Being a larger-framed man, it's never easy to find clothes that fit well. I have been purchasing from Duluth many years at this location, but this time was worth writing a review. I have always appreciated how they will give you the same pricing as their website, no matter what the sale, and do it with a smile. Not to mention if they don't have your size, they ship you the product for free. I wanted to write this review because of our experience with Lu. When it was time to check out, she greeted us with a smile, asked if we had any questions, and started checking us out. She mentioned there were gift cards that got us an additional $40 off our entire order, and we could purchase and use them that day. This was on top of the store already having 25% off all items. She asked if it was ok, as it would take a few minutes, and we said of course. She kindly chatted with us as the process proceeded and we set up having an item shipped to us they didn't have. Ever since I had first shopped at a Duluth Trading Company in Colorado on a previous trip, I have been wanting to come back to purchase more clothing items (I like to shop in person to try things on, get a feel of the material, etc instead of shopping online). So I was glad to find that there is a Duluth Trading Company in this part of Oregon (there is also a location in Portland). Duluth Trading Company is dog friendly (another reason why I really like this brand). So my husband, our little girl dog and I stopped in a for a visit on a week day night last week. We were greeted immediately when we came in by 2 friendly employees who were putting up Christmas decorations by the front entrance. These 2 employees just loved our little girl and seemed so joyful and delighted when she came in (a normal response that I know others have also experience when they have met our little girl). Then after that, we began browsing the store. My favorite part of the store was the clearance section in the back, by the men's section. I always seem to find things that I like in this section, which is great at the discounted price. And even better than there is no sales tax in Oregon, so I am saving even more (at least that is what I tell myself). Overall, we had a great shopping experience and am sure if I lived in this area, I would shop here more often with our little girl. read more

This is one of my favorite stores to visit, much better the one at Jantzen Beach in Portland. Pretty decent selection, except they really need more big and tall, especially for jeans. Lots of other goodies too, especially for the man who has almost everything. Worth a stop if you're driving through on I-5. read more

The Brand is Quality and the staff are definitely Customer Service. The store is clean and welcoming, well lit and friendly. I really enjoy seeing the vintage motorcycle and sidecar when we first walk in. I usually hear a 'Welcome in!' Every time the door opens, giving you an idea where to turn if you are looking for staff. The prices are a bit up there, but you definitely get quality gear when you buy something there. I messed up the other day and purchased the wrong items. Right sizes, wrong style. Of course I had tossed the receipt and trashed the packaging AND laundered the clothing...... and THEN I realized my mistake. This outfit is so Customer Service oriented that all I had to do was give them my phone number so they could pull up my sales records (definitely worth giving them your info for this very reason). I found the proper style I wanted and they just did a direct exchange, no fees, no hassle, AND they apologized to me?! Wow, I made the mistake not them! Service is friendly and exceedingly helpful but not over the top. The quality of their product is excellent. The women's shirts have extra buttons down the front, and don't gap open. The value is there, as they wear well, and keep their shape after repeated washing. I have found it is helpful to sign up for text messages about their sales. read more

WORST.COMPANY.EVER!!! If there is even the slightest chance you may need to send merchandise back for a refund under their 1-year warranty, DO NOT BUY FROM DULUTH TRADING CO. I have been waiting for my refund for THREE MONTHS!!! I call religiously every two weeks and am given the exact same response every time: "not sure what's going on with your account. I'll send this over to a supervisor and we'll get this handled for you right away." TOTAL BS! Be warned - this is not a company who is concerned about customer satisfaction or cares how much of their customer's time and money they waste. read more

My girlfriend and I went here to get a pair of shoes for me. She was wearing a pair of Blundstones that they happened to have in the store, and we had two separate employees came up to us asking if we need help. One of the employees looked my girlfriend up and down and let us be until we left, where she ran up to us asking if she was wearing their shoes, accusing us of stealing simply because she owns a pair of shoes they have in the store. So just a warning: don't wear Blundstones there if you don't want to get accused of stealing. read more

This store and website has a great selection of quality, classic, and practical clothing. My husband and I have owned Duluth products for about 20 years and found the clothes to be extremely durable and comfortable; we have yet to wear out any Duluth article of clothing. The Duluth brand clothing generally runs large. The Alaskan Hard Gear line offers some great options,and also runs a bit large. Prices are reasonable. If you want to be treated like a shoplifter just for walking in the door, come on down to Duluth Trading Company! They're anxiously awaiting your arrival! My husband and I went in Tuesday evening around 7:30 or so. We went to Michael's next door for some yarn and decided to check this place out since we'd never been in. We were immediately greeted by an employee standing at the entrance. This fabulous greeter also demanded to know what we were looking for when we walked in, and not in a customer service oriented way either. Apparently wanting to explore a brand new store that just opened is a crime. Or at least that's how she made it seem. She also attempted to take the large bag of yarn my husband was carrying from Michael's, and when he said no, we were followed through the store for the entire visit. The number of employees they had working was astounding for an empty store void of customers besides my husband and me. Every single one of them (I counted 7, including a loss prevention officer complete with a bullet proof vest) spoke to us (a couple several times) while we were there, demanding to know what we were looking for while we were there. I also found a couple just staring at us as we walked too. We found some nice clothes while we were there. My husband is destructive when it comes to clothes and shoes. I buy him Grunt Style shirts just for their return policy because I get my money's worth! In this store my interest was pants for my husband since he needed new ones for work. Props to them for having the fitting rooms open too, otherwise I wouldn't have purchased anything. Plus they looked like the kind he can't destroy in a week just by wearing them to work. My husband took one single pair into the fitting room to try one. I've worked loss prevention in the past, and one item isn't typical shoplifter behavior. If we had taken a bunch in, I'd be suspicious too. But one single item certainly didn't warrant being stalked by their employees and watched/talked to three times in the time it took him to try on a single pair of pants. I also found a pair of yoga pants that I loved after trying them on. After each trying on a single pair of pants, we went to pay for them and leave. The employee who cashed us out demanding personal info for their system to keep track of all receipts. I told her to simply print it and hand it to me. She was snotty and had her resting bitch face nailed. Needless to say, I didn't feel like interacting with her anymore than absolutely necessary. This was a store where I got the impression they didn't actually want to sell clothes. They wanted to catch shoplifters or scare people into not shoplifting. Once we actually bought stuff, the "customer service" attitude from all of them disappeared and out came the snotty bitchy attitude. The loss prevention guy with the bullet proof vest on was a bit creepy. Like, why? Seems like overkill. Would I return? Haha, no. Not in the foreseeable future. I'm not a fan of being stalked and treated like a shoplifter just for walking into a store. Never realized that was a crime until now! I've done loss prevention work in the past, and I know what to look for, and neither my husband nor I displayed any standard shoplifting behaviors, or gave them a reason to literally stalk us in the store. It was ridiculous. Which is sad because they actually have good clothes, and could have returning customers. But it's simply the employees who ruined that chance. I want to return, but I want to return to a store I feel welcomed in, and this isn't that store. read more

I love their cotton firehose work pants. Their high quality clothes usually fits a big person so I choose a smaller size if in doubt. Their return policy is as good and quick as that at Costco. I tried to return a sweater that was covered in "pills" after one washing but they said it wasn't a manufacturer defect. The return policy states that they stand behind the craftsmanship and durability of their products but they don't. The $50 sweater looked so bad I left it with them. read more

I've read the reviews and I've never had any issues while shopping. I've always been greeted and offered assistance in locating items. If I'm just browsing, they have told me to just let them know if I need anything. I've always found the employees to be very kind and helpful. I do agree that the prices are a little high, but I'm willing to pay it for well made, quality items that last. Thus far, I've loved every item I've purchased. They do occasionally have sales. I was just in the new Duluth Trading. I've patiently awaited their opening. It was delayed due to COVID. The store is beautiful, displays wonderful & the prices are great. My beef? No one greeted me when I walked in. No one said "Welcome to Duluth". I was there about 20 minutes checking things out - I picked out a jacket & a shirt. Associates were wandering around. Still no one said anything. I had wandered past the fitting room in my roaming. So I tried my things on. No one asked if everything fit. I hung up my jacket & folded my shirt. And left them on the bench. I gave the store a final walk through & was leaving but at the last minute I decided I needed to use the restroom. They are beautiful by the way. On the way in an older gentleman(an associate) asked how I was. After my visit - I decided to leave. I decided to head toward the yakking. It was 2 associates holding a conversation. They turned toward me when I came around the corner & said nothing. Nothing. No "Thank You for coming in", No "Come back & see us". NOTHING. I understand we are in a difficult time. But some customer service speaks volumes. Visiting the store requires effort. It says that person has money & is willing to spend it. If not engaged - they will take their money & business elsewhere. I have been going here ever since they opened . I enjoy the employees, all outgoing and friendly. I personally didn't mind the guard though I haven't seen him in awhile, it was nice knowing they didn't want thieves in there and making it a shady place . Duluth is so underrated. I have worn carhart for 20 years. Until Duluth , now my wardrobe is almost all made up of there brands. From work clothes to more dressy and casual. They always have great deals going on, the clothes are super comfortable, look and fit good, and last. read more
