This is a fun and fascinating place to wander and search for used home building and decorating supplies. They have glass domes for lights, rows of window screens, doors galore, small things like screws and door jambs, a variety of tile (including tiles you could paint yourself), and more. There's even used house paint. Be sure to bring a tape measure. BRING has everything, including kitchen sinks. Also, you can donate stuff you're not going to use. I would typically say to always support local businesses even more so when they are all about recycling. However the customer interactions I've had are not the most pleasant. Do not bring a bag or a purse if you're a trans woman you'll be suspected of shoplifting. But don't worry they have lockers upfront if you trust leaving your personal belongings next to the front door. The man with the beard made me and my partner super uncomfortable and after disregarding the amount of excessive time I waited in line for him to finish a personal conversation. On top of that they have multiple people not wearing masks and are very selective on who they choose to confront. Surprise it's minorities. read more

You guys are completely inflexible with your rules, yet your employees try to run over customers with forklifts people go to archaeological recycle places like yours to restore only to find it destroyedWith black marker. The service is terrible it's probably because it's people who are on probation and doing community service hours. The manager is nice but really has no idea what he's doing. I'm such a hippie at heart, I love coming in here to visit. I read in another review it's the " half-way house for old crap instead of shipping it to a land fill until the end of time." This makes perfect sense to me, and seems to fit the description of Bring. They have quite the large selection of items. Everything for household projects, replacing broken appliances for cheap, or just finding a part without having to replace the entire thing. They have paint, desks, doors, toilets, lights, doorbells, and sooooo much more. The thing that sucks about it in my opinion, is the fact their merchandise area is outside in the open. So going in when it's 35 degrees and foggy, doesn't really permit the opportunity to dig around to find the perfect treasure you're looking for. It's just too cold. I'd rather go buy it new versus freezing to death. Yes, I'm that kind of princess. During warmer weather, I love to come and go on a scavenger hunt. Employees have always been OK. I never really see any outside with the merchandise, so the only time I interact with them is when I'm checking out and paying for my purchases. They are never rude, but they aren't Chatty Kathy either. Which is just fine with me. Would I return here? Yep. It's one of those places you never know what you'll find, and it's just fun. Wow, this place is huge! I went looking specifically for indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures for my new home and I definitely found what I was looking for. I bought three outdoor fixtures and two indoor fixtures for a grand total of $50....whaaaaat - amazing. I actually had the pleasure of returning the $35/piece fixtures that I bought at Lowe's earlier in the day. They have everything from bikes to desks to pipe parts. Long story short, they have everything. Most of the prices are very reasonable, but they have some items that are antiques and those are much more expensive. If you live in the area, you should definitely stop here and look around. read more

You never know what you'll find. Great selection of used tools and construction supplies, for home improvement or art projects! If only every community had a being there would be less waste in our landfills. Occasionally you'll find higher end antiques too. Also: don't buy new picture frames, get them from BRING. There is a fine line between junk and "repurposed" materials. Bring blurs that line even further and then charges you out the ear for it. Upon walking in there today they had a roll top desk that looked like someone had used it as a boat anchor for the low-low price of $300. Heavily water damaged, pieces broken off, warped and splitting wood, all yours for just $300. But hey you can piece it back together right? Step 1: remove everything and throw it away, buy a new desk. I love roll tops, I have an old one, this one was in terrible shape, but hey, a non profit has gotta profit somehow right??? I've been in here 4 times and every time I go in I expect to find things I can use (shelving, storage, whatever) and instead I walk out after spending 45 minutes looking at trash. Rusty trash, water damaged trash, avocado green toilet trash, broken or bent out of shape trash, and broken glass trash. I feel like this is what happens there: -They get a truck of donated stuff it's 90% junk 10% treasure. -They sift through it, the 10% treasure and 50% of the junk is put on the floor. -The Treasure sells the first day and over time maybe half the junk will go as well. -Over time the yard fills and fills with junk, junk spills over into other sections, the staff thinks its okay to try to sell rusty stripped down bicycle frames, and the merchandise is not churned at all, just stacked and stacked and stacked. If you're in to old doors and maybe old windows this could be a good place. Not sure about windows though, the money you are going to lose with that old window that makes your hippy dreams come true could buy you a brand new energy efficient window. I'm just over it, it's like everyone took all the stuff left on Monday after weekend garage sales, put it in a house, drove over the house with a tractor, let it rain on it all for a month, and then charged you 3x more than they were selling at the actual sale for the product. read more

Heard about this place only by it's name from a friend. I went one day and was blown away by the inventory. The amount of kindness from the employees was very comforting and appreciated. As you walk in, you are in a room with the front counter. On the other side of the room, I was informed, was beautiful furniture, boxes, planters, etc. made by a local guy out of materials only from Bring. I went for at least an hour. I walked every isle in each building. The repurposed art on the right side of the buildings was refreshing to see as well. This place is like 3 Restore type stores in one. read more

Bring Recycling is purty neat. Whether you're looking for door frames, tomato cages, an icebox or a bicycle you can probably find it at Bring. The place is well organized, has a friendly and helpful staff, and is playing the role of half-way house for old crap instead of shipping it to a land fill until the end of time. I went again yesterday and was gifted some tomato cages and a couple of planter boxes. If you are looking to set up a compost bin or thinking about catching rain water they have a number of prefabricated units for both. You can also poke around and make your own. Bring also takes donations of old crap, but only until 4 pm. I only give 4 stars because they wanted 2,500 pennies for a tarnished brass lamp. Maybe I'm just salty because I really wanted it, but $25 seems a little pricey for an old lamp. Go to Bring, live up to your stereotyped earth-friendly hippiness, do it now. read more

I am in the process of doing a remodel and felt that it would be a good idea to recycle some really good quality items for repurposing. The first item I took to them was an oak vanity with a cultured top and faucet. All items were in very good shape and you could see this by looking at the item in the bed of my truck. The party receiving the item was told that it was in great shape and he could also see it in the truck. He told me he was the only one that could determine if the item was good and then had me take it out of the truck for him to inspect and he did not help indicating that they were not supposed to lift. I found quit unhelpful and very rude. I will never use this place again as there are several other options available where you do not have to deal with rude individuals. read more

Went yesterday to look for a door so we could put a dog door in it, so we wouldn't ruin the one in our rental, found one that was perfect but my husband had to double check on a specific measurement, so we asked the guy up front if we can put the door (very hard to find door) on hold, the guy said yes, they would hold until the next day, so he writes our last name on a tag and told us to go put it on the door, so we did. Husband went in today as promised to purchase the door and it was gone. The guy just shrugged his shoulders and said we maybe should have brought it to the front, um ok, we thought that was their policy was to just put a tag on it, like we were told!! This was our first time there so we did what we were told and door was just gone, they were no help what so ever, not sympathetic at all!! Our family is moving from a country home with a Large shop, into town. So I brought a pick-up load of stuff to donate. The guys who helped me were Really helpful, appreciative and the Best part- one of them told me: "this is going to make a lot of people happy". It made me feel Really Good! If you are restoring an old trailer this is the place to go. We love Bring. When starting a remodel project we look here first. Everyone we have met there has been friendly and helpful, prices are really good, and you never know what you'll find it's like treasure hunting. They also have a really cool outdoor area where artists have repurposed items to make a cool park setting. Would be better if they had a system like SVDP where there are color tags and those colors automatically go on sale by a certain date. I would much rather buy something used, but it's hard when the price is near or sometimes even indistinguishable from new. read more

We took some windows we had just replaced, mini blinds with all the hardware attached. They wanted to charge US for taking the windows and don't want the mini blinds because they weren't in the original boxes. Really? For some reason I thought donating things meant just that, not being charged in order for someone to resell it. read more

The employees were cussing and arguing with each other in front of customers. Then they asked for top dollar for what I was interested in. I needed help in the paint department so I went to the front desk. Immediately upon my arrival,two employees started talking about work. A third employee joined the conversation when he arrived. I was a foot away from one of the employees. He looked directly at me and still ignored me. I finally raised my hand to get attention. One employee stopped to help then and the other two chimed in with their opinion. Terrible customer service. This has happened more than once. That is why I am writing this review. read more
