Kimchi Fries, cinnamon sugar wonton chips, and Cilantro Pesto Chicken bahn mi

Stopped in for a quick lunch while in Greenwood and was delighted to see friendly, warm faces and a full but not overwhelming menu. I'd heard lovely things but glad to experience it for myself. The food is a bit on the pricier side but it is in an upscale area and comes out hot, fresh, and fast especially for the lunch hour. It was delicious with every bite. I haven't eaten much fusion cuisine, but Lone Wolf seems to get whatever it is right. It's eclectic/hip, so vibe!

I've been here many of times but always got one of their rice bowls but today I wanted to try the banh mi. I've never in my life had a banh mi (I know, sad right?) so I got the Kung Pao pork banh mi. It was very good, the carrot and daikon mix was fresh and gave a refreshing bite to the sandwich. The pork was very flavorful with juices dripping out with every bite! I already can't wait to try their other combos!

My friend told me I had to try the fried rice here, and her recommendation did not disappoint! I loved the amount of different protein options and the various sauces. I had shrimp and cilantro pesto aioli in my fried rice, and it was delicious! The portion was large and the flavors were very complementary of each other!

Super yummy! This was my first time here, and my friends who frequent here love it. I ordered the Pao, and it was delicious. The pork was flavorful and the bean sprouts brought a good crunch. The guy taking our order was asked a food allergy question by a friend of mine and he took the time to help find her the answer. The other staff were eagerly waiting nearby to bring us our food and remove any empty dishes. The seating isn't the most comfortable, but the food tasted good enough to overpower that con. I would happily come back!

First time trying bank mi sandwiches and have been a fan of their subsidiary Chicken and the Wolf. So why not try Lone Wolf. When entering, my wife and I were greeted immediately by really friendly lady. We told her that it was our first time there and she took the time to explain everything with great patience. We ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and Cilantro Pesto Chicken with a side of Kimchi Fries. You are provided a number and drink cups. The self serve soda fountain is around the corner in the dining room. We selected a table, sat, and had a short wait for the food. While waiting, there is music playing overhead that is enjoyable. An employee brings the food to your table and inquires if you need anything. If not, they are on their way. The sandwiches were both good and the sauces (we chose to have on the side) complemented each sandwich well. The kimchi fries were spicy. However, the fries were overcooked. Overall, the food and service is good along with a clean restaurant. Enjoy!

The service was fast and friendly. The food was tasty and the place was well taken care of. Staff members even came by to check if I was enjoying my meal.

Pesto Chicken Salad, $10.50 prior to tax

Lone Wolf Banh Mi is located in downtown Tulsa, on the corner, next door to Que Gusto with outdoor (uncovered) seating available. Metered and paid parking lots are available (free parking on Saturdays). I really wanted something healthy for lunch since we had barbecue the other day for a meal and figured I could benefit from something a little lighter. I ended up picking this eatery but I regret it. When my husband and I came in, we were greeted by an employee behind the counter. After looking over the menu, we ended up purchasing: Pesto Chicken Banh Mi, $10.50 prior to tax- My husband decided to get a sandwich which has chicken in a pesto sauce and peanuts, shredded radish shredded carrots and cilantro. The radish and carrots were not pickled but tasted like they may have been brined (?). The bread itself was fine and soft. But the sandwich itself was pretty lackluster. This is not what I would call a banh mi. This sandwich was served with chips that tasted like a churro. Pesto Chicken Salad, $10.50 prior to tax- I liked that there is an option to make any of the sandwich offerings into a salad. I had basically the same thing my husband had but over freshly washed spinach (and of course no bread). I had liked the salad until I found 2 pieces of hair in it (another Yelp member has a photo added to this Yelp page showing they had found a hair in their food too). None of the employees were wearing hair nets (but those with long hair did have their hair tied back) or hats, which surprised me (and really should in order to avoid this reason of finding extra fiber in their meals). -------------------------- (Total= $22.78 after tax) Wait time for our meal was longer than expected, which took a little over 15 minutes. It really shouldn't take that long to make a banh mi, at least it isn't back at home in Los Angeles, where we reside. This place is too hipster for me and I just had a feeling that this place would let me down. If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese food, you won't find it here (but then again, this is Tulsa, Oklahoma. I've lowered my expectations).

Really cool vibe. LGBT friendly, i personally love the Lone Wolf logo. Staff was friendly, not a long wait and it's in the heart of downtown Tulsa. After we ate dinner we walked to The Center Of The Universe and went to a few local places all within walking distance. Makes for a fun evening! I had the Babb Mi fried chicken, minus the jalapeños. My friend had the Pao Bowl. Really good food, very different. The foods infused into a really nice flavor. The cilantro with the cucumber and the sauce all of it infused very well.

Didn't try the banh mi, but ordered the fried chicken brioche sandwich with Thai chili aioli which was delicious! This came with chips, and was so scrumptious and perfectly crispy and juicy on the inside. My friend and I were very hungry because we hadn't eaten since 10 am for breakfast, and this definitely satisfied our hunger/cravings!

    Kimchi fries and "spring rolls".

Overpriced, funny tasting and poor service. I ordered the kimchi fries with pesto chicken. Not a good flavor combo. I struggled eating it. Too much cilantro and the spring rolls were just eggs rolls. 3 inch egg rolls. Very deceiving. I ate it but because I only hate wasting food. The cashier was very pushy and I felt rushed. Other than that it's clean and the music wasn't very loud.

It was a good size serving and you get whatever topping you want for free (yay sprinkles!). The Taiyaki had the right amount of chewiness and crispiness. Definitely would order this again. But there's the thing. If you take it outside, your soft serve is going to disintegrate. It just will, because the heat in Oklahoma is stronger. I ran back inside and they gave me a bigger cup, in which I placed my original cup, saving what was left of my dessert. I probably would request a larger cup for this purpose alone, knowing what I know now. The workers were helpful and friendly. I especially appreciated their willingness to answer questions about my order. There are places to sit, and I think it would be good for individuals, pairs, and very small groups (4 max). Usually, I don't use the restroom in public establishments. It was decent. All in all, if and when I come back, I will stay inside to avoid the heat attacking my dessert.

Instead of a simple greeting like "Welcome to Sonic," I was bluntly hit with "What do you want?" over the speaker. No courtesy, no professionalism--just attitude. I let it go and said I had a mobile order for Larry, only to be told "pull forward" in a rude, demanding tone. It didn't get better. When my food came out, the employee practically shoved the bags into my face--aggressive and completely unnecessary. At that point, it was clear this wasn't just a bad moment; it was a complete lack of basic customer service. I called the store to speak with a manager, hoping to resolve the issue. Instead, I got even more unprofessional behavior. The manager dismissed the situation with "I'm not the one who did that." That's not the point--you're the manager, and it's your responsibility to address how customers are treated. When I pressed the issue, she escalated things further by cussing at me over the phone. Completely unacceptable. I've already filed a formal complaint with corporate, but given that complaints appear to be outsourced and handled with little accountability, I'm not holding my breath. If this is the standard of service at this location, customers should seriously consider going elsewhere. Respect costs nothing--and this place seems unwilling to offer even that.
