So excited this place is here! We went opening day and it's not often you feel a place is truly prepared for the grand opening. This group nailed it! They had chicken swag, clean everything, and what seemed like every employee on pay roll there today. Our food came out fast, hot, juicy, tender, and man was it good! It's a small menu and it doesn't need to be any bigger. We both tried #3 which is a slider (let's be real, it's the size of regular chicken sandwich), a tender, fries and pickles with Dave's Hot Sauce. You even still get a slice of bread under the slider and tender. The hot and medium are very similar in flavor. The cashier said it perfectly, the medium is about the flavor and the hot adds the kick. So much food and it's not even the most expensive thing on the menu. We also tried the vanilla milkshake and that was super yummy! Word of advice, dip your fries in it! YOU'RE WELCOME!! P.S. If you choose the grab the rubber chicken, take it out of your purse before you run errands... I'm glad there are new places opening up in Temecula like Dave's Hot Chicken. Outside a worker was greeting guests and employees were on their game wearing cute funky chicken bandanas. The menu is limited but it makes it easy to narrow down a choice. There are four options to choose from ranging from $9.99 to $13.99. all four options are served with fries. An additional slider cost $6.69 or chicken tender $4.69. there are several different heat options so I thought I was going conservative choosing medium. I ordered the number #4 (medium) which included a slider and fries with a side of pickles for $10.87 after tax. When you pay with a credit card the cashier spins around the screen for you to select a tip option, and it's automatically set to 20%. After I placed my order I was offered one of three free swag items: the rubber chicken, a beanie, or a pin. I wanted a beanie and a pin but it was a limit of one per person so I chose the beanie. I got my order to go and opened it in the car. At first I was a little disappointed because the bun looked smashed and the order looked plain, but after I open the chicken sandwich and peaked around I noticed it came with slaw on the bottom and two pickles with sauce on top. I was also disappointed that the order came with fries because I don't really like most fries, but let me tell you, after I ate my first bite I was pleasantly surprised. That was the best fry I've ever had! No joke. Hot and crispy with flavor. I peeled off a piece of crispy batter from the chicken slider and oh my, the medium was much hotter than I expected. The pickle by itself was ho hum. But my bite with the bun, chicken, slaw, and pickle was tasty. The Dave's sauce really brings the flavors together well. The chicken portion was generous and looked like real chicken. I will likely be back if I'm craving fries with Dave's sauce. And if I were to order the chicken slider again I would get mild or no heat. If you go, I'd recommend eating the food inside while it's fresh, hot and crispy. The to-go styrofoam boxes will make it soggy. It's be nice if they used a recyclable paper box instead. read more

Got the #1. Place was packed at 11am. Food came out hot, quick and accurate. Chicken was cooked to perfection, juicy inside and perfect crunch on the coating. My first mistake was to order through grub hub so I was charged more for the order. The site stated when the order would be ready so I left home early in the hope it would be ready. I arrived and it was ready so by their timing it would be ready 4 minutes before I got home . The place is 11 minutes away. Due to the timing the food was cold. The fries that I think were frozen were rubbery. The chicken was cold but tender, the size of the tender was generous but it was very 'crispy' . The taste of the slaw was good. The pickles were crispy. I asked for napkins and cutlery as can be seen on the receipt which are no where to be seen.
