I'll start by saying I screwed up. I ordered online and something I did had me order from a store too far away from work. I called this store to see if there was ANYTHING we could do to cancel my order or get a refund or credit. Any solution would have been ok. I was quickly told " sorry , we have no control with online orders, so we can't refund". Again, I get this was my mistake but I was hoping for some kind of help in this situation and I wasn't given it. So I came in on Sunday 8/18/24. I spent close to $30 dollars on food. I asked the host I I could get two Waba sauce packets, she said that I would have to pay for them. Really! The guy at the register said he could not sell the family dinner due to they dIdnt have the trays for the family dinner. I asked him I if he could put the family dinner in other containers. His replied was , " My manager told me I can't use any other containers." How in the hell can u advertise a family dinner without having containers for it? I really love this place, it has amazing food and a wonderful dinning environment. But I don't recommend going there in the evening, I was there yesterday at about 7pm after just getting out of the gym and ordered a rice and veggies salmon bowl and I also asked for the veggies dumplings. I never got the order of dumplings and when my bowl arrived the veggies were very sadly cold. I didn't ask for them to be reheated because I wasn't in the best mood but they should have been heated properly to start with. The teenage staff seemed more concerned about talking about what parties they've been invited to instead of the customers. This WaBa is the worst I've been to. Tonight was the 3rd time I got a bowl with avocado and the didn't put it on. So once again I over paid for chicken broccoli and avocado and they didn't put it on. I guess the jokes on me for not looking until I got home again. So I went back this time and they gave me this stank rotten looking avocado. I looked at the kid while he put it on just to see if he would care that he's putting an over priced nasty looking avocado on my cold bowl...nope! To the owner of Waba Grill. Your employees seem to not know how to follow instructions. Four times I've been there I ask for my wife's food Waba Grill chicken, brown rice, beef, veggies no sauce. Every time I go home my wife yells at me because I didn't look at the order right . Today they messed up again. They added all beef plus sauce with white rice. I took it back to them and said hey it's wrong I read the instructions again to we read it together second time chicken beef with sauce brown rice. I get the guy's attention and say hey it's messed up again it has that brown sauce my wife hates . he makes it again he's frustrated this time around and it seems to be right. I get home and guess what. My wife now has white rice,chicken ,beef veggies. My wife wanted Brown rice. Oh and in my order I had brown rice and I hate Brown rice. This is probably the worst tasting food on Temecula Pkwy. I wasn't expecting much being that it is Asian "fast food", but I couldn't be more upset with the $31 I spent here. Upon entering Waba grill, I was hit with a strong cleanser/ ammonia smell. That alone made me think, how can this not affect the taste of the food. Then, the cashier asked for my order, and they asked if I wanted avocado or onions. I declined the avocado, but said yes to the onion. Thinking that I would have to wait at least 5-10 min, I got all the condiments ready to go. Well in 3 min, my order was ready and I was surprised with the quick service, but shocked that they tried to fit 2 plate boxes and two bowl in one single shopping bag. Luckily I had my daughter to keep the bowls from tipping over. I got home and opened my box and was shocked at how dried out and brown the meat was. I was expecting a fruit salad, but got an orange. I was expecting onions, but only saw green onions- huge difference! Someone needs to notify that cashier. I tasted it and it tasted like beef jerky and overly seasoned. My husband opened his half and half bowl and was surprised to find 3/4 inch of meat and almost 3 inches of rice packed in. It was so hard to eat the rice because it was almost like glue or cement. If I had to compare Waba to Flame Broiler, I can't- there is no comparison. Flame broiler is 100 times better. So in conclusion, their sign said it was fresh- not! For meat to cook in 3 min, I've only seen that done in the microwave. They say that it is healthy- not! The seasoning alone was probably as much sugar as 2 sodas. On a good note, the Orange was sweet. Safe to say, we'll never be back. And such a shame , because I was waiting for a healthy alternative on Temecula Pkwy. read more

Had lunch here today and I really enjoyed it. The staff was attentive and nice. The selections of meat were: chicken, beef, and salmon. (Healthy and fresh like flame broiler.) Personally, I like having the option of salmon and their hot sauce tastes more like Sriracha than Tabasco, which I'm not a fan of. Husband got the chicken bowl and I got the salmon plate and a drink and the total came out to $17.81. Not bad for lunch! The only issue I had was that the dinning area is always packed! They really need to consider putting tables and chairs out in front for more seating since inside seating is cramped enough as it is.
