Excellent. Worth a 2nd and 3rd trip back so you can sample more on the menu! Worth the wait. Service was outstanding. Fabulous flavors.

Our Goddaughter wanted to go try this place out and I had heard some good things. Besides, I wanted to see what they had done with the old Blue Rose. We got a reservation which I recommend but there seemed to be plenty of seats at the bar if you're dining solo. We started with the shishito peppers and I loved how the bonito flakes were literally dancing on top. I liked the flavors but all the peppers we ate were extremely mild. (Eating shishitos can be like playing Russian Roulette). I would order them again. Our crew ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, the Mushroom Udon, and the Fried Rice w/Pork Belly. We ordered sides of the corn ribs, the caramel carrots and the zucchini. All of the entrees were delicious. Know that the Udon and the Fried Rice are smallish servings. Of the sides, the zucchini was my favorite followed by the carrots. The corn ribs had a great flavor but were super messy to eat. We had a couple of As Told by Ginger cocktails (their version of a mule) and the butterfly pea tea added such a great color. These were quite drinkable! (Read delicious!!) The cocktail menu is pretty eclectic. There are a few beers on tap. We rounded out our evening with the truffles. Perfect bites to end the meal. The only criticisms I had: *Our server could have been a bit more smiley and helpful. There are so many inventive fusions going on here, it would have been nice to had a rundown on the menu. *It was HOT in the restaurant. *This is an expensive undertaking! *The portions are small. I would definitely order the Udon again. I would also be tempted just to order each and every one of the sides. I would return, especially for drinks and appetizers.

Located in the former Blue Rose Cafe along the Arkansas River is this well decorated Asian fusion restaurant and bar. I've been so excited to try this new restaurant that just opened not too long ago. I came into town to visit my family and my sister and I went and loved every dish we got! We ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, Cucumber salad, shrimp Udon, 1 pork belly skewer and two cocktails - tropical depression and they had a special drink of the week (or month? I forgot). Both drinks were really good! We loved the cucumber salad! Very refreshing to eat in between the mains. I think the udon would've been easier to eat if it were not in a bowl but rather a plate. They said each dish is enough to share and they were right! Big portions! I loved each dish we ordered. Service was fast but we also went at 5pm which is when they opened. Diners started coming in pretty fast. We had a reservation only because I figured it would be hard to get a table. It is a pricey restaurant so I think I'd only go on a special occasion

We tried this place for my birthday and it was our first time checking it out. I could have done better with getting pictures of food but I failed because of how present I was for this great experience. First off, the food was fantastic. The garange chicken was amazing. Next we had the Shrimk Udon which was breathtaking. I definitely recommend that dish. And for the other shareable we had the shishito peppers. The lady that served us did a great job explaining the dishes. It was almost like she made everything on the menu herself. Great experience!

This is the new restaurant that opened two weeks ago where Blue Rose Cafe used to be on Riverside. This Asian smokehouse concept comes from the people behind two Tulsa favorites: Lone Wolf Banh Mi and Chicken and the Wolf. The ambiance is great, whether you sit inside or outside. The red lights dragon on the ceiling welcomes you as soon as you walk inside. It has an intimate yet casual feel, especially if you choose to sit on their patio to enjoy the river view. The menu has a mix of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese inspired dishes. Items are meant to be shared and portions are small but hearty. The smoked corn fritters are some of the best I've tried. Extremely flavorful. I wanted to love the ahi crispy rice, but I wouldn't order it again due to the ahi-rice ratio being off. Too much rice, not enough ahi. For entrees, the fried rice and udon noodles are a great pairing. We added smoked pork belly to the fried rice and got shrimp with the noodles. The Thai chili in the shrimp udon made it my favorite. The spice level was perfect paired with peanuts and the citrus of the lime. Highly recommend. For cocktails, my favorite was Tropical Depression (pineapple rum, banane du Brasil, Demerara and lime). My husband enjoyed the house old fashioned. They have a separate wine and beer list. For dessert, we got the dark chocolate tart. It was extremely hard to cut since it was so dense, but once we managed to, I liked that it wasn't too sweet. Finally, service was great and responsive! It was easy to make a reservation online and the host immediately sat us down. Our server was very attentive. Our water was refilled multiple times through the evening. I'll definitely come back.

Pleasantly surprised with our experience at Daigoro . The view gets even better at sunset! The restaurant is smaller than I expected, it spared go have more seating outside than in, but both settings are beautiful. Inside is moody with a huge lit up dragon art piece/light fixture and outside you get riverside seating with good views and a great breeze. They have covered and un covered seating and umbrellas for shade. Our server was amber and she was sweet and informative, helped us narrow down our indecisiveness because everything sounded good. We ended up with an old fashion, yuzu sour, karaage chicken, shishito peppers, and shrimp udon noodles (spicy), and yuzu donuts for dessert. Thoroughly impressed with all 3! It's been a while since we have been wowed with everything we've ordered! Everything has a TON of flavor and left you wanting more. The portions weren't huge but we shared everything and both left feeling full and satisfied! Great place for birthday dinner, bringing guests from out of town, casual dinner, any occasion really! We can't wait to come back and try more.

This building has had many restaurants come and go over the years. Finally it has been transformed into an upscale Asian-Fusion and Korean BBQ restaurant that has been beautifully designed and completely renovated from its previous owners. Now that the low water dam project on the Arkansas River has been completed, the outside deck has a spectacular view of the River from its high perch. The bartenders and servers were on top of their game and very friendly and knowledgeable. As suggested by our server we first tried the smoked corn fritters. Wow they were fantastic with a nicely smoked flavor. My wife and I shared Kung Pao Chicken and Fried Rice with Brisket. The Kung Pao dish had a good amount of spicy heat to it. I thought it was delicious. The Fried Rice was also quite good but I was quite disappointed with the Brisket. There were only 6 or 7 chiclet sized pieces and 4 of them were nothing but total fat. Very disappointing considering the cost. For dessert we had the Truffles. There were 4 squares of chocolate dusted with cocoa powder and they were delightfully smooth and scrumptious. A nice espresso would have gone well with them but I don't think that was an option. Loved the experience and look forward to return soon. The Friday evening we visited there were no reservations available from 5-9pm, it was that busy. We had to wait for an open table outside on the deck. We didn't mind the wait and the deck seating was worth the wait. Daigoro has in fact been open only a few weeks but everything seemed to be running smoothly. Prices were slightly higher than I was expecting and the wine selection was definitely on the pricey side. Don't expect to find many choices under $50-$60 a bottle. Also disappointing was the lack of any bottled or canned beer save for one lonely Japanese IPA which was actually really good ($8.) Some suggestions to the restaurant, throw a few more bottled wine selections in the $25-40 price range. Add more bottled or canned beer options and feature some of Tulsa's awesome local brews on the menu. Trim your brisket so that you are not serving pieces of fat.

We star Well, we had an excellent meal! We tried fourteen menu items. The starters were great. The karrage chicken was crispy and had a nice glaze on top. We enjoyed the yuzu dipping sauce that came with it. The corn fritters were also tasty, although the glaze didn't adhere to them as well as the chicken. The wings were good, but I felt the smoke flavor was overpowering. The sides were also good. The carrots were flavorful and soft, and the zucchini was good, although I think it would be better served as eggplant because of its inherent moisture. The Caesar salad was a generous portion and very tangy and flavorful. The mains were delicious. The plain fried rice was rich and flavorful, and it was cooked perfectly. Don't be deceived by the photos; it's actually a rather generous portion. The brisket fried rice was also excellent. The ribs were just okay, and I wouldn't get them next time. I don't think post oak is the best wood for beef. The pork belly and filet skewer were awesome. The kung pao chicken was the star of the show. It seemed like a weird menu item for upmarket Asian food, but it was very tangy and paired well with the sticky rice. The dessert was also great. The donuts were nice and warm, and we enjoyed the yuzu middle. The ganache was rich and enjoyable. Overall, it was a great evening, and we all really enjoyed our meal. We can't wait to return! I love the wolf dragon light.

Super fun happy hour spot. We came around 4:30 so the crowd was small. We ended up at the bar and they had an amazing happy hour! To experience the happy hour, you must sit at the bar but the vibes were great, the bartenders were attentive and informative. Once we got our food we were in shock! The price + the quality were top tier. Definitely would recommend 10/10. One of the nicest happy hours in Tulsa.

After heeding the recommendation of several of my friends, I finally managed to make it out to Daigoro on riverside in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We rolled up to a beautiful setting and were greeted by a friendly host who seated us immediately despite our early arrival. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. Unfortunately, the food was not to the same standard as the service and atmosphere. We started out with the cucumber salad and the corn fritters which were okay. We then followed our starters up with the kung pao chicken and the shrimp udon. Both of our main courses were saturated with sauces that were super sour. None of us could eat more than a bite or two of each item. Perhaps it was an off night or perhaps it was the items we ordered, but I don't see a return visit. There are simply too many better options in town (imho).

    - Daigoro Late Night Hits Every Time Daigoro after dark? A whole experience. We pulled up late night and left with full bellies and happy hearts. Everything we ordered was hitting--no notes! The Kaaave chicken? Listen... crispy, juicy, and seasoned with just enough kick to wake up your taste buds. The fried rice was packed with flavor--none of that bland stuff. Every bite felt like comfort in a bowl. That cucumber salad? Cool, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. It gave that light crunch between all the savory goodness. And the pork skewers? Whew. Tender, smoky, and grilled just right. Definitely a must-order. - Poor lighting on the patio Service was . Our waiter was helpful and responsive. Even volunteer an photo moment. Late night or not, Daigoro knows how to deliver bold flavors and chill vibes. If you haven't been yet, what are you even doing?

Atmosphere Daigoro's atmosphere is nothing short of stunning. Natural wood, black leather, and backlit bottle displays give the space a curated, artful feel. Structured ceiling beams add weight, while warm lighting keeps it intimate. It's modern, poised, and strikingly restrained. The showstopper is the glowing red dragon coiled through the ceiling. Service Service was provided by Megan and Josh--both delivered excellent hospitality, striking the right balance of attentiveness and ease. I had the chance to meet chef and owner Philip Phillips, whose presence in the dining room reflects a clear investment in both vision and guest experience. Dining Cucumber Salad Bright and beautiful, this dish combines fermented miso, crisp cucumber, pickled onion, and peppery chunks of radish for a refreshing, well-balanced bite. Notes of peanut and a citrus-like brightness round it out, while the radish adds a subtle crunch and variation in texture that enhances the overall composition. Hamachi Crudo - Yuzu Ponzu, blood orange, serrano A stunning crudo that flirts with pièce de résistance status, this dish delivers a masterful balance of sweet, acidic, and subtly salty. Bright bursts of ponzu awaken the palate, followed by the rich, clean flavor of hamachi and a refreshing finish of blood orange. The hamachi shines on its own, but the sauce works in perfect harmony--elevating without overpowering. It's refined, vibrant, and impeccably composed. Cereal Shrimp - Thai Chilli, curry leaf, Nestum Cereal The shrimp are big, bold, and beautifully cooked--plump and tender. But the rice-based batter turns gummy, undermining the texture. The first bite delivers a nostalgic, toasty crunch from Nestum cereal, followed by the shrimp's buttery richness and a whisper of Thai basil. However, with each bite the sugar hits--sweet on sweet. What begins as intriguing quickly devolves into cloying excess, as the cereal's sweetness smothers everything in its path. The dish cries out for a contrasting flavor or something to counterbalance the sweetness. Grilled Miso Caesar The Caesar opens with slightly fermented miso, followed by bright acidity from the dressing and grill char, finishing with the richness of crispy chicken skin. While clearly not a traditional Caesar, the fusion doesn't quite land--the miso dominates, making it feel more like a creamy miso vinaigrette than a balanced Caesar-Japanese blend. Mushroom Udon - Garlic, Thai Basil, and Kaffir Lime Rich sweet salty umami notes from the sauce lead into earthy mushroom, finishing with mild notes of kaffir lime and Thai basil. It's umami on umami on umami--initially satisfying, but quickly tipping into excess. The dish is sweet, and a generous amount of sauce pools heavily at the bottom. The flavors become overwhelming and repetitive after a few bites. Midway through, I encountered a large whole leaf--likely kaffir lime or Thai basil--which, once bitten into, temporarily overwhelmed the palate. Baby back ribs, smoked, glazed, with a strawberry gochujang sauce The ribs lean slightly dry, with each bite dominated by an aggressive black pepper crust that overwhelms the overall flavor profile. While hints of sweetness--possibly strawberry--peek through at times, they're quickly buried beneath the intensity of the spice, especially black pepper. Notes of smoke and char add some depth. The ribs are notably hot. Fried rice A standout entrée on the menu, the fried rice is beautifully balanced and expertly executed. The cook on the rice is perfect, with layered notes of smoke, ginger, soy, beef, and grain all working in harmony. Every bite offers a satisfying exploration of flavor, without tipping into palate fatigue. The addition of crunchy peanut provides a delightful textural contrast in just the right measure. The dish is nuanced, composed, and genuinely well done.
