I see a lot of awful reviews on here. Hopefully the owners made some big changes because I had a good experience today. I had one over-sized item to wash that is too big to do at home. The machine worked great and cost $5.50 compared to $10.75 for the same over-sized machine at Riviera Laundry in Santa Clara, where I had a lot of issues. Nothing to complain about here. read more

I have used this place twice this month. These are the only 2 times I've ever been here. The employee, Nancy, was very nice and normal and chatted up my sister and I as we folded clothes. I think she said she is the new manager. She was cleaning machines and then sweeping as we talked. She mentioned she had taken over and was having to run off people who try to take a bath in the sink. I think she is whipping the place into shape. I got a good impression. Be aware that the gas dryer is extremely hot and will burn your clothes if you go higher than Medium heat. I think Nancy is doing her best to run off trespassers and trouble makers. A few machines ( I think triple loaders) were out of service but all together a good experience. I was there until closing and I felt safe. There were only a few customers and they all kept to themselves and seemed to be minding their own business doing their laundry. I will be back until I get my dryer fixed! read more

My name is Marion Pound. I am putting this out to the owners and the public about this Laundromat. If you value your life and those of your family stay away from this laundromat. I am the senior executive producer and investigative journalist for Alternative Public Radio International. I am also a certified state caregiver for my client, and a member of SEIU 503. I am the executive director and president for the Northwest Police Fire Emergency Medical Disaster Respite team. I took my client to do laundry after his appointment on this past Friday in our fully identifiable emergency vehicle. We no sooner had unloaded our clothes and gotten them in the washer when your black manager started verbally and aggressively started attacking my client in the car telling him that he was trespassing. He did not let up until we left the property when we were finished washing. He also accused me of slamming a dryer too hard. We are filing police reports and filing a complaint in behalf of my 66 year old elderly client. There is also another post on here about him being aggressive to another woman as well back at the end of May. He needs to be removed from your property for the safety of all who come to do their laundry there at your business. read more

My friend referred me. I tried it. The first time, my clothes came out of the washer dirtier than they went in. Luckily I caught that, and I did not put them in the dryer. I took them to the Big Y laundromat the next day. Spending even more money. I contacted Marylou's the next day, and I was reimbursed the cost of my wash. Not quite enough, since some of my items were permanently ruined. But it was a nice gesture. Several months later, I thought I would give it another try. Everything was fine, except in my dark load I didn't realize there was debris on my clothes so I dried them. I found the damage after they were already dried. I did not bother contacting anyone this time. I figured I was just done with them. A few months later, I thought I would give it another go. They are convenient, and they have nice hours. The same thing happened to another white load. I caught it before I put it in the dryer. Now here I am again, giving it one last chance. I arrived at 9:20, and the maintenance person or a cleaning person was doing their thing already. Even though there were customers washing and drying as she worked... with her seven or eight year old child sitting by waiting for her. I'm sure these duties are intended to be done after hours. Maybe some things can be done before the patrons leave, but not what she was doing. This is not good business practice. And I will not be using their services again in the future. And I will spread the word. It's a real disappointment. read more

Good Afternoon, I'm contacting you so you are aware of a situation that took place at your laundromat earlier today on Monday May 29th 2023 at 11:00 a.m. I pulled in the parking lot to do a load of laundry, and I saw that there is a notice posted that you would be closing at 12:00 noon in observation of the Memorial Holiday. I sat in my car for approximately 3 minutes looking up another laundromat to go to. When one of your employees came outside of the laundromat towards my car yelling at me. I could not hear the man,so I proceeded to roll down my window and open my car door, so I could hear what he was saying. The man then came to my window and spit on me, and told me to leave the parking lot, I was trespassing. I explained to the man that I've used your establishment many times to do my laundry and that I was going to another laundromat because you guys were going to be closing. He then continued to scream at me, and spit on me. He then told me he was going to call the police. At this point I told him to please call the police, and that I felt violated and assaulted in my own car. I stayed in my car waiting for an officer to arrive at which your employee went inside and got on the phone. The man then came back out screaming again taking down my license plate and trying to cause confrontation. I see that you have posted that you have cameras on your premises. I am urging you to please watch the video footage in your parking lot of your employee coming out yelling at me and assaulting me. Your employee then tried to bring other patrons into the situation while waiting on the police. This gentleman is a danger to your business and all of your customers that come to do their laundry there. I filed the report with OSP and the police in regards to this situation. If you have any questions regarding this situation please feel to email me. read more

This business has a lot of problems, especially with their staff. I was harassed by an employee who seemed to be on drugs. He was behaving erratically, paranoid and angry, accusing me of "watching" him when I looked to see if one of the large capacity machines was available for my comforter. When I explained that, this employee then mistakenly assumed I was gay, hurled homophobic slurs at me, and even followed me outside to continue his harassment and insults. When I called the owner to report this, I was told employees have "good judgement", and no action would be taken to deal with this unstable employee threatening customers. LGBTQ folks should know this isn't a safe place for them or anyone else, clearly. This laundromat is dirty and the equipment is shabby. Whole rows of machines are permanently out of order. Machines that do work have problems. Dryer doors don't stay closed. Washers often don't take your coins. The change machine often won't accept bills. Plumbing issues cause portions of the floor to flood in wet weather. It's not uncommon to see litter all over the place and debris in the machines. It definitely has the feel of a place where your clothes come out dirtier than when they went in. I've tried to find good things about this place because it's close, but I've wasted more money here than it's worth and won't do that anymore. I will recommend that everyone stay away from this business. read more

UNSAFE!!! I put my laundry in the machine and started my wash, then I went out to my car to get my backpack to go to get something to eat across the street, and a man jumps out of his car and starts shouting at me in the parking lot and walking after me. He was rapidly charging toward me, so I went into the dairy mart and asked them to call the police. The man followed me into the dairy mart. It turns out the man works at the laundromat, and he thought I was parking illegally or something. I told him I was doing laundry and he didn't believe me and just kept raving and shouting at me. The police came, and I was able to retrieve my laundry. If the owner reads this - please be aware that your employee is unhinged and has serious anger issues. I think he might have also been on drugs or something? His behavior is erratic unsafe. I will NEVER return to this place again! read more

I haven't written a review for a while but these folks went above and beyond to help me so I just thought they deserved a positive shout-out. I was there earlier this week to wash oversize items. I put $5 worth of quarters in the machine but it didnt start. The cleaning attendant saw what happened and had got another washer started for me and helped me fill out the refund form. I was supposed to go to the laundromat the next day to collect the refund but never got around to it. A few days later I get the $5 sent to me by mail! Someone there went out of their way to mail me the refund even though I never went back there in person to collect it. Wow! Now that's customer service! Great job by the good folks at Mary Lou's! read more

It's hard to judge this laundromat because it's the first I've had to use in Eugene. It's kept decently clean, didn't have to wait for open machines because plenty to choose from, and very well lit. Doesn't take credit cards, but there's a change machine and another machine in case you need soap, bleach, or fabric softener. Benches on one side and has a couple of tables for folding. Be careful because I had detergent stolen. read more

Today was my first time coming to this establishment. And I found it to be absolutely horrible. Horrible customer service, horrible appliances. I have an ESA service animal and she was with me on this trip as she is on every other place I go. She's not aggressive and never has been. She alerts me of symptoms of a medical condition. She has her tags and I have her ID card in my wallet. We were greeted in a very rude manner instantly being told she isn't a service animal because she didn't have vest on because it was being washed my boyfriend and I attempted to explain to the man that she has tags and I have her card she is certified and alerts of symptoms of medical emergencies. To which he replied he didn't care to get him out of there.. that male pitbulls have an aggressive reputation.. mind you she's a female rednose pocket pit. She's 7 Years old very well behaved and loves everyone.. but because she barked at the man who startled her one time not excessively barking or aggressively trying to attack just one simple bark because he startled her. The washers didn't get any of the clothes clean and the dryers were hot but didn't dry the clothes.. no matter how many times i put them in.. costing me double what it should have.. as we were sitting outside waiting for our ride the man pulls up in his car and proceeds to tell my boyfriend that it's nothing personal against us.. it's because he's a pitbull and male pitbulls are aggressive and there were women and children in there and what if he attacked one of them to which we politely corrected him that she is not a he. And she is not aggressive nor was she trying to imply aggression that he had just startled her and he once again didn't listen.. my ESA service animal was made to sit outside the entire time we were there. read more

If I can give this review negative stars I would I am quite irritated right now my fiancé and I did laundry at this laundromat and he got the clothes out of the dryer our clothes were smoldering and they were on fire. I'm being pissed our work clothes were gone.. I'm beyond pissed read more

Went to do laundry and there was a man and woman working. Well the man proceeded to yell at everyone about there mask not pulled up all the way, he did not ask nicely to anyone but yelled and harassed one lady who was sitting there, he yelled at her then after he was done came back to yell at her again telling her he was going to kick her out. Then my kids mask slid down when he was putting cloths in the dryer I had told him to pull it back up and go get more change from the car; when he went out the guy approached him and started yelling at him mind you my kids 11 yrs old. My kid came back in and told me as well as my other kid telling me he yelled at him. Then when my kid came back in the man came in and proceeded to yell at me again he then threatened to take our pic and kick us out because I told him his masked slipped down and I told him to pull it up and that made him even madder. I then called the office number and another man answered I told him what had happened and he told me I was lying I said I wouldn't of called if it wasn't a problem; he was just as rude. I had been going there for 25-30 yrs and never a problem before, the owners and previous employees where always nice, but not anymore I will not return and will recommend that no one else should go unless they want to be treated with disrespect and straight out rude people. read more

They use ammonia to wipe down the washers. I don't want to smell that or have my laundry smelling like that. Also people were yelling inside the laundromat. Two stars because it did look cleaner than the last time I was here. Still heavy ammonia use. Horrible music wasn't playing, people in there yelling, so I just left. This was 330 pm. read more

I noticed this cute quiet laundromat tucked in to a small business cubicle and was excited about doing my laundry in such a quiet clean looking establishment so I decided to check it out.. that was my first mistake the gentleman who cleans the laundromat was in there drinking whiskey with his friends. He is very clearly racial an extremely rude to the point that I took my clothes out of the dryer while they were still wet and left I will never go to that establishment again my recommendation to anyone who goes to the laundromat to wash their clothes stay away from that one read more

Not really rating based on the machine but based on the owner. I came out to travel and drove a long way 14+ hours. saw a laundromat and want to check out the price. Since I need to wash the clothes tmr. I know I sound dumb here but I have never used a laundromat so was curious how much it cost. It said 25 cent for a dryer sounds cheap to me. So want to throw a few coins in to see how long can I dry the clothes and see how the machine works....I don't have coins hence I went to the change machine. But one of the owners thought I was there to get changes.....I mean why I need quarters at night.......I said I can give them back the quarters if it is a big deal. tried to explain the things a bit but I know I look suspicious to him anyway. Sorry that I really don't know how laundromat works and I thought it's self served and I don't know I can check with the owner... (I didn't see anyone when I arrived) Then the other owner came out and said no worries but next time please aware. I feel sorry that I sound dumb. But at least I think they are good people. read more

Not the cleanest, machines are old and many are broken, but hey, it's open late! I've been here twice because Laundrama was closed.

Waste of time and money. Finally gave up and brought my damp towels home to hang because it had been over an hour for just 4 towels. Machines are old and more than half do not work. read more

Mary Lou's Laundromat - Filthy! I sure hope a clean item doesn't land on the floor! - Laundromat Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

See all

Lady who works here dumped paint thinner to set in order to scrape the paint off the floor in front of the dryers I had running, leaving me to have to step in it in order to feed more quarters into the machines and also get my laundry out. Will not be coming back. read more

This place is dirty, a ton of the machines are broken, and there is a horrendous gas leak. Never coming back here.

I got there at 9:00. I had a lot of laundry, but it was slow so I used a lot of machines to get it to go faster. The sign said that the last load had to be in by 10:00 - I was well before that time. I had my items in the dryer when it was about 5 minutes to 11:00. One of the dryers had completed and the other had about 4 minutes left. I talked to my friend on the phone while I folded my clothes and started putting them in the hamper. The attendant interrupted my conversation and told me that it was close to 11:00 and that I needed to finish my business. I got off the phone and started folding. He told me that I didn't have time for that. He made me stuff all of my clothes into my hamper - not folded, and empty the other dryer (still had time left). My clothes got home wrinkled and quite a few were still damp as they were not able to finish drying. I asked him for a refund of my money since I was not able to complete the drying cycle and he refused. He then stood about 2 feet away from me tapping his fingers for me to get everything out and to get out. As I was backing out of the parking lot I saw it was only 11:04. I was treated in such a rude manner. DON"T GO TO THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!!!! read more
