I've had alterations done here before and they went well. I brought some garments in a few weeks ago for some simple mending and was given a pickup time and date. I was told it'd be a longer wait than usual because it was wedding season (which idk if it even is anymore but okay) and i said okay. I called on that original pickup date and said i couldnt pick up my items until 2 days later (today as I'm writing this) and spoke to Natalia herself who said absolutely, pick them up on Saturday and we confirmed the date. I show up today and after they spent 5-10 minutes locating my items which they completely misplaced, she brings them out in the original bag still and COMPLETELY UNTOUCHED. and tried to blame me saying i was told it was wedding season and that I'd be called when the items were ready, which i genuinely dont remember. I just remember the PICKUP DATE AND TIME I WAS GIVEN and the CALL I HAD HAD TWO DAYS EARLIER WHERE SHE TOLD ME TO PICK UP MY ITEMS THEN and happened to not mentioned that they hadn't touched any of my items and they wouldn't be ready by then. I was asked if i could wait another week but actually no they wouldn't be ready by then either because theyre closed for longer than usual. I ultimately took my items back and she gave me a half hearted sorry with a shrug and DID YOU KNOW IT'S WEDDING SEASON. Never coming back here and will try another place in town that hopefully spares me the condescending demeanor and complete lack of professionalism. read more

I heard Natalia was the best in town so I called to schedule an appointment with her to get my wedding dress altered. My wedding is in September, so they said I could not come in until July "because bodies change," which was fine. However I thought it was a bit strange, because my friend is getting married the day before me, and they had her come in in May. I also had to get my bridesmaid's dress for a friend's wedding altered in June, and when I went in, Natalia seemed very rushed and busy - which was also fine, I know she is in high demand... but then when I asked her to hem my dress a certain length, she argued with me and told me I shouldn't show my feet in pictures. I told her I didn't mind if my feet showed, because the other bridesmaids were wearing short dresses as well, but she insisted repeatedly that I did not want my feet showing. I told her I didn't want to trip on my dress, and asked her again for the length I wanted. She told me to call the bride and ask her, to which I responded I knew my friend very well, and that she just wanted me to be comfortable and wouldn't mind at all if my feet showed in pictures. She continued to argue with me and in the end, I exasperatedly said "whatever, do what you think is best." It wasn't a big enough deal for me to continue expending energy arguing with her. When I came in to pick up that dress, I was on my lunch break from work, so I didn't have much time and had forgotten my shoes. I asked Natalia if it was ok that I didn't have my shoes, and she gave me an angry look and said "No!" I said I was sorry and I'd just stand on my tiptoes, and she just huffed and rolled her eyes. I was quite eager to get out of there, her manner was extremely rude, and overall could have been much more pleasant if she was just a tad nicer and listened better. I found an alternate seamstress (Rosie Miranda) who was incredibly kind, charged me much less, listened to what I wanted, and fixed my wedding dress perfectly in less than a week. I called Natalia's and cancelled my bridal appointment for July and shared my feedback with the assistant who answered the phone. Her response to the feedback was "good luck." I'm sure Natalia is great at what she does, but the fact that she wouldn't listen to what I wanted makes her a seamstress I will never go back to, in my book. read more

Her business is very busy so you have to be patient, but she will have the things finished by the time you need them. Overall, I liked the customer service vibe, they are quick, and kind. However, after 4 fittings I ended up bringing my wedding dress back the day before my wedding due to the top not actually being fitted how she promised. It was so loose!! A lady fixed it for me free of charge due to the inconvenience and the fact that it was supposed to be done already. She did it in just a couple hours thankfully cause I was in a hurry! I had spent $240 for my dress to be hemmed, straps shortened /tightened, and bustled. I paid for a 5 point bustle and was given only 3 points. Only an hour into being bustled the buttons were ripped off and I had to safety pin my dress up. Very inconvenient and didn't look good at all!! I was just walking around nothing crazy and have no idea how they didn't hold up?? I really had high hopes as they have many good reviews and tons of recommendations to go here. I'm very disappointed in the price I paid vs the end result lacking greatly. I can't say I'd suggest this place after my experience. I will add photos soon to show the work... some of my lace Appliqués were safety pinned on the bottom from her shortening my dress and were not properly sewn back on. The sew job on my straps were messy and there was a wad of extra thread on the seam line. Looked bulky and not clean. I'm very disappointed and wish I could get my money back as it was not worth the amount I paid. read more

Natalia's altered my wedding dress and my fiance's suit. They did an excellent job. Davids bridal closed right when my dress was needing to be altered and they got me right in. I made a mistake and had tried my dress on at my mom's with my veil a couple weeks before my fitting. I say it was a mistake because i had help trying on the dress and the veil. It was supposed to be at the bottom of the dress bag for me to have them steam it. One of my bridal party took it out of the bag and hung it up in hopes that it wouldn't be crinkled. When i looked in the bag at Natalia's when I was picking up the dress the veil was gone but the bag was there. They were very polite and they offered to replace the veil. As soon as I got to my mom's I realized my error and called them to back immediately to cancel the veil order and offered to come back in and pay for the discount they had given me. I explained my error and with having lost my son in a car wreck, planning a funeral and then the wedding all within a couple weeks of each other they were very understanding. I brought my wedding dress to Natalia for alterations. The dress was a couple of sizes too big and a bit too long. There was a lot of beading on the bust and hemline so that made the alterations tricky. I called around to all the other alteration shops in town but decided on Natalia given her experience and good reviews as well as her fast turnaround time and pricing. First off, I had no idea what to do with a wedding dress. I hadn't even planned on getting married in a traditional dress until I found THE DRESS on clearance at a fabulous boutique. My wedding was a whirlwind kind of thing which means I did not have a lot of time available. Needless to say, I was a stress bomb bride. Natalia had my dress ready in less than two weeks which was perfect since I only had about three weeks available to pull myself together. Natalia was helpful to a clueless bride. I didn't have anyone helping me, and I didn't read any bridal magazines beforehand. I was pretty dumb and intimidated by the whole wedding dress experience. I didn't know I had to bring my shoes and undergarments to all the fittings (3) so I had to make a few trips home for my fittings. She suggested a slip with the dress which I had not considered and needed. She was patient with me which was a relief. What I liked the most was that she didn't require set appointments. I called ahead and she always said to come anytime. I will admit that she intimidated me a bit with her accent. I didn't find anything she said to be rude, just intimidating. The price was a big concern for me. I was amazed at how much I was quoted for the alterations by other shops. My dress was $700 originally and I paid only $300 for it. When I was quoted more than that for the alterations, I was stunned. Natalia brought up the hem, brought in the waist and bust, added bra cups and a lovely bustle for $175 in less than two weeks. Natalia is a sweet, straight-forward, hard-working woman. I called in a few months before my wedding and asked when I could bring my dress in for some minor tweaks. I picked it up two weeks later, paid only $50, and she even made a last-minute change to the bustle when I couldn't figure out how to tie it up myself. She is brisk and very Russian, so she's definitely not going to coddle anyone or spend a long time chatting. After getting multiple recommendations from people I knew, I decided to take my wedding dress to Natalia a few months before my wedding to have her do the needed alterations. She looked at the dress, and recommended I come back one month before I needed it. I was leery at first but trusted her. Natalia was the best thing that could have happened to my wedding dress and me! Natalia knew immediately what needed to be done as soon as she saw me in my dress. She wasted no time getting pins at the correct length and other places that needed to be nipped in. I was a little hesitant to let her take in as much a she did, but man am I glad she convinced me! My dress fit like it was created for my body. In addition to all of the usual nips and tucks, I had another pretty big request. I have an 'ABC' blocks tattoo on my left shoulder blade, and my dress had a sheer lace beaded back. I asked if there was any way to hide it using a nude panel of fabric, because I didn't want tattoo make-up to get on the dress. I brought the fabric to her, and she and her assistant did a phenomenal job sewing out on to the back of my dress. It turned out beautifully. It looked like part of the design of the dress! And she did it all for an extremely reasonable price! In Houston (where my wedding was), it would have easily cost 3-4 times what I paid up here. I had a brand new, never worn dress altered for my birthday, and not even 1.5 hours into the event, my straps they had previously shortened completely broke off my dress.
