Columbia shirt for less than $5!
    Erica W.

Who doesn't love a good deal?! I don't know about anyone else, but saving money on name brand clothes means I can buy more. I found a pair of Nike workout pants for $6.99, a gorgeous Cabela's jacket for $10, with the half off color tag, a Columbia fleece jacket for $6.50, and several shirts for less than $5. I spent less than $35 for a large bag of clothes. I hadn't been to this location in quite a while. I recently bought a pair of Nike workout pants and wanted a couple more pair. Which meant I wanted to go on a thrift store adventure. My husband had the day off and was totally up for it, so off we went! This was the absolute best stop on our journey today. They have color tag sales. Today it was yellow full price, green 25% off, and white 50% off I found a bunch of clothes in here, in my favorite brands at amazing prices. I love good deals. The store is well organized. I don't remember appliances being in there the last time, but they had them today. I didn't find any books today, but they are well organized by genre and author. Shoes are organized by color, not by size. Which can be annoying, but it's part of the search. Clothes are sorted by type and size, which makes it fairly easy to sort through and find what you're looking for. This store is a bit of a drive for me, but after finding so much great stuff today, I'll definitely be coming back more often.

A delightful thrift store in a sketchy part of town! Pretty darned new, the location opened in October 2006. It is well laid out with a great selection of used books and a few good finds in the clothing. A drive through donation station and pleasant employees. This place served me well when I came up to visit the kids and forgot my suitcase but, so did the stores at Valley River Center!

Really liked this thrift store. Good selection of stuff - from mainstream to quirky. Fair prices. Nice staff.

Extremely over priced items! Used items are priced at what they would cost brand new even though they look really worn down and damaged.

As someone who has volunteered at the California Raptor Center in Davis, CA for 3 years (and counting) and is also a primary handler/trainer of two education ambassadors (a Swainson's Hawk and a Peregrine Falcon), as well as an aspiring falconer, I am pretty well-versed in raptors. Therefore, Cascades Raptor Center was a no-brainer stop on our trip. It was a pretty warm day, as OR had just experienced a heat wave. The raptor center overall was very well-kept, with over 30 education ambassadors on display. All the enclosures were very clean and organized. There were various trainers in several enclosures working with their respective birds when we went, and one volunteer even had a peregrine falcon out on glove for the public to enjoy up close and to ask questions about. We actually made it just in time for the last flight show of the season, and boy was it a blast!! Hans the Eurasian-Eagle-Owl was the star of the show, but I thoroughly enjoyed the entire program. As you can see in the photos below, I snapped some lovely shots of the birds with my DSLR. Here I am sharing some of my favorites. The admission fee was worth it, especially as the raptor center mainly functions from donations. We also shopped at the little gift shop after for some mementos to take home. I would love to revisit on our next trip to OR!

They have a great book section, and their general household section is pretty big. They also have a lot of furniture to peruse. The people who work here are nice, just incredibly busy. The parking lot is a bit of a nightmare and, aside from being out in Springfield, is the only drawback to this location. It is tough to get out of and finding a spot can be challenging even in the middle of a weekday. I don't come here super often, but I like to stop by when I'm in the area. It's probably not worth making a special trip to, though.

My friend and I visited and were greeted by 2 employees. The shoes are located on the right hand side of entering along with purses. Up above, there are the prices of what colors are on sale, 25% or 50% off. [Organization]: This store is **organized**! The books [category, but way spacious to look], DVDs, CDs, stationary, seasonal decor, shoes [by color not size, then by category], photo frames, cups, furniture, clothes are all on racks with clear signs, and etc. They do have a good handful of jewelry and other speciality items in cases. It was easy to find a helpful and friendly employee to ask for an item in the case. [Price]: I do think depending on what the item is, St.Vinnies is cheaper than Goodwill. At Vinnies, most of the items are a flat price. Such as books, buttons, cards, clothes, and magazines. I ended up buying a handful of books and magazines, and spent about $30. Some were specialty and hardcover too! I decided to keep this review short, since it was overall just a lovely and great experience. I ended up spending over 2 hours browsing around and found a bunch of great things I've been looking for on my personal list. Super impressed and happy about that! I didn't even look at clothes! (next time!) It is definitely a must go to on my thrift store list!

Then as a staff if you actually take all that to heart and become a good, genuine, platonic, close friend with an assigned client they literally fire you and poison the friend/client against you to break all your hearts and withhold/steal all your rightfully earned PTO to instead of clarifying their position and retraining or just accepting the mutual friendship relationship 2 grown consenting adults have every right to be in. It breaks and hurts multiple people and hurts employee moral when you see coworker after coworker get marched out for often petty or normal excusable mistakes or misunderstandings that could literally happen to any of us and the more often you see it happen the more you're left wondering if it's only a matter of time before it happens to me. What's worse is they implemented a human rights violating covid shot mandate and mask mandate that forces workers to have to give up their rights to medical freedom, bodily autonomy and medical privacy! DONT WORK HERE!
