're disappointed with the service here. read more

Great service until I had to deal with the shipping process. I ordered a pair of pants in my size and didn't receive a call when they came in before a wedding. I wasnt able to have my pants sized in a timely manner due to the poor communication on their part. Once they finally started working on my pants to be hemmed/tailored, the man left the chalk on it. I wanted a bespoke suit to get married in. This was the only option I thought I had in Eugene, so I gave it a try. I got measured for what they call "custom", which is simply a small set of adjustments they make to stock clothing; the order form had just seven measurements written down. The price was $1,395 for their highest quality fabric, a super 130. The salesman also tried upselling me on every optional feature, like functional buttons and extra pockets. After an hour of internet research and one phone call, I found Ken Daswani, a tailor based out of Portland who came to my house and measured 24 different dimensions of my body for making a paper pattern. Then I picked a super 150 fabric (two tiers of quality higher than MW's max) from his much larger selection, also picked a really poppin' liner fabric (this choice is not available from MW) and all of that for less than $1100. There was no upsell at all; Ken was extremely helpful in selecting both fabrics and suit options. In other words, I went somewhere else and I got a much better product, with much better service, for much less money. read more

Grandson's wedding coming up in fourteen days and my old suit is too small for my geriatric weight. I checked Macy's for suits but slim fit is their focus. H & M claim to have suits, but cheapest looking I have ever seen. So with expectation of poor service I arrived at Men's Warehouse in Valley River Center, Eugene, Oregon. I looked at suit jackets for perhaps three minutes before Simon asked if I wanted help or was browsing now. I informed Simon my prior 40 R was sadly not up to my portly self. He directed me to Executive fit suit jackets. Love that marketing label for fat, portly, stump, dumpy condition. Simon helped mark pants for tailors then assisted with tie and shirt matches. other customers were being helped and seemed happy as well. I remarked about bad reviews and he said he has worked here for a couple years and knows they got ride of a couple prior employees with poor performance. All I can say is I experienced excellent sales help that struck a great balance between helpful without pressure. read more

Went there to get a suit tailored for my sister's wedding, and they told me they would have it done on time. When I went to pick it up on the day they told me they would have it ready by, they inform me that it will not actually be ready FOR ANOTHER MONTH and that it will not be ready in time. I had to scramble to find someone else who could tailor my suit in 24 hrs so that I wouldn't look like a total idiot at my only sister's wedding. I don't like to give out too many one stars to places, and this is for the service my son, his girlfriend, and I received today or should I say lack of service. Upon walking in we were not greeted, just looked at and all of us just got that sense that I'm sure Julia Roberts character felt upon walking into the stores in Rodeo Drive and they were snooty to her, like they could not afford anything in the store....well that is how all three of us felt. We were told by the older woman that we could possibly rent what we were looking for but it might be too late! Thank goodness for us Men's Warehouse was our last stop and we already really found what we wanted else where and took our business somewhere where we were not made to feel like we were bothering them or beneath them! I don't think I would recommend this place to anyone unless you think your high and mighty also! read more

It didn't take much more than 10 minutes for him to find just what I needed and at a price that was well within my budget. I was not very satisfied with my experience at this location. When I initially walked in I was greeted by a young associate who seemed really nice. I told him what I needed and he took me to an area and started asking me questions about my style. I tried on a couple of sport coats and everything was going well until a much older associate came over and tried to take over. The older associate was very pushy and wouldn't listen to my needs. He showed me suits I already saw, and took me to areas that were out of my budget. He repeated himself several times and talked over me. For some reason he has me trying shoes even though I said I didn't need any. The manager also seemed a little rude, I had a couple questions for him and he got defensive but answered my question. The alteration staff however was much more helpful and friendly. They are the only reason I gave this place two stars instead of one. Would not recommend these guys and am still looking for a good place to get a suit. read more

After purchasing a "custom" order suit, my husband went to try it on and it didn't fit. The pants were falling off of him and he was swimming in the jacket with two different length sleeves. You call this custom? When we went back for him to try on the suit after alterations, they couldn't find it. I was asked by an employee named Hunter, who wasn't able to locate our $1620 custom order suit, if I wanted to go in the back and go through the racks and look for myself, after I showed concern with him for not being able to locate it. I informed him I wasn't an employee and he needed to do his job. According to Hunter, he was unable to even look up the order in the computer or find the original paperwork to see the details so he knew what he was looking for. I tried to pull him to the side, as I was loosing my patience, to explain to him what the suit looks like and the severity of the situation(it's for our daughters wedding) he told me we can speak about it out on the floor. His cocky arrogance was disgusting. He didn't want to deal with me or the situation and it was apparent. If you aren't able to handle a customer, who has every right to be pissed, you have no business working in retail. He and two other employees continued to walk around the store clueless and just kept saying "I have no idea where it is." They called the manager and he advised them where he last placed it. They still couldn't locate it. The manager, Mark, called and said that he would be down in 15 minutes to look for himself. He came in and couldn't find the suit either. He advised us that he was doing his best to locate it. After them going through their inventory the suit was still no where to be found. He proceeded to tell us we could pick something off the rack so my husband could at least have a suit for our daughters wedding on Saturday, mind you it was the Monday prior. In the midst of him pulling things from the rack, one of the employees managed to locate the suits whereabouts. They shipped it to another location even though he hadn't even tried it on after alterations and that wasn't the plan. So the previous communications to not ship the suit were disregarded. And to help the situation out more, the employee who entered the shipment used the Bend store Fed Ex code so the Eugene store didn't catch it when they initially looked it up. We left the store with a tracking number and the other stores information. We arrived in Virginia and thankfully so did the suit. I contacted Mark the store manager to let him know and that I would expect some sort of discount when I returned home. Needless to say I didn't get the discount and was mailed 4-$50 coupons to come back and spend at their store. Hard pass. I won't be back and hopefully this review spares you the nightmare. read more

I walked into this store totally stressed out. I have never bought a suit before and this is for my Daughters wedding. I went to 2 other stores first and what a mistake! The first place had a guy working the men's department wearing dress shoes with no socks, jean shorts with a T-shirt and a sports coat... right away I was done with this store. The second store had fair prices but again everything sold separately no suits. I was so frustrated I wanted to scream at someone. I walked into The Men's Wearhouse and was immediately greeted by Tim. He introduced himself and shook my hand like a gentleman, asked me a few questions like the occasion, rent or buy and what color I had in mind. Next thing I know I was trying on coats and talking like buddies. He was very helpful in answering my questions. I did not feel pressured to upgrade I was not rushed in any way. Tim helped me make correct choices and explained a couple of reasons why he wouldn't recommend a few things. everything was low stress no pressure sales. long story short I walked out feeling super good about my suit. The color, the vest, the tailoring to fit, correct sleeve length even down to the choice of the shirt and tie! when I returned to get my suit they were again very helpful. I am completely satisfied with every aspect of this experience If you have never bought a suit before I would recommend shopping here first read more

Men's Warehouse is one of few places in Eugene/Springfield that will tailor mens clothing. They are also (obviously) a chain. So when I went in last year to have an overcoat's sleeves shortened, I had never had any tailoring experiences to drawn on, and thought that they did a reasonable job. It didn't cost too much and the sleeves fit correctly. This last spring, after losing a bunch of weight, I took in a suit vest that needed to be altered to test whether or not their work would be satisfactory for something other than a coat, and to see whether or not I could take some other items there as well. Well, a week later I walked in to get the vest back, and while it did fit, the stitching was completely visible on one of the seams, and went all the way through the back of the vest and the interior lining. When I confronted the salesman about it, his excuse was "well, these really aren't made to be taken apart once they leave the factory." A conflicting excuse was that they were "trying to keep costs down," which I took to mean that they were able to take it apart fine, but put it back together as quickly as possible. In any case, I had them redo it while I waited in the lobby. How do you keep costs down when the job costs $10, you do all the work, and then have to redo half of the work later for free? Fast forward to October and I took two more vests to them because I had bought it in that area and was already there. This time when I picked them up, I looked very closely at the seams, and one of the vests was fine. The other had one seam that had the exact same problem of stitching going all the way through the fabric instead of being hidden. Once again I made them redo it, but this time I got more information: apparently Men's Warehouse outsources most of their tailoring to a third party! They do have tailors on-site (who may or may not do a better job) that I'm guessing handle rush alterations. Either way, they give the false impression that they will be the ones handling your garment. So yes, they are trying to keep costs down. I'm sure they get a lot of business and so outsourcing makes sense. But when we're talking pieces of a professional wardrobe that are usually quite expensive, I'd appreciate it if they would do the job right. As I said, how do the come out ahead if they send things out and have to pay that 3rd party, then have to redo the job when a customer notices problems and complains? Either way, I will most definitely not be shopping there again, and I'm happy to say I've found an independent tailor in the 5th Street Market shopping center who does a much better job for about the same price. read more

I am not sure what changed at this place. Ownership or management perhaps? 12 years ago, I bought two suits on the buy one get one sale. Good experience, got almost exactly what I wanted.. close enough. 2 years ago, I went in to get a couple suits on the same buy one get one. I was very specific in what I was looking for and constantly directed to things I did not ask for. The first suit and shirt.. fantastic. Then despite my objections was consistently pointed to suits I was not interested in and did not hang right on me. My shirts needed to be ordered, and the second one was not what I asked for and somehow despite being the same size and brand, does not fit well at all. I was told my suits would be ready in a week, they were not. One was, but the shirts were not there. I had to borrow one. then a full month later, I went in for the second suit, and they could not find the trousers and pulled another pair out from the back that were not right. Despite my updating my phone number they have never called me to tell me my second suit was done. It is 2 years later and I still do not have my second suit and have never gone back. I am troubled that the ownership and management of this place now thinks so little of their customer base, I am not sure it is worth dropping in to try to get what belongs to me. read more
