I have used them off and on and have always walked away with disbelief that they can stay in business considering how very, very rude they (the two owners) are. They are very short with customers. Never a smile, a greeting or a thank you. And I've noticed while waiting that the customer is always in the wrong. I have always gone out of my way to be polite and patient. I recently dropped an article of clothing off, got the same rude service, was taken aback at the cost and left unsatisfied. I returned the next day and retrieved my jacket without getting it dry cleaned. It took quite a while for them to understand that I was dissatisfied (Language barrier or just rude??). They literally threw the jacket at me. I'm done! I'll not go back there! They have a monopoly in their location now that Skopil's is no longer in business. Most unfortunate!! Hi Tech Cleaners overcharged us and was rude to us. 3 cotton plain men's shirts: $18.50 laundered, not dry cleaned. The charge for laundering the same shirts was $11.40 at ABC Cleaners. Also, they took six days to do the work. Hi Tech Cleaners has no competition in Southeast Eugene and is taking advantage of our community. read more

Nice family and great service. It appears they have regular clients and are always busy-but not too busy to help you. They trust us clients to drop off our clothes and come back and pay them. They charge so little for good work. I've had a feather down comfort I thought was ruined cleaned to perfection. They've cleaned a dog-pee stained rug and it smelled like... nothing. No sent, no stain-just a perfect jute rug. They are reliable and affordable. All around good people. read more

Hi-Tech Cleaners is definitely the place to go if you need anything dry cleaned! I'd say it is a pretty basic dry-cleaning place, but the service is great and you can get your items of clothes back as soon as possible. Not to mention, they won't give your clothes away if it takes you years to remember to pick them up! Additionally, this location is convenient - just right on 18th - next to Safeway so you can get some other errands done while you drop off or pick up your dry cleaning. We wanted to get 5 coats done and Somi (Song Mi? sorry for misspelling!!) went through each item explaining to us what she would be able to do, what she couldn't, and even taught us something new about fur coats! She also de-pilled a favorite, old and worn black coat BY HAND and it looked brand new when we got it back!! Joshua and Somi run a great business here. Why do I know their names? Because it's that good a business. I'm in a couple times a week with shirts for the laundry and I've really enjoyed getting to know this family. They take a personal interest in ensuring my laundry is done right. I wanted my cotton shirts laundered. The owner told me that he could not launder the shirts and that they could only be dry cleaned for $6.75 each. A sign in the window advertises "shirts laundered". I am new to the area but have never heard of a cleaners that would not laundry shirts. I have never had my shirts dry cleaned. Very confused! read more

Horrible experience-I do a lot of dry cleaning/pressing for my age, and I'll never go back even though they're super close and I have to drive a little further to get to Skopil's on coburg. They ruined my white button up shirt a few years ago, then refused responsibility. It came out with an obvious yellow stain on it that was definitely not there when I took it in. Agreed to reclean it despite insisting that it must've been there before..stain lightened but was still there. After going back and forth, the guy asked me what I wanted him to do-I told him buy me a new shirt, and he just lectured me on how long he'd been in business there. Agreed to reclean once more and stain did again lighten but it's a white dress shirt, and I haven't worn it since. read more

I had a light colored formal dress with lipstick, chocolate ice cream and pork sauce stains (this is why I don't have nice things). They were able to get all of the stains 100% out. I was floored and so thankful! Now I really can rewear my bridesmaids dress! read more

I dropped off my Air Force blues to be dry cleaned and they cut the epaulets off my blues. Handed them to me and yelled at me ways it was my fault. They charged me 30 for one uniform and took a week to do it when their door said same day service. Service was awful they were incredibly rude and ruined a dress blues uniform. They yelled at me saying it was my fault. Said oh my god it's not that big of a deal and eye rolled at me. They were so mean and sassy. Don't go here. They will over charge you and ruin your clothes. read more

Hi Tech is a wonderful local family business. We have worked with them for ten plus years and would give them six stars if we could.

I just dropped off one jacket to be cleaned at 3:00pm on a Friday. They won't have it ready until 4pm next Thursday and it will cost $23. I'm desperate to get it cleaned so I went ahead with the service but I'm appalled by the time it will take to clean it and the price for one item. I spent the last decade living in NYC where I had my clothing dry cleaned weekly. Never did I spend that much, nor did I have to wait that long. Let's just hope it's absolutely glowing when I pick it up! And I'll NEVER use this cleaners again. read more

so after calling to find out about their "Same Day" Dry cleaning. I found out that it is only true if you bring it in before 7am.. what BS.. even if I brought it in at 10am I would still have to wait until 4pm the following day to pick it up at the "Same Day" rate. BS read more

They and their family are quite delightful and I always take time for a quick chat when I stop in. They are supportive of the local community. I brought some pants here for replacement of a zipper by the person doing alterations. The zipper failed to stay together within a few weeks. The owner did some trick with her fingers that put it back together, and the zipper failed again. I came back again, only to have this scenario repeat. Only after the third time of asking to have the zipper replaced again or my money refunded did the owner admit that they did not know the reason for the zipper's failure, and yet still did not offer to either replace it or refund my money. However, she said if it failed one more time within the next two weeks, she would refund my money, which she did because sure enough, it failed. I have worked in retail myself, and repeat customers were always more valuable than the money lost in re-do's. This business does not have that policy, and in addition does not have the native english language to communicate adequately. I will not return. read more

Pushy and unfriendly staff "welcomed" me in. I had a dinner jacket that needed cleaning and he tried to charge me extra for the "stains". I told him I was unaware of what the marks were from but that they would wash out with water. He said I was wrong and insisted that they were stains. When I got a damp cloth and showed that it came out with water, he told me to "go clean it at home". I said I would happily pay him to do it instead, to which he insisted that he would need to charge me extra. I asked him if I went home to clean off the marks and bring the jacket back, would he be able to clean it then? To which he was clearly annoyed. He told me I should just clean it myself at home, looked the other way and said "Good luck" as he walked away from the counter. I was disappointed with the genuine ne lack of courtesy I experienced. read more

I just paid over $18 to get a coat back that looks almost as bad as when I dropped it off. I was told that my white wool coat wouldn't come clean which I was okay with. I knew that staining may be an issue. What I got was a white coat covered all over with very small black lint. The owner said that it was covered in hair (I have no animals) and that he cleaned it for "two hours". I took a brush, while standing there and made three strokes across it and it was coming off. The inside of the coat was worse. I am not unhappy about the stains, I was warned. I am extremely unhappy to pay almost $20 to have my coat cleaned and now I have to go home and brush it out. The worst part is that the owner tried to cover up their shoddy job by saying he worked on my coat for two hours. I hate being lied to. I made it look better in 3 seconds and I am sure that when I go home, I will get it clean in less that five minutes. He was not nice. I did knock over his plant by accident...to which I feel terrible about. How utterly frustrating! read more
