Conveniently located next to some sweet local businesses, and some close parking spots, were pluses here. I went in to use the large washers and dryers to do some big comforters. I was going to do some blankets as well, but then the PayRange app double charged me. I think it might've had something to do with the fact that there is no obvious way to actually start the washing machines. The app promised me a free wash, but then it wouldn't give it to me. I had to add money before I could do anything. The large commercial washers smelled moldy. There is no restroom, but I can understand why. I bought lunch at Tradewinds and used their restroom. A nice lady who was a frequent customer of the place pointed out a phone number where I could call the owner to ask about a refund for my double charge. I also emailed Support on the app. After some back-and-forth, I eventually got my refund the next day. Meanwhile I struggled to find large dryers that still had the pay range app numbers on them. A lot of signage was missing, including the word 'start' on the start button of a number of the machines. All in all, it was not the smooth experience I was hoping for. read more

I go to JC's at least 2 to 3 times a week and do around 4 loads each time. About a month ago I was in drying laundry and as I pulled a nice blue tie die shirt from dryer 37 that I did not recognize. The lady next to me had a lot of tie die clothes, so I asked her if the shirt was hers. She said no. The attendant happened to be there and so I told her I found the shirt in my dryer. She asked dryer number and I told her. She put the shirt in office that they use. Next day my son wants to know where his new blue tie die shirt was that he had put in washer yesterday (unbeknownst to me obviously.) As soon as son told me that it was his I went back to JC's. The attendant was not there. I have seen her there at different times so I went home and tried a hour later. No atttendant. I went next day and no attendant. So I went home and wrote a note and a couple hours later returned with my note and tape. I didn't know if I should leave my phone # considering it's just taped to door- anyone can see it. ( I'm not trying to get a bunch of weird calls) but the shirt had never been worn and I needed it back so I put phone ## on note. I explained what happened and that I have been trying to get it back and asked the attendant or whoever works there to call me to pick shirt up. No call all weekend so I went and tried again and again. I have been there at least 20 times in 3 weeks to dry clothes as per usual but I also have tried to catch attendant randomly. Even thought ok maybe I need to be there at opening. No one was there then either. In short I decided that I will be-going to 18th st to dry from now on. Everyone's right the laundry mat is sketchy. The machines are always out of order and it has been a pig stye most of my trips there. They don't care about there customers clearly. oh And it has flooded twice in the years since I started using it. read more

Some of the machines smell like urine and i found rat droppings in 5-6 different machines.

I requested refunds from the machines malfunctioning. I recently received these refunds.

Wow this place has gone downhill. Half the machines are broken, half don't support the Bluetooth pay-on-your-phone feature (which used to be my main reason for coming here). Clientele is super sketch and it's always dirty now, both of which weren't the case in past years. Please get it together, JC's. read more

I came here and the place was almost empty which was nice. I couldn't how expensive it was. About $8 total for soap, wash and dry.

This was my first time ever in a laundromat & I cannot really complain about my visit... My only personal issue was my washer got stuck on 1 minute/door lock for quite some time but I called the help number & got assisted over the phone promptly. No bathroom so be prepared. Well. What can I say? My experience was totally fine. I think this facility was nice. I felt safe safe and comfortable while doing my laundry and would not hesitate to return. After trying it out, I am very surprised about all the negative one-star reviews. Come on people! One star? Really? Your laundry expectations must be way way way higher than mine. My favorite laundry mat! Clean, spacious, well-maintained machines, and ample parking

Formerly Spin City. Where is the hot water?! I was charged the additional money to have a hot water cycle run through and the hot never showed. How can I tell?! It is a top loading washer! You can access the wash at anytime during the cycle. If you are going to charge people for hot water, then provide it. My clothes came out filmy, the soap never really washed out and the clothes are stiff. The facility was fairly clean though, so if you want to use a cleaner laundry facility without having clean clothes, then this place is for you. I personally like not having to deal with stiff filmy clothes. Never going back here again. read more

This place is just bad. Half the machines don't work, but will still happily eat your quarters. No attendant on a Monday, and definitely busy. No water or bathroom, either. I don't have high expectations of a laundromat, but this place is a new low. read more

The prices are good, it's close to where I live, and the attendant was friendly.

Went to this laundromat for the first time today and was not happy. (My regular laundry was closed from pipe damage during the recent snowstorm.) Got to JCs, the door was super hard to open and slammed shut on my back -- comeon' people, it's a laundry -- you're going to be carrying bags, baskets, etc. of stuff, both in and out! The cheapest front-loader was $3.00; when I had called, they said there was a $2.50 one . . . don't know what happened to that. The place was very dirty, like the floor hadn't been properly mopped in months. The CS sink had cold water only and there was one tiny, very dirty rag to use if you needed to wipe anything, which, again, since the place was so dirty, would've been several things. The washers I used seemed to work OK, but left alot of water in the clothes -- considerably more than my aging defunct washer at home used to. read more

After using laundromats with credit card access, this was a disappointing experience to find only coin-op laundry machines. I had to wash all of my blankets and sleeping bag and comforters which means I had large sums to pay for each load and touching that many dirty coins was rather disgusting. In addition to that , once your hands are filthy, the bathroom is not open to the public so there's nowhere to wash the filthy grime off. Generally the facility is light and bright with lots of windows. Just a little dirty and cold and antiquated. read more

The old man that works there is very mean! I was warned to get out by 10 and was on my way out the door at 9:58 but the door was locked and I had to knock on his office to let me out. I got nothing but an earful of rude comments about how I needed to get there earlier and the owner was watching the cameras and that he was going to call the police on me for trespassing. I pointed out that it wasn't even 10 o'clock yet and he didn't seem to care. I will never go to this laundromat again! The dryers are incredibly slow which is why I waited till the last minute to pull my clothes out. They were drying for about a half an hour and are still wet! Very unsatisfied. Not to mention I spent at least $12 on their overpriced poor-functioning machines. I'll be going to one of the ones near campus next time. read more

long has it been that have been so disrespected by a person that works at a public service better yet that clamps to own the business, I was doing my laundry tonight at JC'S in Eugene or and for the forth and final time I was treated rudely by the elderly man that cleans up there and with complete lack of regard for me or my clothes that I had just washed and dried to the some of $9.50 to wash and 46 minutes in two dryers, under normal circumstances a person that just spent 15 dollars at ur business would be allowed to at least fold your shirts n pants at the very least be fore being physically threatened and having your clean clothing thrown out on the ground by the attendee, I am disabled and have hearing and mobility issues, herrington rods in my back and a replacement hip, my thanks for building houses for 15 years after breaking my back. my point is I should have been allowed to fold my clothing first before being physically pushed out of the doorway after he throws my bags of freshly washed clothing on the dirty ground that I will have to relaunder in the morning as a result of his rude behavior and my now dirty ringkled clothing. as I have already stated he has been rude and disrespectful to me as a person who is doing laundry, the last time I wash clothes there he complained about the fact that I had used to many washers (4) ,the over sized washers were already in use ,, so I had no chose but to occupy 4 of the regular machines, I thought they would be stoked to have the machines running than not being used but I was wrong. I am going to ask for my money back that I spent there because I walked in with dirty unfolded clothing and was forced to leave with dirty unfolded clothing after the attendee had thrown them from the cart to the ground without giving me the opportunity to pick them up first . the machines are nice and the dryers don't burn them as they dry but having said that I would recommend not going to there and run the risk of being disrespected for spending good money at their JC'S laundry n dry cleaning in Eugene Oregon . read more
