Came in for a pedicure. The nail tech kept on badgering me for more services that i did want. She did a poor job.

Multiple cuts on fingers, a mess underneath, my sides of finger were hurting till I filed down myself and were crooked. My pedi was very short no massage even though I got the mid price one. And barely cut around my cuticles, the lady seem to be the main one there but did terrible. It's been only a week and already need to be redone. read more

I just left Daisy Nails I took my daughter to get a fill. This is her first fill since deciding to try nails out. When I went to pay for my daughters nails Daisy asked to see my hand and started laughing I asked what was funny and she said pretty. I said I know they're pretty right. I knew she was being shady. I was gonna say something rude but instead kept my cool. I have gone to plenty of nail shops to know they're mad cause you didn't get the nails done there. I just thought I will never bring my daughter here again she does not deserve my money. I am 43 years old and have had nails since the age of 12. I actually used to go here off and on from like age 15-24. I have my own lady I go to who actually worked here in the early 2000s until she opened her own shop. She has since retired and sold her shop but kept a few customers. She is very good at what she does I go once a month for a fill and don't have lifting or broken nails. I didn't take my daughter to her cause I wanted to make sure my 14 year old daughter liked having nails before I ask if she will do her nails because like I said she is retired. Today I made the decision I will NEVER give Daisy Nails my money. To top it off she is the owner her name is Daisy I guess a coincidence cause she is not original owner from the 90s. My mom will not return for her pedicures anymore either. Shame on you Daisy cause that's the example you are showing you're employee Tracy since you said it right in front of her. read more

Today I got a full set and pedicure and I was highly dissatisfied. During my pedicure I did not get a foot massage with lotion or warm towels wrapped around my legs. I wanted medium length nails and they came out very short and crooked. I asked for square square shape and the edges are round. The acrylic is thick and uneven. I wanted to get French tip but the acrylic was already lifting along the cuticles. I ended up getting full color and it looks like I need a fill since the paint job was so bad. Just got a gel fill from Linda and I must say I am very impressed! I asked for a shape change (from wider square to a narrow shape) and gel color change from black to 446 (lake wood) which I absolutely LOVE! She takes extra care, cutting any dead skin even after completing the manicure and pedicure and does a great job on French manis. I'm giving this place 4 stars because of Linda and Gracie. Gracie is usually my go to, but yesterday they were busy so i was not able to sit down with her. Who did i get!? The older lady. I think her name is Anna. I got there exactly at 10:15am, she took me in at 10:21am. She didn't finish until 11:50am. ELEVEN FIFTY!! All i got was a fill. You'd think she was crafting me a new hand with that amount of time. My nails look nice, but dammit lady people have things to do. If you have nowhere to be and have all the seconds...minutes....hours....days....weeks in the world....go to her. If not, try Gracie! She's fantastic. QUICK and EFFICIENT. From there, she started getting more and more rude, and every time I suggested anything, like : please I want my nails shorter, or please can you file the corners a little more round, she would look at me angry and upset and stared to treat me in a very rude way! My first experience was great cause I met my favorite girl Heather! She has left Daisy Nail and I am heartbroken (IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE SHE IS LET ME KNOW PLEASE) She worked so hard and I never had any complaints. If anyone else did my nails Id have such a hard time. I don't know if it was the polish itself but the last layer never reached the end on all nails. Sometimes even lint was left and not fixed. My eyebrow favorite is Helen! She also takes her time to leave full and straight eyebrows. She is super sweet and friendly. I really hope she doesn't leave too because my heart won't be able to take it. If I could give them 0 stars I would. The first time I went they did decently but the last 2 times have just been awful. My nails keep braking and chipping! Bare in mind i get GEL! HORRIBLE! So my mom and I both went in for a pedicure today her girl(Beth I believe) is the only girl I would recommend! The girl who did me(I was so irritated I didn't catch the name unfortunately) was something awful! Didn't ask me what pedicure I wanted, didn't push my cuticles back, there water stained me green so when she tried to get it off she used the foot scrubber and scratched me, and my polish job....let's say it's on the cuticles she didn't cut! After when my mom and I tried to confront her she could care less! Now me being a cosmetologist and esthetician you apologize first right......ahaha nahhh she didn't give a shiz! She's all no problem no problem.... Nothing was done by anybody in the entire place to apologize or anything of the sort! I used to go to Bao in Venice, LA. But I live in Rancho cucamonga now so I tried few places to find right place which would satisfy me. I'm very picky because I used to do my own nails so I'm familiar how they should be done perfectly. After few salons one of my friends suggested me Daisy nails, I didn't like first try but when Wendy told me go to other girl but she wasn't available at that time,so I came back to get done with other girls there I decided to give a second chance. I don't believe it but I eventually found Helen, she did my nails they way I wanted and I love, love them. After two weeks they still look great! I definitely go back to Helen. Everything was so good, not even extra gel left on my skin or on my nails, perfectly accurate. She is true gem. If I didn't find her I was going to drive to Bao. Absolutely horrible customer service. I went the first time and the girl did a disastrous job on my acrylics. I went back the next day and the owner gave me attitude about fixing them after making me come back. Then I tried them again and they sent us away because they were too busy and told us to come back in an hour and that they would make us an appointment. We came back after the hour and they made us wait another hour! I complained to the manager and she brushed me of. I refused to get my nails done. Do not go there it's not worth it. read more

I walked into this place and was slammed by a wall of acetone smell! I usually don't care about this, but this was excessive. I'm sure I would have left with a headache. The lady asked if she could help me from one of the stations. I hate that, it's so awkward cause everyone in the place stares at you. But I told her a manicure and she asked me to pick a color. The color wall was small to average size, but the bottles were all different brands, no organization and the colors liked old and very used. By that point I did something I've never done before which was walk out! To be fair, I should say that I am pregnant, so the smell may have freaked me out more than normal, but still it was really really strong. It's a beautiful cool day, so if they just had the door open to add some ventilation it would have helped a lot. Still wouldn't have been impressed though. Won't be going here again. :( read more
