It's nice to find a laundromat with a human being actually present who works there. I didn't use…read morethe full serve options, just went in to wash a sleeping bag. It was $11 to do a quick wash on washer C60, which seems pricey to me but it was a pretty huge machine. I put 4 quarters in the dryer and that got me 28 min but it was pretty much dry after 15 min. So the dryer seemed like a great deal. No public restroom, which is typical of laundromats, since our country despises people who are poor and struggling, as well as older, incontinent people. If you have time to kill, there are places to check out nearby like Coastal, Club Thrift and Harbor Freight.

I usually come here because the machines look clean, but today I had a very poor experience with…read morethe owner/manager. I used a large washer, but the machine never filled properly with water. The clothes were just tumbling around damp and dry, with the soap stuck to them. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, he was incredibly rude and sarcastic. He claimed it was a high-efficiency machine that doesn't use much water. When I pointed out the machine's own diagram showing the drum filling halfway with water, he dismissed it by saying, "That's just a picture." He refused to assist or offer a solution, and sarcastically suggested that if I wanted my clothes back immediately, I would have to deal with the water on the floor myself.Paying a high price to get treated with such a bad attitude and leave with unwashed clothes is unacceptable. There is also often pet hair left inside the washers. Save your money and go somewhere else where they respect paying customers.

Hands-down, the worst dry cleaner available likely in the state of Oregon…read more It starts from the beginning when I first walk up to be helped. Never is it quick. Someone yells,"someone will be right with you," yet no one is ever RIGHT with me. They are slow. Making me the customer, feel unimportant. Next, I've never experienced a dry cleaner who has such a hard time keeping my laundry together. They've lost numerous items of mine. It got so bad they had replace a few items. When this happens they acted like it was my fault. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. In reality, I am not seeking them to replace the items, I want MY items back. They just don't seem to understand that. They do a very good job at making you feel like it's your fault and not theirs. And finally, I want to address the fact that when I get my clothes back from this dry cleaner, they stink. I know I'm not the only one to experience this. It got so bad that I had to switch dry cleaners. Obviously, I wasn't aware of all these things until I experience it myself. Overall, a terrible experience. They never have a legitimate manager available. And when you do ask for someone who has a brain on their head, you'll never find one. . I DO NOT RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR CLOTHES TO THIS DRY CLEANER. AND I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH. IT'S UNFORTUNATE. BUT ALL I CAN DO IS GIVE YOU MY HONEST OPINION BASED ON FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE. And because dry cleaning is becoming obsolete. They operate under the assumption that because they are one of the only dry cleaners left in this town - us as customers will be forced to give them business. Therefore, providing an awful experience.

Allow me, a long time customer of The Cleanery. Some would consider me "well-versed" or a seasoned…read moredry cleaner. With that said Id like to share with you my experience... 1) customer service is chipper, with great intention and respect. more than not I am helped by someone whos been there for at least long enough to work the POS system properly. one less than superb transaction with an employee still learning the computer system IS NOT going to influence my decision or "rating." overall 5 stars! with Kathleen being a peach of a person and seemingly an owner worth working for. bonus points by going to The Cleanery- YOURE SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESSES! 2) quality goes even beyond 5 stars here. If i am unsure whether to dry-clean or launder the items I bring in- Kathleen and the manager know these answers, and answer them for me. My clothes have always come back to me looking brand new again. I am not kidding. 3) its hard to compare their prices and COST vs others because there arent a lot of dry cleaners around. so then I figure.... $4.85 or whatever it is for a shirt to look brand new again, I AM OKAY WITH. same with their pants. dresses, blouses, sweaters..... yep yep YES. If youre going to the dry cleaners with unreal expectations- expect the unreal. if you are wanting the best in town (ive tried them all), attention to detail, and realistic results - go to The Cleanery! If you have read previous reviews that target the wonderful people of The Cleanery on a personal level. noticing that one in particular does this ONLY. SHAME ON THIS REVIEW! -realize your opinion and decision to review what seems to be an experience from the inside -out ... has NOTHING TO DO with what people use this website for. clearly this is nothing more than a disgruntled employee IN SUMMARY, IF YOU NEED YOUR CLOTHES TO RECEIVE SPECIAL ATTENTION. THE CLEANERY. IF THEY MUST BE DRY CLEANED. THE CLEANERY. IF CHOOSING WHERE TO GO (AS IF THERE ARE MANY CHOICES), TRUST ME WHEN I SAY... THE CLEANERY.
