I couldn't believe when I walked in there was a row ofAdirondack chairs with cushions, foot rest, and desks in case you want to get some work done. The machines do a clean cycle between everyone's wash. First visit your soap with nontoxic fragrance, free detergent and the dryer are free. I haven't been to a laundromat in decades, but I blew it washing a large comforter at the home washing machine. So walked in with a soaking wet, heavy comforter. She led me to the right machine which even had a comforter setting! I wish I'd taken a photo of the folding tables -- so clean! -- and also the "cafe-like" setting kind of upstairs . . . read more

When I read a review that stated this was the cleanest laundromat, I wanted to see for myself. Not only is it the cleanest; it is just a very well thought out layout. Like most laundromats, Clean has a couple rows of machines in the center. HOWEVER, they built (adult only) seating above the machines on a loft area. The seating around the facility are cozy wooden Adirondack chairs. When you enter, you are greeted with a sign that asks "first time", go talk to the attendant. They give you the high lites; complimentary hypoallergenic soap, and other options to add. The machines are fast and efficient. Free driers. When it first opened, the products being used in the machines were reliably plant based but the attendants have stopped telling people not to use their regular, petroleum based products. Twice now I've gotten all my laundry home to find that there's fragrance in my clothes from the last person to use the washer. Today I spent the afternoon doing laundry, packed everything up, hauled it back to my place, unpacked it and found that there are synthetic chemicals from a 'fragrance-free' dryer sheet in all of my clothing. I just spent an entire afternoon and $30 doing laundry and I'm going to have to redo it all, just like the last time I was there. Don't expect the machines to be free from petroleum products or fragrance. read more

I was very impressed with this laundromat. I went there several times and each time it was clean, the staff was attentive, very nice and knowledgeable! I needed a laundromat to go to and found this one online. I thought it was really cool that they are all organic and value sustainability. They actually don't even allow dryer sheets or certain detergents like tide. They provide soap and better for the environment dryer balls there which is super nice. The washer was $7.50 (definitely pricey) and my dry was free because it was my first time there but normally it is 25 cents. Each machine only takes around 25 minutes so you're out of there in max an hour. The woman working there was really nice and helpful since it was my first time and she needed to go over some things with me. All the employees were really friendly. They have cozy chairs and a lounge area with greenery and tables to sit while you wait. They also have WiFi. Overall, this was one of the best laundromat experiences I have ever had compared to some of the others I have been to. It's expensive but honestly worth it when you're in a crunch and you're in and out super quickly. read more

When I went to clean laundromat, they insisted that I use there laundry soap supposing eco-friendly laundry soap. I told the girl that my clothes were extremely dirty and needed to use tide or something along that line she stated with the laundry soap they use was just as good if not better and eco-friendly. Well not only did it not get my clothes clean it , caused the dirt on my clothes to be set in when I ran them through the dryer and now they can't be cleaned at all $200 worth of ruined clothes WOW, then act as if I had done something wrong I just walked out not even work wasting my breath!!! read more

Thanks yelpers for this find. I am here for the track meet and needed to do laundry. One hour later a small load was done. Small wash $5.00 and first timers get a free dry. There are places to sit and tables if you want to spread out. It was clean and did not have a bad odor. Staff was present and helpful. read more

I am not a user of laundromats unless I have to. I have HUGE, expensive winter down bag which requires special treatment. I did a few checks and landed here. From the very start the onsite attendant was thorough, professional and, while a bit speedy, made sure that I knew exactly what to use (only plant-based products,check), only wool balls (they provide, to protect their dryers and your stuff) and bingo, drying was free for my first time. The machines are very modern, the place spotless and there were plenty of seats and wifi was free. The facility is safe and while yes, panhandlers are around, that's Eugene. I was delighted.Not at all what I expected, and I strongly recommend the place. For those complaining about the price increase, these are state of the are art machines, my bag was finished in a third of the expected time (wet down? yes), so the efficiency makes up for it. This is the best laundromat anywhere. I've been coming here weekly since it opened. I wish they would put up some solar shades though because the sun is beating down inside in the summer and fall because the windows are so tall. I always bring a hat or I'll get a sunburn just sitting inside. Especially when the sun is going down, the angle is blinding. It would be unpleasant to work here because of that, imo. This place was awesome until a few select workers started ignoring the HUGE amount of homeless people coming in to constantly use the bathroom and throw their wet clothing into the dryers. Today I asked the attendant working (around 130pm) why she would allow such behavior to which she completely denied any of it happening... as it was happening right in front of her. Ummmm... Other than that, the machines are top notch and most likely the best place around to do laundry. Sucks the workers have such blinders on all the time. The establishment is well manned and kept in tip top shape. They have new features I had never seen before such as buying a card with which to pay so you are not having to put 20 plus quarters in the machine. Because they want you to have the best experience they provide liquid detergent free of charge. They have dryer balls you can use with no charge. This laundry matt is AMAZEBALLS!!! First off it's so sanitary, the laundry machines sanitize after every load. Also the atmosphere in there is impeccable! There are plants everywhere which really adds to the clean feel. In addition you can't use your own laundry detergent/sheets, which keeps there machines in tip-top shape!
