Paint, canvas, paper, folios, yarn, fabric remnants, yogurt tubs, wine bottles, plant pots, scrapbook papers, so much fun stuff to get you thinking creativity on a budget. My only suggestion is they might find a way to fill in the huge puddle right in front of their door, and that they somehow get more parking spaces!

I was about to walk out the door and leave what I was buying right there on the counter, take my money and my additional donation out the door with me until a very friendly customer offered to make change for me. I talked to the "manager" and she was not a friendly person and was rather condescending. This new policy of hers is going to end up costing them a LOT of money in lost sales and credit card charges. Her excuse was that they are a non-profit and therefore can not keep very much cash on hand for making change. This is the first time I have ever seen ANY non-profit unwilling to make change for a $50. This new policy will certainly make me think twice about going there in the future.

The first thing that struck me was for the size of the shop, there is a ton of stuff. Yet somehow it's laid out really well. I was kind of impressed by that alone. Because it didn't feel cramped and it was easy to browse. We actually found a Christmas gift for my father in-law while we were in here. It's one of those M&M candy dispensers, where it's basically the giant M&M character (in this case, the yellow one) sitting in a recliner, and you pull his arm or something and it dispenses candy. I found it funny and cute. There's a a wide variety of stuff in here. Star Wars collectibles, knives, records, comic books, you name it. If you can think of it, they've probably got it in here. The guy working in there (I'm presuming the owner since it's such a small shop) was friendly and talked with us as we were buying our stuff. Would I return? Certainly.
