I have been to many shows here over the years. It is an old, and smaller place but I have never been disappointed in any show I have seen. All of the music has ranged from hip hop, rock, underground hip hop, and country. They usually allow people of all ages in. There is a beer bar downstairs but they don't allow you to bring anything upstairs. You can view the concerts from a big screen television while you drink. This last weekend we went to see Robert Earl Keen. He and his band were really great live! I had a blast. We walked to Sizzle pie afterwards to eat, after that some of our out of town friends wanted some VooDoo doughnuts. It is great everything is so close and with in walking distance.

Great local venue. Dress in layers, bring earplugs, and your ID for beer in the basement.

The loaves of bread looked so enticing, right there as you're waiting to order, it was hard not to buy one yet. We came by for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The fresh made menu is small but I enjoyed not having to pick between 30 different options on 10 pages. Even then I had a hard time deciding between the biscuits and gravy and the breakfast sandwich. Ultimately the gentleman ahead of us in line recommended the B&G so that's what I got (a half order anyway). My father ordered the croissant and egg sandwich and my husband ordered the eggs Bennie. I don't think we waited more than 10 minutes for food. My B&G were very good, it was a slightly different biscuit than I expected but I still really liked it, it had kind of a buttery-crisp crust on it (think almost grilled cheese exterior). Very good. My husband enjoyed his benedict but my father felt the croissant sandwich was missing something flavor-wise but to be fair he admitted his taste buds aren't what they used to be now that he's 83. The outside area looked inviting, it was a nice enough day we should have sat out there. The staff were friendly and happy and quick. It was nice to see they had publications to read while you wait or games (kids and adults). Definitely returning!

I can usually find something here, they have a good stock and the shelves are fairly organized. The people working here are friendly but can be hard to track down. The parking lot is huge and pretty easy to navigate, but it can be hard to get out of when exiting onto West 11th because it's a narrow and slightly blind turn. The bathrooms are coded, to save you the effort the codes are 1010 for the men's bathroom and 2020 for the women's. Not sure when that will change though.

I rode my bike to this location and brought my backpack to bring home my treasures in. I had my helmet attached to my backpack as well. Not two seconds after grabbing a basket, I heard a woman say to her co-workers "I've got this one." She almost sounded gleeful. This lady had blonde-ish hair in a pony tail and glasses. I'm not sure if she is a manager there but her energy definitely gave off a "I love telling people what to do" vibe. When she approached me, she bluntly stated that backpacks were not allowed in the store and "offered" that I could put my backpack in the breezeway "at my own risk." I responded "the breezeway?" and she proceeded to explain what a breezeway was, as opposed to acknowledging how utterly ridiculous it is to expect a person to leave their belongings in an unsecured area because of an arbitrary rule that allows her to discriminate people at will. I understand the argument as to why backpacks aren't allowed. I'm just saying, if you're going to enforce a pathetic guideline like that you should at least offer folks, and I mean everyone who walks through that door, a safe place to stow their stuff. When I left, this lady said "sorry" but I could tell she really wasn't. Very much in line with her initial vibe, her tone and energy were giving that she derives pleasure from being the Big Boss Lady in Charge™. The exchange was less than a minute total but the impression she left was absolutely foul. I'd say she could use some training but sadly, compassion is not something you can teach a full-grown adult.

Y'all need to get your shit together and have an option where we can cash it out directly to our bank account because guess what all of that money belongs to us so we should be able to pull it out whenever we want. No wonder the world is dying because you make it so hard for people to actually want to recycle. First,…read morethey no longer allowed you to bring your bottles in with the carts, so the paper bags I had them in didn't work. So, I took everything home and rebagged it in the bags I had sitting around-- the useless green ones someone had told me I needed, but the account thing was too confusing. Then, I finally brought all my bags in, dragged them across the parking lot, since you can't use a cart anymore, only to be REPEATEDLY HARASSED by multiple employees that I had used green bags. So, I dumped my bags out in the cart, since they had such a big problem with the color of my bags, only for them to continue to REPEATEDLY HARASS me and not leave me alone to just turn in my cans. I got incredibly upset at being REPEATEDLY HARASSED BY LARGE INTIMITADING MEN, so they kicked me out. I left all my cans there and will no longer be participating in this stupid fucking program at all anymore. It is a waste of time and money and only makes it HARDER to recycle bottles and cans. I think this idiot program needs to be ended immediately. I cannot figure out how you are supposed to turn in cans and bottles without it becoming the most awful experience. It has been an absolutely awful experience for me over and over, and I'm not recycling bottles and cans anymore. Oregon makes it too difficult.
