I had a brand new, never worn dress altered for my birthday, and not even 1.5 hours into the event, my straps they had previously shortened completely broke off my dress. It was embarrassing, and I'm super upset I spent $60 for alterations that ended up just letting me down. Between the price of the dress and the alterations, I had spent well over $150. The dress is ruined. I wish if they weren't confident in shortening the straps of my dress, they would've let me know and I would've taken it elsewhere. Having it break that fast is crazy. I won't be returning. read more

I took my wedding dress here for alterations and am extremely pleased with the result. Natalia and team shortened the dress perfectly and made a few other minor alterations that made my dress fit perfectly. Very timely, great service, great quality. We'll be back! Btw they have a new location just across the street from the center they were in before. read more

I have taken various article of clothing over the years to Natalia's including my Australian rain slicker and lately a pair of pants recently that needed alterations that I needed for a wedding in less than a week. She is great! Never had a complaint about her work and I trust her judgment when I'm not sure what to do with an fitting need. I am amazed watching her multi task when her shop is busy. She is my tailor of choice. read more

We've been going to Natalia's for approximately 5 years and are always highly satisfied. She knows exactly how to alter items to get the best fit! read more

Natalia gave me the best experience I've ever had with a clothing service. She was immediately warm and welcoming towards me, and even helped me outside of her usual working hours to fix my botched prom dress. She was always accessible through phone or text, and was happy to help me with any request I had for the garment. She told me multiple times that she just wanted to help me feel pretty, and did exactly that. Amazing conversation, comfortable atmosphere, and an extremely talented seamstress! At the end of the day, she gave me an amazing price for all that she had to fix on the dress, and even offered on her own to put some crystals on the lace for me to help me feel even more beautiful. Thank you so, so much Natalia! You saved my one and only Prom read more

I called the shop needing just a little bit of advice and they were so helpful and friendly :)

I think this is a fine place to go for basic tailoring needs, but I've never had a good experience with anything more complex. On three different occasions I've been told that what I wanted done (all having to do with shortening arm length and not seemingly THAT complex) could not be done. On two of these occasions, I had the work done at Natalia's anyway, after she came up with an aesthetically compromised fix, and it was done in a passable way (but not great). On the third occasion, I took the garment to another tailor who made it look great. I very rarely write mediocre reviews on Yelp, but I have to say that this place seems over-rated. A bit of an assembly-line feel, hurried service, and not easy to "get to yes" re: problem solving. read more

Great quality service- I needed some 25 year old wool slacks from Germany let out, they were very creative to completely redo the waistband. Skilled and professional and reasonable price. read more

So I've been coming to Natalia for so long that I forgot my old Yelp credentials to update my review. Even if this gets flagged as a duplicate user I want people to know that she's still incredible. Fair prices, quick work, top quality, very accommodating. I bought three blouses that were $150 each. First off, I'm not really the kind of person that can afford to spend $450 on three shirts like it's nothing. I had buyer's remorse as soon as they shipped out and planned on returning them, but, as soon as I put them on, I unfortunately knew I had to keep them. They were so insanely beautiful, delicate and flattering. They did, however, fit a bit awkward in a few places because I'm not built like a California supermodel so I decided they could really benefit from a few tweaks. Before I started coming to Natalia the idea of having someone adjust half a thousand dollars of clothing would give me insane anxiety and I would suffer through the things I didn't like to not have to risk ending up in a worse situation. This was a no-brainer for me now, though. As soon as I decided what I could do to make these tops perfect I was in my car and on my way to see her! You do have to have an appointment to come in because of COVID, which I did not know because I didn't have the sense to check first. She was still very polite and let me drop my things off anyways. It's been less than a week since I've taken my items in and I already have them back in my possession. The tweaks I had her do (couple of zippers, couple of snaps, a little fabric mending) look like they should have been a part of the design all along. I never would see these tops and think they've been tailored. Thank you Natalia. You have done such a beautiful job as always. read more

Got my dress and veil steamed overnight. Looked gorgeous and wrinkle-free on my wedding day!

I had to get a button replaced and a tear fixed on the lining of my jacket and she looked at me and said, "it's too cold for you to be without your jacket. You go eat lunch and come back. I'll have it fixed for you." Charged me $7 to fix both things. read more

Competent, fairly priced, gets stuff done on time. The best in Eugene.

So I posted a couple of days ago about my disappointment in this shop. I then removed my review because I am to receive a full refund. Which at that point I didn't expect because there were parts of my dress that were done well. However, I had to take my dress to another seamstress today and when we removed the sash the entire waistline fell down..... she literally put her hand thru the hole it left. I could not believe my eyes, so yes I will take my full refund, thank you and no worries I will never go back there. Thanks for wasting my time and pushing me right to the deadline for my wedding. read more

I was so impressed with the quality of my alteration (on a complicated gown) and by how nice both ladies were. The shop is easy to find and even though my alteration was only scheduled to take a few days, they called me early to let me come and pick it up. This was a really great experience and I can't imagine taking my clothes anywhere else. read more

I had a multi-layered, floor-length chiffon bridesmaid dress to tailor and Natalia did an absolutely fantastic job. The dress fit beautifully after her alterations. She is very friendly and enjoys getting to know her customers just as much as she enjoys her work. read more

I brought in an expensive pair of jeans 3 days before I needed them for sorority recruitment. Natalia did a wonderful job and was able to use my original hem! Her prices are extremely reasonable! read more

Natalia is the best! I've had almost every single button-up shirt I own altered by her, and each one fits superbly. I've also had tears repaired in a few pairs of jeans, a couple pairs of pants hemmed, and even trusted her to tailor my suit. Every single job was impeccably done. Now I just have to find a tailor in LA that does as good of a job for the same price.. read more

I really liked her. She's not chatty, or wanting to know this or that from first appearance like some people are. I'm not chatty myself so I really liked that. I just told her what I wanted and she did it and didn't want to argue with me that it would look "too tight" or "not becoming for a young lady" like a few other alteration people have told me in town and I had to argue with them to do what I wanted. In/out/she did a really good job. What I really appreciated was she said they would be done in one week, and they were done in one week. I didn't have to call and follow up, or call and ask when it would be done two weeks later, or be told "let me find your item I'll call you back".. She's professional with a nice place. I will be taking read more

Needed a beaded dress altered and had no problems getting it done. Fast and courteous service. Will definitely go back.

Great alterations for really decent prices. I've taken my wedding dress, multiple cocktail dresses, and dress pants here. The work and attention to detail is great at Natalia's. read more

Extremely quick, professional and so reasonably priced. Truly a hidden gem in the 5th Street Market. She's altered all of my bridesmaid dresses and I will definitely go to her when I have my own wedding. read more

Just moved into the area and I needed some skirts to be repaired and altered. I was establishing care with my new primary care provider, Dr. Jinnah from Oak Street medical and alterations came up. Funny, I asked him who he went to and he recommended Natalia's Alterations. He told me that he takes all his pants there and she does a fabulous job. Coming from my physician, I took his recommendation! Took my clothes there for alterations, this woman is direct and to the point and amazing at what she does!! I couldn't have been happier. She is sharp and gets the job done! She's invested in her quality of work and customer satisfaction. Best recommendation as a new resident to Eugene... She is highly recommended! Thank you Natalia and staff for doing such a great job! 5th Street Market on the second floor. read more

Natalia does superb work for a very reasonable price. I have taken several items to her. I bring my alterations to her from Seattle when visiting family. She does a great job and I would recommend her to anyone. The reviewer who had the unfriendly experience seems to clearly be in the minority as everyone else has given her five stars as of this date. read more

Nice lady. Direct, knows her stuff. Talked about style and stuff. Ok. Thanks for making my suit fit

I tried on my dress two weeks before my wedding, and it was TOO BIG!! On the recommendation of a friend I went to Natalia's. Even though my friend said no appointment necessary, I called to confirm. And she said come by any time. I was suspicious! I showed up, and Natalia quickly put me in a room to try on the dress. Then she pinned it, recommended I put cups in it, and boning on the sides. I thought this was all an up-sale kind of thing. But to add the cups was only $15! And then the bustle was $10! I was told it would be ready in a week. A week later I went in and picked up my dress. It fits flawlessly and the addition of the cups and boning made for a more seamless look. My dress is beautiful, it was done when she said it would be and for all the work she put into it, I paid a measly $110. The stitching is exquisite. Thank you Natalia! I will be recommending you to everyone! read more

I had an excellent experience with Natalia. She was patient and very helpful. She adjusted the sleeves on a pair of sport coats form me and did an excellent job at a very reasonable cost. Very satisfied and I highly recommend her!!! read more

I had an absolutely terrific experience with Natalia. I went there to get suit alterations done. Natalia gave me fabulous advice and did a first rate job with my alterations. Her price was quite reasonable, turnaround was quick and customer service was great. I enjoyed her dry sense of humor and appreciated her patience with me in the process. Highly recommended! read more

I decided to check Natalia out after reading all of the great reviews on Yelp. I have an extremely busy schedule so Its nearly impossible to coordinate my schedule and commit to an appointment. I dropped in while running a few errands expecting a wait or an appointment time. Natalia was very kind, she had me put the items on so that she could pin what needed altered and told me they would be ready the very next day! I was also surprised at how reasonably priced she is! I love what she did and look forward to working with her again. Such a pleasant experience. I highly HIGHLY recommended! read more

She is skilled but not friendly at all. She is inpatient and will rush you. She is a very unpleasant person

I had one outfit in my closet for 9 months because I didn't know where to get it altered. I then bought a bathing suit with strange straps which finally prompted me to find an alteration shop. I went to Natalia's based off of yelp reviews and was not disappointed. I was very surprised at how cheap both alterations were - $25 combined. The owner was very friendly to me, and even had her grandchildren there when I was in. I will go back. read more

I have had several items altered at Natalia's, and found her work to be excellent. She actually fixed a disaster from another alterations person, which was cool. She completes work in a timely fashion, is knowledgeable, but is a tad on the expensive side (minus one star). Recommend! read more

This place is incredible! I brought in my bridesmaids dress 3 weeks out and the dress was done less than a week later. The dress had a lot of taking in and the hem needed to be shortened by 4 inches. I couldn't believe she had such a quick turn around. This is the only place I'll ever go for alterations. read more

Cute little alteration shop. It was a bit hard to find as we parked on the opposite end. She was very nice and professional. It took roughly a week turn around for a wedding dress and bridesmaid dress. Pricing is decent. Would definitely return for any other alterations. read more

I went to Natalia's after reading several positive reviews. I wanted to tighten the waste of a nice pair of jeans. It requires cutting the jeans on the backside as well to make them fit tighter. The initial quality on the stitching of my jeans was off. I pointed it out and Natalia fixed it. When I took the jeans home I realized they were still to big. I brought them back. My jeans are now perfect. My take away: Mia hits happen. Each time I felt uncomfortable returning the jeans but Natalia was incredibly kind and committed to making the jeans fit right. I would come back in a heartbeat. read more

This was my first time at Natalia's Alterations and Tailoring. I was so delighted to find a local tailor that knows how to get the job done quickly and professionally. I had a long maxi dress that I couldn't wear for a while since it was too long. Natalia was able to hem it and have it done to fit my schedule! It looks just as good as when I bought the dress, only now I can actually wear it since it fits me! I was very happy with the final results! Natalia also offered to fix my casual blazer at no cost with an immediate blind stitch.  She's very talented and does a fantastic job. She went absolutely above and beyond. I highly recommend Natalia's Alterations and Tailoring to anyone.  Thank you Natalia & Staff for your help! read more

Natalia 1. shortened legs and widened the waist on my "Trachten" pants; 2. installed a zipper "handle" on my jacket while I waited; 3. installed a new zipper on an another jacket, and 4. shortened the single strap on my canvas bag. I found Natalia based on a friend's recommendation. I brought several items in June to be tailored for a conference I was attending. One of those items was a suit jacket. I needed the sleeves to be a little shorter. I paid extra to have the sleeves of this suit jacket shortened but still capable of being unbuttoned, and rolled up. It was reasonably priced and I was quoted that everything would be done in a week. The night before I was supposed to pick up everything I got a call from Natalia asking for an extension for the suit jacket sleeves. Normally I'd be fine with this, the shop was super busy when I was there, but I was leaving for my conference and couldn't pick the jacket up any later. I apologized but she was very professional and said she'd have it done, which she did. I picked everything up the next day as planned, quickly looked over everything, and left. I wore the jacket at the conference but did not roll the sleeves up (It was in Washington DC, they're very formal there). Fast forward to today, I wore the suit jacket to a presentation. I tried to roll my sleeves. The sleeves were sewn shut. I'm annoyed that I paid extra to have this done correctly and it's not. I'm more frustrated that a fast one was pulled on me. I would have used her services again because everything else was perfect. Now I won't. Check your clothes when you pay extra for certain alterations. read more

I just had my wedding dress altered here and couldn't be happier! It fits perfectly. Natalia and her staff are amazingly talented, friendly and so helpful.
