    St. Vinnie's Q St - Book section

They have a great book section, and their general household section is pretty big. They also have a lot of furniture to peruse. The people who work here are nice, just incredibly busy. The parking lot is a bit of a nightmare and, aside from being out in Springfield, is the only drawback to this location. It is tough to get out of and finding a spot can be challenging even in the middle of a weekday. I don't come here super often, but I like to stop by when I'm in the area. It's probably not worth making a special trip to, though.

My friend and I visited and were greeted by 2 employees. The shoes are located on the right hand side of entering along with purses. Up above, there are the prices of what colors are on sale, 25% or 50% off. [Organization]: This store is **organized**! The books [category, but way spacious to look], DVDs, CDs, stationary, seasonal decor, shoes [by color not size, then by category], photo frames, cups, furniture, clothes are all on racks with clear signs, and etc. They do have a good handful of jewelry and other speciality items in cases. It was easy to find a helpful and friendly employee to ask for an item in the case. [Price]: I do think depending on what the item is, St.Vinnies is cheaper than Goodwill. At Vinnies, most of the items are a flat price. Such as books, buttons, cards, clothes, and magazines. I ended up buying a handful of books and magazines, and spent about $30. Some were specialty and hardcover too! I decided to keep this review short, since it was overall just a lovely and great experience. I ended up spending over 2 hours browsing around and found a bunch of great things I've been looking for on my personal list. Super impressed and happy about that! I didn't even look at clothes! (next time!) It is definitely a must go to on my thrift store list!

We voiced concerns over how my brother was being treated at the school and he actually became sick as we're dealing with many other obstacles right now. We were in Portland over night because he was filling the toilet with blood. Now we're being victimized by the teachers and the supervisor. The way we have been treated since we had to start the day treatment program has been awful. It's supposed to be a school for kids who have special needs but it seems more like jasper mountain for troubled kids. My brother needs more social help than straight discipline. We now get a call from a supervisor saying that we are completely dropped from the child center because of our complaints. The communication with the teacher "counselors" has been horrible through all this. We have had the best experiences here for a long time until the day treatment program. We feel victimized and left out in the cold by them now. This was the one place that truly was helping us until now. My donations will be going elsewhere. Really sad to see this happening. The bullying by the supervisor has been extremely hurtful.

Cost to adopt was $500.00. She was such a timid dog initially, but then opened up and bonded quickly. I can't imagine life without her! Me and my roommate came to one of their adoption events and we were trying to find someone to speak to. After about ten minutes of waiting i finally went up to someone and she introduced me to some other lady that worked there, I couldnt recall names, but when we mentioned that we were wanting to adopt two of their dogs the lady speaking to us didnt even greet us, continuously cut us off and basically told us that we were not good fits to adopt those dogs. They don't tell you everything about their dogs online, the dogs we wanted were labeled as sweet, cuddly, and timid, but this lady explained these dogs to be crazy and escaping all the time, busting out of ANY medal crate, and running their head into the glass door until they are let out. It would've been nice to know these things before applying for them. Then some other lady decides to cut in and be very disrespectful towards my roommate, here is basically what was said: My roomate: "Oh i was getting Gomez" Wiggly tails employee: "Oh your GETTING gomez, have you spoke to nicole yet" but in a very mocking tone, while this employee is talking to my roomate she has her hands in the front of her pants and her shirt up so that her entire stomach was out which I thought was complete inappropiate to do while speaking to someone else. As me and my roommate were trying not to actually cry because this lady was rude to us, she kept giving us deep breathes and rolling her eyes. I had sent in an application for one of their dogs and I brought it up to the lady we were speaking to, and she let me know that they no one even saw my application which was not fun to hear, I was let down heavily by this establishment especially because one of my closest friends highly recommended them to me for a first time pup. I work with patients all day and I ran into this lady and her niece had the same experience I did where they basically just turned her away. I'm never the type of person to write reviews but I was very hurt with the way they were speaking to us and the lack of professionalism that we witnessed. If your thinking of adopting from Wiggly Tails. I would highly recommend doing your research first. Wiggly Tails I had so much hope, but you guys were very rude and let me down.

Tiny Tots is located within a church, but they are NOT affiliated and only rent the space. At 11 months, he can't yet play with all of the toys, but he loves all of the open space to crawl and the soft blocks to climb on. He also really loves watching and following the bigger kids around. As a parent, I love having a playground that is safe and never too crowded as well as indoors when the weather is bad. I have gotten a few other families to join because it is nice to meet up there. We can relax a bit while the kids play rather than hosting a playdate at our houses. I also really like that it is a non-profit run by the parents and that it is co-op style, so everyone pitches in to keep the playground clean and well-run. It is nice to have a space we are all invested in.

The loaves of bread looked so enticing, right there as you're waiting to order, it was hard not to buy one yet. We came by for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The fresh made menu is small but I enjoyed not having to pick between 30 different options on 10 pages. Even then I had a hard time deciding between the biscuits and gravy and the breakfast sandwich. Ultimately the gentleman ahead of us in line recommended the B&G so that's what I got (a half order anyway). My father ordered the croissant and egg sandwich and my husband ordered the eggs Bennie. I don't think we waited more than 10 minutes for food. My B&G were very good, it was a slightly different biscuit than I expected but I still really liked it, it had kind of a buttery-crisp crust on it (think almost grilled cheese exterior). Very good. My husband enjoyed his benedict but my father felt the croissant sandwich was missing something flavor-wise but to be fair he admitted his taste buds aren't what they used to be now that he's 83. The outside area looked inviting, it was a nice enough day we should have sat out there. The staff were friendly and happy and quick. It was nice to see they had publications to read while you wait or games (kids and adults). Definitely returning!
