I had a zipper replaced on a pair of jeans and they did a great job. Quality work. Super nice too. Would definitely use them again.

The turnaround was very quick, and for the list of things needed-I couldn't believe how affordable it was! I was told it'd be a longer wait than usual because it was wedding season (which idk if it even is anymore but okay) and i said okay. I called on that original pickup date and said i couldnt pick up my items until 2 days later (today as I'm writing this) and spoke to Natalia herself who said absolutely, pick them up on Saturday and we confirmed the date. I show up today and after they spent 5-10 minutes locating my items which they completely misplaced, she brings them out in the original bag still and COMPLETELY UNTOUCHED. and tried to blame me saying i was told it was wedding season and that I'd be called when the items were ready, which i genuinely dont remember. I just remember the PICKUP DATE AND TIME I WAS GIVEN and the CALL I HAD HAD TWO DAYS EARLIER WHERE SHE TOLD ME TO PICK UP MY ITEMS THEN and happened to not mentioned that they hadn't touched any of my items and they wouldn't be ready by then. I was asked if i could wait another week but actually no they wouldn't be ready by then either because theyre closed for longer than usual. I ultimately took my items back and she gave me a half hearted sorry with a shrug and DID YOU KNOW IT'S WEDDING SEASON. Never coming back here and will try another place in town that hopefully spares me the condescending demeanor and complete lack of professionalism.

Hands-down, the worst dry cleaner available likely in the state of Oregon…read more It starts from the beginning when I first walk up to be helped. Never is it quick. Someone yells,"someone will be right with you," yet no one is ever RIGHT with me. They are slow. Making me the customer, feel unimportant. Next, I've never experienced a dry cleaner who has such a hard time keeping my laundry together. They've lost numerous items of mine. It got so bad they had replace a few items. When this happens they acted like it was my fault. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. In reality, I am not seeking them to replace the items, I want MY items back. They just don't seem to understand that. They do a very good job at making you feel like it's your fault and not theirs. And finally, I want to address the fact that when I get my clothes back from this dry cleaner, they stink. I know I'm not the only one to experience this. It got so bad that I had to switch dry cleaners. Obviously, I wasn't aware of all these things until I experience it myself. Overall, a terrible experience. They never have a legitimate manager available. And when you do ask for someone who has a brain on their head, you'll never find one. . I DO NOT RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR CLOTHES TO THIS DRY CLEANER. AND I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH. IT'S UNFORTUNATE. BUT ALL I CAN DO IS GIVE YOU MY HONEST OPINION BASED ON FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE. And because dry cleaning is becoming obsolete. They operate under the assumption that because they are one of the only dry cleaners left in this town - us as customers will be forced to give them business. Therefore, providing an awful experience.

With that said Id like to share with you my experience... 1) customer service is chipper, with great intention and respect. more than not I am helped by someone whos been there for at least long enough to work the POS system properly. one less than superb transaction with an employee still learning the computer system IS NOT going to influence my decision or "rating." overall 5 stars! with Kathleen being a peach of a person and seemingly an owner worth working for. bonus points by going to The Cleanery- YOURE SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESSES! 2) quality goes even beyond 5 stars here. If i am unsure whether to dry-clean or launder the items I bring in- Kathleen and the manager know these answers, and answer them for me. My clothes have always come back to me looking brand new again. I am not kidding. 3) its hard to compare their prices and COST vs others because there arent a lot of dry cleaners around. so then I figure.... $4.85 or whatever it is for a shirt to look brand new again, I AM OKAY WITH. same with their pants. dresses, blouses, sweaters..... yep yep YES. If youre going to the dry cleaners with unreal expectations- expect the unreal. if you are wanting the best in town (ive tried them all), attention to detail, and realistic results - go to The Cleanery! If you have read previous reviews that target the wonderful people of The Cleanery on a personal level. noticing that one in particular does this ONLY. SHAME ON THIS REVIEW! -realize your opinion and decision to review what seems to be an experience from the inside -out ... has NOTHING TO DO with what people use this website for. clearly this is nothing more than a disgruntled employee IN SUMMARY, IF YOU NEED YOUR CLOTHES TO RECEIVE SPECIAL ATTENTION. Not surprised this Dry Cleaners Yelp page has not been claimed…read more I wouldn't want to claim it either! If you happen to check the Yelp on this before going take a look at the overall star rating and go somewhere else. I just moved into the neighborhood/ state. Was trying to find a dry cleaners and this one was local to my house. I went in to question some alterations and get a couple pieces cleaned. The lady informed me they don't have the lady that does the alterations there I would have to go to their sister location on 11th. Which I was already slightly familiar with because I went in to get some prices on getting 2 pullover windbreakers dry cleaned and they wanted $25 a piece to clean to pull over windbreakers. Which I did not get done there. But eventually made my way to their location on 11th dropped off 2 pieces of clothing to be a dry cleaned and was given a ticket for my items priced at $20. 1 dress shirt, 1 pair of dress pants it cost me $20 to get them dry cleaned. $18.98 to be honest! The alterations I ened up decided against, were going to cost me $30 just to put patches on a pair of jeans. $15 to put a piece of elastic around a top piece of material not in the seam or anything just one single strip of elastic stitched on a piece of fabric. AND..... it was going to take 1 month to get them back... So needless to say I will continue to look to fine a better price place with a quicker turnaround.

TLDR: Do not expect a professional or respectful service at Arose Atelier with the owner, Celeste…read more She didn't finish my wedding dress, rescheduled every appointment, and threatened to take me to court when I asked for a partial discount for my unfinished dress. I brought my wedding dress in 11 weeks before my wedding. Eleven. We literally talked at the first fitting about how I'd have plentyyyy of time for any final adjustments. Celeste cancelled or rescheduled every single appointment the day of, usually just a couple hours before. And the appointments I did get to, my dress was never in the prior discussed state it was supposed to be in. For the first few reschedules, I honestly didn't give her any trouble. Stuff happens. But when she cancelled what was supposed to be my "final" fitting, I started to get anxious and frustrated. My wedding was in 3 weeks and I still hadn't seen my dress finished. About a week before my wedding, I even paid to get my hair professionally done for what was supposed to be the new "final fitting." While I'm literally sitting in the salon chair, Celeste texts me -- two hours before my appointment -- that my dress still isn't ready and she needs to reschedule. My wedding was in 9 days. I decided to show up anyway. My dress was obviously not done, but I talked to Celeste in person and straight up asked her to be honest with me about whether she could actually finish it, because I needed to find a backup if not. She insisted she could do it and told me to come back in a couple days. I believed her. Huge mistake. My last appointment was one week before the wedding. I walked in to Celeste still actively working on my dress. When I finally tried it on, it still didn't fit my chest. She claimed I had lost a "drastic amount of weight" in two weeks.... crazy excuse, and basically said there was nothing she could do, while I'm standing there crying in an unfinished dress. I paid part of the invoice and left, planning to ask for a partial refund after the wedding because I just needed to get out of there. Then, on my honeymoon, Celeste texted me asking for the remaining balance. I told her how disappointed I was and that I wanted to talk about being charged full price for a dress that was not finished. She insisted the dress was finished (after admitting at my last appointment it didn't fit), refused any kind of partial discount, and that's when she started threatening to take me to court, along with some incredibly unprofessional, rude and petty messages. There is so much more I want to say as this isn't even the half of it. If anyone wants details or has questions feel free to reach out. I have every text, screenshot, timestamp -- all of it. But this seems to have resulted in irritation with us for costing her time, which meant she charged $30 for taking measurements for a custom suit, but was too impatient and annoyed with us to measure the pants as well. (At first my husband indicated he wanted to just leave, as he was tired of the interaction. But when I heard the fee, which was a bit higher than I expected, I asked if we could please proceed to measure the pants since we're paying for the measurement session. And after a long, tense silence she said "you are paying for my time," and so we left.) I think it was reasonable for us to want a professional tailor to make sure we got a custom order right. Karen seemed so annoyed at us, and frankly quite disrespectful to our intelligence, that we regretted going to see her. I completed the suit measurements for my husband as best as I could at home, using the diagrams and pictures found online. At first I had planned to inquire about her availability for alterations if the suit we order needs some tweaks. But we will not be returning.
