    Store aisles

I came here for the first time today and can't believe I didn't go sooner. It's fantastic! There are so many craft supplies to choose from, you can always find something you want. The employees are so nice and helpful. The aisles are messy in a good way and I could easily spend an hour here looking at everything they have to offer. I can't wait to go back here again for all my crafting needs. There is some parking in the back - more than it seems at first. No restroom from what I could see but I could have missed it. Everything was very cheap cost-wise. It is a bit loud from people working on their own projects so if you're sensitive to noise bring some headphones or Loops to block it out. Overall, I highly recommend this place for all your crafting needs!

one of my go-tos for whatever tinkering / art project i'm working on - a humble, funky and fairly priced gem in our town.

MECCA is one of my favorite creative reuse stores in Oregon. They moved and now have a lot bigger location. The staff is super nice as well.

Greeted us right at the door and asked us if they could help us finding anything. We were looking for wreaths and they pointed us in the right. They had a great selection of wreaths as that's what we were looking for. All of them were beautiful, but overpriced, even on sale. I decided on getting one that was 1/2 off of $80. So I spent $40. Still a little overpriced. But the wreath is beautiful. Beautiful store and very easy to find stuff. Just remember they're closed on Sundays.

The only line…read moreopen was the Refund line which we patiently stood in for 10 minutes due to a needy customer. When we saw one employee moving to another register, we stepped out of line to follow her. She ended up not opening up the register and the manager approached us to which we replied, could we pay for the items? He silently pointed to the Refund line. Other people had already stepped in front of us to pay, which made it even a longer line. The appropriate thing for the manager to do was to say sure I will take you here at another register. After we left, we realized the line was 10 deep and then he decided to open up another register . Work on serving customers FIRST rather than paying workers to stand around. Also smile at your customers rather than staring at us like we're thieves.

When we walked in we were greeted by Dana who was absolutely amazing at explaining the process to us. There was a ton of different items to choose from to start painting and lots of colors to choose. More than slightly irritating was a situation that potters quarter could have at least contained the overly loud adults. We had a nice chill and creative time planned with the grandkids. It when we arrived it was chaos. There was a young elementary girls party going on that had food, drinks and many screaming girls. When something was funny the parents were loudest! It's like the rented the whole place for themselves to be as wild as they wanted with no courtesy for others - except for the fact that they didn't. I'm not a party pooper. I'm not a buzz kill. I'm totally glad we get back to real life and some def fun- for everyone! So let's still be polite. Let's still be aware of our surroundings. Let's respect the others in the room ! What about indoor voices ? What about "read the room"? Oh no , you couldn't do that because you were all acting like you were at a park ! When I say screams and outlandish laughs it was over the top ! Never mind I had someone with me that's slightly on the spectrum. So we are clearly more than just irritating everyone. It's completely besides that because this wasn't even just a normal delightful squeals that is usually just enough to make you smile if you delight in several children in a good mood! Yeah I said I wasn't a cranky old woman! But really ???? One, next time rent out the whole place. Two, if you can't then know that others are also trying to have fun too. Three, why would you purposely be that Karen? And Karen's kids that will turn into the Karen because Karen don't k ow any better to do better. Sad.
