Our family has been coming to this sushi restaurant for years. It's our go to sushi place whenever we are in town. We have tried other local sushi places around the area and we always find ourselves comparing everything to this place. It's not a fancy high-end expensive sushi place where you need reservations days or weeks in advance. On the contrary, it's a small sushi restaurant that's part of a several chains of restaurant in town in a strip mall and it's a first come first serve basis. The environment is very pleasant and quite intimate. It's got just enough lighting and ambience to make it feel very homey and comfortable. There are a few TVs around to watch sports if you need to, but otherwise it's a nice place for dinner with family or friends to just enjoy good food, beer from the tap and chill and have conversations. Over the years, they have changed some of the menu pricing and different types of specials but nonetheless everything here is top-notch in my book. If you are ever craving for fresh oysters, this is the best right here! The rolls are a good size as well as the sashimi which is always fresh and highest grade and taste excellent every single time. I've always been a fan of this place. Conveniently located and high quality with excellent service , what more could one ask for? They were 5 stars in the past and now just blah. Not sure if they don't realize their regulars see evidence of shrinkflation but they raise their prices and at the same time decrease their quality? Here's a great example of the chirashi bowl in the past and present. Had some for the best in the area in the past with several parts of squid, salmon, yellowtail and even salmon roe. Now they raise their prices and sub it a lot of it with giant pieces of ahi tuna ? That's not even sashimi and it's gross. Some of the sushi were really good and some were extremely not for me (the ones that had lemons) were too lemony amd sour that overpowered the flavor of the sushi. Also a really big turn off for me was their table cleaning splution that smelled sooo strong that it overpowers the smell of the food. Each time i take a sip of my soup and take a bit of my food, all I smell is the chlorine. I hope they can tone it down. read more

Hot night roll and Golden Hana roll has sweet chili sauce instead of sriracha and spicy mayo, and few other rolls we had were too sweet and fat belly trio didn't taste fresh. But ye specialty rolls taste similar to the Hana sushi in Rancho California, were it taste like Chinese food vs sushi. My friend and I stopped in here on our way back to her house, since we both had been craving sushi. They have a lunch special posted on their door and menus at the tables that includes two rolls for $22. Since the rolls range from $11-$19, we decided to go for the lunch special. I called because I got a door dash order. No chop sticks anything to eat it with. It's our fault because we didn't say we needed something to eat it with. We are staying in a hotel they Delivered to us. Okay fine we can eat the sushi with our fingers. We also got two kids chicken teriyaki. No sause on either one. The chef says he put it on. I always go here for their lunch special and the times I went I've had great experiences there, but today wasn't the day. I asked the server lady for some lemon wedges and she brought me out three "slices" so I was like "ok, whatever". I kindly ask the other guy server if I can get just a couple more wedges from him and he had brought them out to me. When it came time to pay, she charged me $2 for LEMONS! Whaaat?! They're just lemons! I didn't ask for an overly excessive amount it was just a couple wedges. I am a server myself and for her to do that I was not happy. If I were to charge, I'd let the customer know ahead of time. She didn't mention anything nor never checked up on us. All I know is I'm not going back here, because the service was HORRIBLE!!! I came on a Sunday afternoon and the place was kind of the empty. My partner and I were quickly greeted and seated. The rolls arrived fast. I really liked the lemon roll I ordered. The prices were decent too. I liked that there was no loud music playing, and I was able to have a conversation without having to raise my voice. The worst customer service I have ever experienced -- from the server all the way to management. With so many great sushi restaurants in the valley, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. Not only are they extremely overpriced, but their attitude toward customers is shocking. Halfway through our meal, we were asked to move tables. They also brought the wrong roll, and when I politely asked for the correct one, I was lectured about their "no exchanges" policy -- even though the mistake was entirely theirs. Hana sushi is pretty good by standard in my opinion, but ive been to this location a few times. The servers are always really friendly and when i have done take-out they're fast and the process is easy. I usually get a rainbow roll and some type of baked roll (my favorite from here has baked salmon on top but thin lemon slices with each roll). My only complaint is that they are so expensive for sushi around here. The food is good but i feel like there is much better sushi with more fish added onto the rolls for the price you pay here. read more

The sushi was warm and made me sick. I love how they use cheap not fresh sushi and you can taste the difference. Once I informed them I was sick by their food they tried to say it was me and not their food no one else complained. I wanted to complain immediately but instead of ruining your business and informing you between two groups that freshly sat down I grabbed my stuff and left and made a call. I have never threw up food before and ever. They gave me half a refund and I'm grateful for that but the remaining $50 of sushi is going in the trash. I would not recommend this place.
