Pei wei is super fast and great staff! I love their thai basil chicken it's so delicious and spicy!

Maybe a 3.5. I'm comparing Pei Wei to Owasso's other fast food Asian place, Panda Express. In that sense, this might even be a five star review. Pei Wei is super bright and clean inside. Service was quick but not the cheeriest. I did a take out order of crab Rangoon, Kung Pao chicken and spicy Korean BBQ steak. The entrees are pretty big. I did like the Korean BBQ but would probably order a different chicken dish next time. It was fast and convenient. read more

Today I had a chance to try the new Pei Wei in Owasso over lunch. Gotta admit, I went into this with the whole mindset of "taking one for the team", since, well, it's Pei Wei.... Planning on a take out, I parked and went in. I was greeted by a very friendly young lady who promptly took my order and gave me a hockey puck buzzer thingy. I barely had time to open up my phone and check email before the buzzer went off and my order was ready. Cut to home. As I said, it was takeout, so expectations were pretty low right out of the chute. Gotta admit (again) I was surprised. The entree was just over $13 with tax and for that I got a respectable amount of food. I went with the Hot Honey Chicken and steamed rice, and it turned out to be amazingly good. Just the right amount of heat, plenty of flavor and everything cooked properly. The place itself is fairly small with limited seating, so I get the impression the business model is "get your food and go", which is fine. I read online they are only open until 6pm, so that's gonna limit options to lunch time for me. I'm notoriously snooty about franchises, preferring local joints when possible, but I wanted to give Pei Wei a shot just so I'd know, and this time, I'm glad I did. read more

I was pleased with my experience. The staff were attentive and friendly. The place was clean and well kept. I had the Pad Thai and it was great for a chain restaurant. The portion was large. The price was reasonable. The ingredients seemed fresh. I was there shortly before closing, so as I finished they were doing some clean up in the kitchen. Great! The food and service were amazing. Yummy food! Great dumplings and lettuce wraps.

So I thought wrong. I thought you sit in and order but its basically take out, they have tables inside and outside to dine in and they can bring your order to you. Its self serve drink station unless you order one of their fancy refresher drinks off the menu. Silverware and condiments are provided right along the drink station. We sat outside since it wasn't 100 degrees out. Our food came quickly and then we were checked on by I'm assuming management. I wasn't wowed but happy to have given this new place a try. I had orange chicken, it was good along with the lettuce wraps. Service was fine. The tables were clean as was the restaurant itself.

Ate lettuce wraps here on 6/8. Didn't eat a lunch that day and only had a protein shake for breakfast. I finished up and headed home around 5:30. Within an hour of eating I felt sick. I ended up vomiting all night due to food poisoning. I made a report with the health department. I was contacted today by the health department and they confirmed it was due to the chicken not being stored correctly. What is most upsetting is that the health department stated this was not the first time this location had been cited for the same violation. Do better Pei Wei!! read more

I tried the salmon poke bowl. One side was plain white rice. The other side of container was salad greens. Then small chunks of salmon, not sure, but I think they were raw was coated in some sort of sauce, that was kinda like thin thousand island dressing, but was served over salad instead of the rice. Then had wontons. They were ok. I thought PW was fairly expensive to takeout. For 1 entree and appetizer it was almost $25. The food is great but hours short closing at 6:00pm. Was disappointed to see a young, short, oriental woman with very short hair in the food area scratching her hair/scalp multiple times and keep working without washing her hands. Management was present while this was happening and acted as if it was not noticed. Was it not for the head scratching experience I would have rated 5 stars but am taking off one star. read more

The salmon poke salad bowl is legit. Never thought I'd be a fan of semi warm salad with cucumbers, but it works, very well in fact. Comes with a huge side of rice, that's where the "warm" comes from. The salad weighs a lot too. Lots of good for the money. Highly recommended. read more

DoorDash messed up the order, manager was nice help to replace the items that were missing.

The food was good. I do wish they put more vegetables in their meals. It's pretty sad actually. I could tell the person taking the order was having trouble understanding me so I stated two times I wanted Mongolian chicken off the low calorie menu. I ended up with Mongolian Beef off the main menu. And of course it was at a higher cost. I wish I had waited a couple of minutes because she was replaced with someone else. So, make sure you look at what they ring up. I did not check the service marker as indicated in this review because I don't think getting the order wrong is good service. Yelp wants to think for me.
