Well, I don't use cleaners very often. Mostly for sleeping bags and similar items. Always been pleased with the results.

Hands-down, the worst dry cleaner available likely in the state of Oregon…read more It starts from the beginning when I first walk up to be helped. Never is it quick. Someone yells,"someone will be right with you," yet no one is ever RIGHT with me. They are slow. Making me the customer, feel unimportant. Next, I've never experienced a dry cleaner who has such a hard time keeping my laundry together. They've lost numerous items of mine. It got so bad they had replace a few items. When this happens they acted like it was my fault. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. In reality, I am not seeking them to replace the items, I want MY items back. They just don't seem to understand that. They do a very good job at making you feel like it's your fault and not theirs. And finally, I want to address the fact that when I get my clothes back from this dry cleaner, they stink. I know I'm not the only one to experience this. It got so bad that I had to switch dry cleaners. Obviously, I wasn't aware of all these things until I experience it myself. Overall, a terrible experience. They never have a legitimate manager available. And when you do ask for someone who has a brain on their head, you'll never find one. . I DO NOT RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR CLOTHES TO THIS DRY CLEANER. AND I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH. IT'S UNFORTUNATE. BUT ALL I CAN DO IS GIVE YOU MY HONEST OPINION BASED ON FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE. And because dry cleaning is becoming obsolete. They operate under the assumption that because they are one of the only dry cleaners left in this town - us as customers will be forced to give them business. Therefore, providing an awful experience.

TLDR: Do not expect a professional or respectful service at Arose Atelier with the owner, Celeste…read more She didn't finish my wedding dress, rescheduled every appointment, and threatened to take me to court when I asked for a partial discount for my unfinished dress. I brought my wedding dress in 11 weeks before my wedding. Eleven. We literally talked at the first fitting about how I'd have plentyyyy of time for any final adjustments. Celeste cancelled or rescheduled every single appointment the day of, usually just a couple hours before. And the appointments I did get to, my dress was never in the prior discussed state it was supposed to be in. For the first few reschedules, I honestly didn't give her any trouble. Stuff happens. But when she cancelled what was supposed to be my "final" fitting, I started to get anxious and frustrated. My wedding was in 3 weeks and I still hadn't seen my dress finished. About a week before my wedding, I even paid to get my hair professionally done for what was supposed to be the new "final fitting." While I'm literally sitting in the salon chair, Celeste texts me -- two hours before my appointment -- that my dress still isn't ready and she needs to reschedule. My wedding was in 9 days. I decided to show up anyway. My dress was obviously not done, but I talked to Celeste in person and straight up asked her to be honest with me about whether she could actually finish it, because I needed to find a backup if not. She insisted she could do it and told me to come back in a couple days. I believed her. Huge mistake. My last appointment was one week before the wedding. I walked in to Celeste still actively working on my dress. When I finally tried it on, it still didn't fit my chest. She claimed I had lost a "drastic amount of weight" in two weeks.... crazy excuse, and basically said there was nothing she could do, while I'm standing there crying in an unfinished dress. I paid part of the invoice and left, planning to ask for a partial refund after the wedding because I just needed to get out of there. Then, on my honeymoon, Celeste texted me asking for the remaining balance. I told her how disappointed I was and that I wanted to talk about being charged full price for a dress that was not finished. She insisted the dress was finished (after admitting at my last appointment it didn't fit), refused any kind of partial discount, and that's when she started threatening to take me to court, along with some incredibly unprofessional, rude and petty messages. There is so much more I want to say as this isn't even the half of it. If anyone wants details or has questions feel free to reach out. I have every text, screenshot, timestamp -- all of it. But this seems to have resulted in irritation with us for costing her time, which meant she charged $30 for taking measurements for a custom suit, but was too impatient and annoyed with us to measure the pants as well. (At first my husband indicated he wanted to just leave, as he was tired of the interaction. But when I heard the fee, which was a bit higher than I expected, I asked if we could please proceed to measure the pants since we're paying for the measurement session. And after a long, tense silence she said "you are paying for my time," and so we left.) I think it was reasonable for us to want a professional tailor to make sure we got a custom order right. Karen seemed so annoyed at us, and frankly quite disrespectful to our intelligence, that we regretted going to see her. I completed the suit measurements for my husband as best as I could at home, using the diagrams and pictures found online. At first I had planned to inquire about her availability for alterations if the suit we order needs some tweaks. But we will not be returning.

I am so glad I found this place. They have absolutely SAVED my favorite articles of clothing from…read moreextinction. I love my vintage 60's and 70's pants collection (that everybody is jealous of), but so many of the seams were constantly coming undone, including the elastic around the waistband, that I couldn't wear them anymore. On top of that, I spilled grease on my new killer flamingo pink 60's flares the very first day I wore them! Polyester, wine and late night food do NOT mix! Lastly, I had two pairs of jeans that I had purchased used that were entirely worn out on the inside thigh to begin with, and by the time I wore them out there were actual holes in them that were a little too tacky even for me. But these jeans were t-shirt soft and 1 pair especially were my absolute favorites. To many it may have been obvious it was time to "put them down", but I just couldn't part with them. When I brought my mangled wardrobe that spanned decades of incredible fashion in for the first time, I was given really honest feedback and quoted super reasonable prices. The stain and the seams were doable, thank God, but the ability to fix the broken down fabric (read: there were gaping holes) on my favorite jeans had kind of a 50/50 success rating, as in "yes, we can do it but it usually doesn't last long and it's sometimes visible, the patch, therefore just as obvious ." I took the risk, unwilling to part with them, and am so glad I did: whomever does the patching is a freakin miracle worker. The work is not noticeable, and the reinforcement is so sturdy that I'll get many more wears out of these. I couldn't be happier. I have no idea how they did it, but it is obvious that a lot of pride is taken in their work. And if I was willing to assume the risks involved to save those jeans, someone put some extra care and magic into their work to make those pants suitable to be worn in public again. It may be a ratty old pair of jeans, but they are just awesome------the sentimental value is through the roof on these, and I cannot believe how amazing of a job they did. Just today I dropped off a favorite pair of light full-length jersey gauchos that were a MAJOR thrift-store score (I get stopped a lot in them) because again, SOMEone (I won't say WHO) spilled some kind of oil on them while sitting, then tried to get away with just washing them until their roommate asked them-----after coming home from being out and about all day, no less----if they wet their pants. Um, yeah. Not a good look. Not sure why I just assumed nobody would notice. So I tried to use SHOUT but some things are only fit for the pros...... I just dropped them off at Masters and cannot wait to pick them up. I already know that they will be back to their awesome selves, and am so glad to have such an awesome service (that I can afford, too), nearby to take care of me since apparently I need all the help I can get. Ultimately, I totally appreciate the honesty of this business, who clearly values the integrity of their work. Personally, I couldn't be happier with their service, their professionalism, their kindness, their prices, their genuine honesty----instead of saying "Yeah sure we can do that" and having the patchwork look like crap when I pick it up.........no, quite the opposite: I was told of the risks but still cannot believe how incredible of a job was done on my old mangled favorite jeans that only an owner can love. When I went in to thank them profusely, they were so appreciative and humble. I think it's so important to give compliments and praise when it's due, and they far exceeded my expectations. So thank you, Master Cleaners! I will never go anywhere else, and would encourage anybody to trust you with their valuables! P.S. I find their services to be inexpensive----and I am on a very limited budget---yet sometimes that really implies "cheap". I want to stress that the quality of their work and the kindness of the staff make them priceless, truly. So much so that if they weren't already on Yelp, I told them I was going to add them! And CLEARLY I'm lazy if I can't learn to sew, patch or even put a napkin over my freakin lap when I eat! :)
