I noticed the sign on the door saying Happy Hour $5 special. You can choose 5 pieces of dumplings or a boom boom taco with a premium drink... HAPPY HOUR $5 DEAL: 10/10 I really enjoyed the dumplings and especially that sweet and spicy sauce that came with it was so satisfying!!! Their strawberry drink was very refreshing too!!! CHICKEN TERIYAKI BOWL: 9/10 The Chicken and the sauce was delicious! I was just expecting some before too but, I guess you have to order the veggie and teriyaki chicken bowl. I've been going to Yoshinoya since I was a little girl so it was my expectation that the veggies will Shay's come with the chicken... AMBIANCE: The outside looks like a Barn or a red shack. Sorry to say that the food was just not good. The service was okay because you basically order at the counter and pick up your food there when it's ready, much like a fast food restaurant. In fact, this is basically the food quality, fast and not thoughtfully prepared. I ordered a chicken bowl with no rice. I couldn't eat it. Nice option for vegetarians! They have tofu plates and fake beef plates. If you are a fan of the Trader Joe's fake beef strips then you'll like the beef strips here! Really good! I knocked a star off because the fake steak could have been cooked just a bit more. However it was still yummy! The salad was surprisingly good and they are generous with the avocado when you upgrade your plate to include it. The portion is pretty big and I was able to get almost two meals out of one plate. I was excited to see a sign on their window that advertised plant-based steak bowls. I am always down for some good plant-based or vegan dishes and thought this was a great opportunity to try Waba Grill. I ordered my bowl and chose the brown rice and vegetables to go with my plant based protein. My Bowl was ready in about 5 mins. It looked great. The rice and vegetables looked and tasted fresh. The protein wasn't bad at all. The texture was great but I was turned off by the overly sweet and salty teriyaki sauce. Placed an online order and service was still terrible. Your customer service needs help. I paid for sauce online. Got my order, no sauce. Asked Leo for sauce. He gave me the dirtiest look and handed me two. I asked for more. Again with the dirty look. I asked if there's a problem? Do I need to pay or something? Well today I was sorely disappointed in the serving size. This is a side of chicken for over five dollars in a very small bowl. It basically comes down to a few bites and that's it. The other times I've gotten just a side order it's actually fit in a white container and been a nice amount. I don't know what the cook was thinking. One of our "go-to's" lately. Filling and yummy! The veggies are a little al-dente so if you don't like your veggies crunchy, maybe skip them. Rice and chicken/beef bowls are both great. We have also tried the tofu bowl too. Yum. The dumplings are good but cool very quickly. Eat them while they are hot! We usually choose the spicy Waba sauce and it's delicious. I went in there today the manager is very unprofessional he's yelling at his employees I over heard the nice young man with the beard say " it's a good thing I came in a earlier today" there was a massive rush and the manager just started raising his voice for no reason. I confirmed it was mine and said thanks on my way out, all I got was a blank stare. Food: mine was decent enough. My wife said the same until she found a bug in hers and couldn't finish her meal. Food - the food selection is great, they also have different combo combinations. It's very tasty and satisfying. The price is reasonable and you get a free bowl when you sign up with their app. Service - the service is very fast, lots of people go in and out constantly and very little wait. My only disappointment was that the first time I use the app with the free bowl promo, I asked the person on the register to upgrade it to a plate, he said no problem, so I gave him my order, but when I received it, it was not upgraded. I have even ask if there is an up charge that I am willing to pay for, but he said no and not a problem. It's either he's not paying attention or we didn't understand each other. This chain is another one that I used to drive by in other towns but there was not one by where we lived, so I was not able to try it until our recent move to Temecula. I was on the south side of town not knowing what I wanted to eat, but knew I wanted something healthy. I ordered via the website and loved all of the choices and ways I could customize my meal. Not everyone loves waba sauce on salmon , my husband loves the sauce but the kids don't .Surprised that they didn't put waba sauce on the dumplings.
