First time for us to observe signs such as these a-n-y-w-h-e-r-e... Anyway... I did our laundry fully clothed beside a very friendly self proclaimed meth addict who was sorting thru his drugs and chatting gaily. I also brushed elbows with a seemingly nice chap who did not wash his clothes but unpacked a damp backpack to dry his items in the dryer. And sort thru his stuff. He shared that he was informally camping for the past few months. A man staggered in at some point to mumble and inquire about change. He was not interested in any laundering. No sink and no access to water. No tv. One trash can. No restroom. No attendant. Nice music. We wanted to try this place after discovering it on a walk but won't return. read more

Dirty run down and not g weed place it once was. Stopped by in Springfield anc wax dissapointed. Many machines broken and nothing is clean. No large capacity machines. Scary crowd there too. We walked out. read more

Kinda a weird place with only one washing machine for quilts and heavier stuff and I will never go back there again because most of the washers and dryers were out of service. It makes me grateful that I have my own washer and dryer and I don't have to go to these places frequently read more

This quaint (& colorful!) little laundromat offers an interesting and enjoyable atmosphere for cleaning your dirties. From the outside it looks rather bland, seemingly indistinguishable from other related businesses. however, one step inside this little gem and it's hard not to notice its charms. The first among them is the jazz music playing in the background, which must be part of the theme, considering all the William P. Gottlieb posters featuring artists from a time long past. Miles Davis, Billie Holiday, Charlie Parker - all of them framed on the walls alongside black & white photos of Manhattan during the Jazz Age. Panning around and taking your focus off the artwork and you'll notice some other pleasant details. Aged tile flooring with worn character, multiple sitting areas accompanied by wooden stools, and of course the ever present change and detergent dispensers. The machines themselves are varied in size and styles. Front load, top load, tiny'ish, and gargantuan - for when those nasty comforters need to be cleaned (hopefully more then once every six months people!). This 'mat is also surrounded by a few convenient businesses to make your wait time more enjoyable. Albee's NY gyros is adjacent (and is amazing), as is a little grocery store, and even a liquor store! Not that I condone drinking while doing laundry, from my experience it almost always guarantees that I'll slack on my folding. Other notable mentions are a 24 hour surveillance system (because safety first!), a cute outside smoking area surrounded by bamboo plants, and a plethora of old reading materials. Honestly, this little shop instantly made it to my short list in regards to laundromats. Clean, quaint, and full of character, I would absolutely recommend checking it out and honoring it with your patronage. 4/5 stars. read more

This little laundromat is small and smells of delicious gyros (Albee's Gyros is right next door!). It's so small that when a couple machines don't work there aren't that many to choose from if other people are there washing their clothes. The place is clean and there is 2 hour street parking. I do have to say the music was on repeat of a few songs and got repetitive but otherwise this is a fine place to do laundry. The dryer I used wasn't the strongest and I only had one blanket in it. But what can you expect from a laundry mat? It got the job done! read more

I am not really in the business of reviewing laundromats, but i have been so happy with my experience here that i had to promote them! I don't often have need for these anymore, but there was a time that laundromatting was a regular activity and boy do i wish those had been like this! It is possible that i only ever managed to find s*** laundromats before, but for whatever reason, it it is the cleanest/most pleasant one i have been in. Bright and day-lit, well ventilated, with nice music playing and a pictures of jazz greats on the walls. A good variety of machine types with a couple of triple-loaders. They have the standard change machines and detergent-dispensers, but most importantly they have _free WiFi_. Super useful. So people: bring your laundry to this place! ps: there is a convenience store and a gyro place next door. read more

My stupid apartment complex only has ONE washer for 15 units, and it drove me so bonkers that I saved all my laundry until I ran out of clothes, then took a taxi here (since I don't drive) from three miles away. Why? Well, for one thing, there's plenty of washers, including industrial sized ones. The dryers are gigantic and easy to repeat until your clothes are actually DRY. Pro tip though: use the bottom ones if you're not tall, you might have to crawl in for a sock! There's a spot to sit, great jazz music playing, and super, super tasty food next door. There's a few carts and a table to fold and pack stuff up on and a spot for a taxi out front. I saved so much trouble doing my laundry this way for a few months until I bought a portable washer. For the time I went here, though, this place was great. read more

This place is super clean and so far all the customers have been very friendly. I'm pretty sure the industrial size washers are as big as my apartment. And there is a delicious gyros shop next door. This is by far the most pleasant laundry experience I have ever had. There are change machines provided and you can buy small soap packs at the store! read more

A couple good things about this place - the music selection is good and they have long hours. I waited until after my second trip to review this place to ensure that I had a little perspective. The first time around it took 45+ minutes to dry my clothes. Second time I had a small load, literally 4 shirts, 7 boxers, and 7 pairs of socks. After 30 minutes in the dryer on high they still weren't dry. So that's $1.25+ and over a half hour for a small load in the dryer and in my opinion that's too long and too expensive. I've only been once and it was soooo dirty and reaked of B.O. I was there for about an hour and in that short amount of time there was one arrest made just outside the door - the officer seemed to be familiar with the guy and kept it very low-key and unobtrusive. There were paper bags left inside two of the dryers I tried. Trash on the floor even though there's a large garbage container inside. Seems like my clothes got clean tho. I won't be back. read more

Minus the crackhead talking your ear off while you are trying to do laundry it is your standard coin laundry. Decent prices 1.75 for a wash, all of the machines are working (some cold water only), good street parking. Right next to sandwich shop and market, easy to grab a snack. Most of the issue here is due to an unfortunate location. It's not a place I feel super safe during the day and wouldn't go to after dark. Tried it 3 times just to give it the benefit of the doubt. Each time there were homeless people yelling at passersby or people in the the laundromat. There were people wandering in off the street begging for change. Lots of very odd/very drunk people coming in to do laundry too. People bringing their pets in with them also. The things that could be done better by the owner are the state of the place. 2 out of 3 times it was quite dirty. The same washers were still out of order all 3 times we went. Also more expensive than other places. 11 quarters per washer instead of 9. 6 minutes of drying time per quarter instead of 7. I love the concept (groovy jazz music and fun and colorful decor) and if it was located somewhere else and kept cleaner, I'd use it. read more

I went thier with high hopes because of all the reveiws. I went their with a basket of clothes, ready to clean them. I went their at 9:15, and the cleaning woman was very mean. She said that I had to leave because, and I qoute, "You dont have clothes that abide by my terms, so leave" I will rate two stars because the place looked decently clean. read more

The service here was amazing. The attendant clearly took his job very seriously. He was friendly and offered many unsolicited suggestions. He was vigorously cleaning machines the entire time I was there. I also liked the music and the fact they are open late in the evening. Drawbacks are that it is small, there aren't many carriages/carts, the machines are old-ish, and there were some sketchy characters hanging around. read more

On vacation and totally had to do laundry at a coin-op, a not so pleasant recollection of them 'ol college days. On the whole, not as bad as anticipated. Only one portable laundry cart, some sketchy dudes out front but 90 minutes and all clean clothes. read more

Amazing laundromat! The manager met us at our car brought us a laundry cart and offered us coffee, soda or water for free. He also loaned us stain remover. He was Very personable! The place was very clean, machines in great working order. They offer free wifi. We are just traveling through and thought if we ever had to do laundry in Eugene this is the place we would come. read more
