The Spectrum Center may be one of the most diverse Asian food centers in Tulsa. Restaurants representing Burmese, Japanese, Korean, Thai and Malaysian have set up shop here. Now we have Chinese to round out the Asian food "spectrum." Dragon China. It is a small comfortable, pleasantly decorated mom and pop, with friendly service, reasonable prices and filling portions. Excellent value lunch specials start with Chinese chips and salsa, and a tasty cup of soup. Our soup choice, the hot and sour. Good, nice flavor. The lunch plates were delivered in minutes. Sticking with Americanized offerings we went with the General Tso's. The General's was a plate full of chicken, good fried rice and a fair egg roll. A satisfying plate of food. The Generals chicken can be described as follows: lots of meat, not too sweet, with perfect heat and it was more than I could eat. Dragon China is a good, solid, small Chinese restaurant. It might become your favorite.

Service was great! I actually don't remember the name of my dish but will post next time I go with the name of whatever I get. We had egg rolls as appetizer which were fresh and delicious. Thank you Dragon China! We will be back for more Yum!

Today I asked if they could prepare #11 with less salt. #11 is Kung Pao chicken. She brought me…read moreMoo Goo Guy Pan. I went ahead and too it because I'd never had that dish and I had heard it has the lowest sodium content of just about any Chinese dish. It had quality ingredients but not much flavor. Next time, I will ask if they can prepare Kung Pao Chicken with less salt.

It's been a while since I came back to Chopsticks. Not much has changed. A few items have been…read moreremoved from the menu. The restaurant still caters Korean/Chinese food hybrid, predominantly Chinese food though. A few positive features worth mentioning. I really like the inside of this restaurant. It always appears very clean. The food is relatively cheap when comparing to the like of Chengdu. Hot tea is served in a hot tea pot, not in a cup. YES! YES!! YES!!! I feel like the Korean food at Chopsticks lack the "Korean" flavor. If the server did not tell me the Jampong soup is Korean, I would have thought it's Chinese. The beansprouts, cucumbers, Napa cabbage, and seafood scream out Korean but the taste says something otherwise. It really does have a generic taste. The Mapo tofu has soft tofu in some sort of shredded meat sauce. It's a little salty but goes well with white rice. The white rice was a little hard on this particular visit. I guess it's going to be another 6-12 months for me to come back to try Chopsticks again. Sigh...
