Still a little overpriced. But the wreath is beautiful. Beautiful store and very easy to find stuff. Just remember they're closed on Sundays.

I moved to Eugene and was thinking wouldn't it be great if Eugene had such a place, and lo and behold, MECCA! It's like Seattle ReCreative but 10+ times larger! Paint, canvas, paper, folios, yarn, fabric remnants, yogurt tubs, wine bottles, plant pots, scrapbook papers, so much fun stuff to get you thinking creativity on a budget. My only suggestion is they might find a way to fill in the huge puddle right in front of their door, and that they somehow get more parking spaces!

I called to get directions, and the person I spoke with couldn't tell me how to get to the store, couldn't tell me the street address, and told me the wrong exit to take off of the freeway. Once we arrived, the fabric selection was small and poor, the samples were adequate at best, and the employees told me 'smile, it can't be that bad,' very condescending and sexist. Things were exactly that bad, and I've never heard a man be told to smile. I would only stop here again if they're included on the Quilt Safari, but I don't think they should be. It was a waste of time and money to go there.

They confirmed my plan for my project sounded good, answered all my questions, and guided me towards the right materials for my project. I also didn't feel rushed, I browsed the fabric for a while to make sure I picked the right one and they cut it and sold it to me right there. We have been calling the store for a week to set up a private class for glass fusing. We know we…read moreneed to speak to Patricia for this and have left MULTIPLE messages for her to call us back. This was for a special birthday and it's all we wanted to do. Needless to say, we never got a call back, so we were not able to fulfill the birthday wish. The birthday girl and I am severely disappointed, sad and now angry. This is not the experience we wanted or expected. We were in the store six months ago and everyone was falling all over themselves to set up a private class. This isn't how you run a business, it's not how you treat customers, and it's certainly not how you stay in business. The business owner, Cindy, saw my review and said they do not have the staff to offer private classes. Then continued to say to check the website for a form that has info on private events. So which is it? Either you do or you don't. It doesn't matter because they've lost our business and we are now spreading the word to avoid this place because the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. We did get two call backs by the way, one guy told us we needed to talk to Priscilla (who never called us back or would come to the phone) and the other said she taught those classes but wouldn't be available the day we wanted.
