A dear friend of mine invited me out on a Saturday and I suggested Roka, one of the most reliable restaurants in town. We arrived around 4pm and, to my surprise, there was plenty of seating available. We were sat by the host and our server came shortly after. I can't recall her name but she did have great suggestions and delivered quality service. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken (reg) while my friend ordered the Sweet & Sour (sm.). The meal arrived in almost record time! I was delighted to look at our colorful, carefully assembled, plates. My meal had a considerable serving size and an even better taste. The chicken was soft, tender and juicy. With compliments from the peppers & rice, I couldn't have been more satisfied. My friend (who is picky) wasn't a fan of the mix of peppers & pineapple but I think she liked it more than she cared to admit. Overall, I had the most pleasant afternoon at Roka thanks to the everpleasing service and most tranquil of settings. It's important to show appreciation to the institutions that you enjoy, which is why I will continue to support/enjoy! I want veryone to know just what dirty, rotten, greedy, selfish, dishonest, ungrateful, owners, mike and lisa are, who own wok wok chinese restaurant located at 1731 s. sheridan rd, tulsa,ok. i had the unfortunate experience of working as a driver for these 2 greedy, selfish, uncaring, dishonest thieves! mike and lisa stole hundreds of dollars from me from my wages over the 3 months i worked for them! they barely gave me back any of my delivery charges for fuel and kept the majority of them all for themselves! they even had the audacity to leave some of my deliveries totally blank at the end of each shift and felt entitled to me doing these deliveries for them for free! no compensation on those they deemed not worthy or far enough in distance from the restaurant! i strongly suspect that they also made deliberate miscalculations and further stole more of my wages than just that! they were stealing at least half of my daily wages from me! they do this on a daily basis to every one of their drivers! i was using my own vehicle putting tons of miles on my car and lots of wear and tear on my tires, my brakes, and oil changes as they had the audacity to take my delivery charges and keep the majority of them for themselves! in the 23 years they've been stealing from their drivers, they have stolen upwards of probably a half of a million dollars, no joke! after confronting them about their greed and dishonesty, they did not give a damn about me laying out my entire case for the wages they refused to fairly and honestly compensate me for! they would not stop stealing from me and would not change anything that they were doing, though i confronted them several times! i was forced to quit my job after 3 months after i had left my previous job of 4 years to come work for them! now i am jobless and running out of money, as they have greatly affected my quality of life! i suffered all the bad consequences for all of their bad choices! it did not affect or hurt them one bit! they have no consequences and will suffer no consequences for their actions! do not come to this restaurant and support these dirty, rotten, greedy crooks that own wok wok named mike and lisa! they are fake and talk bad about their customers behind their backs and their employees as well! they portray themselves as good people, but inwardly they are nothing but thieves who take advantage of and live and consume off the labor of their employees! they werethey were the most corrupt and greedy bosses i've ever worked for in my 30 years of being in the work force! as they were stealing my wages from me they would ask me every time i walked back in the door from a delivery if i got tipped by each customer! they knew my tips would be affected because they knew that the customers would automatically assume i received the delivery charges and that as a result that most of them would not tip me at all! they pretended to care as they sat back and enjoyed watching their evil game! they enjoyed stealing from me and even encouraged each other to do these things to the very employees that worked so hard to keep their restaurant running successfully! they are very bad people and they do these things because they can! mike and lisa should be in prison for embezzlement! they are nothing but 2 criminals that need to be brought to justice! read more

Context: I Used DoorDash The Order: General Tso's Chicken: mild heat, Orange Chicken, Spring rolls, Beef Lo Mein -First Look: They used the typical Styrofoam packaging but it had "have a nice day" embossing. Presentation is out the window but the food has the standard Chinese food look. The chicken breading has a thick sauce on it that's brownish orange. Looks appetizing. Came with broccoli which had been placed smack on top soaking in the sauce. The beef lo mein was barely visible. Just a handful of pasta and two or three chunks of beef. The noodles and beef looked pretty standard. The "Fried Rice" was rice only so no veggies and the rice was neon yellow. - Taste: The food was warm so that's good for DoorDash. Has a decent aroma. The broccoli was well cooked and tasted good. The chicken was supposed to be mild spicy but I couldn't tell at all. The sauce was thick and moist, and the breading was soggy because of the sauce. Didn't explode with flavor or anything just tasted like a sweet sauce put on breaded chicken. The chicken wasn't anything worth mentioning. Possibly overcooked. The Lo Mein tasted OK. Standard pasta and the beef was standard overcooked so not super juicy. The rice was fairly dry. Didn't really taste like much. Maybe like they use a lot of butter. It was OK. -Value: $23.00. The proportions are pretty good. They stuffed the containers. -Service: The order arrived quickly. We received everything we ordered. They provided a fortune cookie, Forks, and napkins. -Kids: I know my kids wouldn't eat the food. They might try the chicken if cut up.
