Ordered from grub hub. General Tso's chicken- could have been a little spicer, but very flavorful. My pregnant girl friend thought it was good, because she stole bites. The chicken was cut and cooked perfectly, crispy, and good bites! Sesame Chicken- amazing. Great flavor chicken cooked consistently with the general tso as well. Fried rice- as a side no veggies, but still so good! Spring & egg rolls- I couldn't tell you which one I enjoyed more. Both crispy, fresh, and very delicious. If it wasnt 100 degrees today I would have tried the hot & sour soup with fried pork dumplings. Next time I am sure to try it. If I could give it a score for wishing it didn't exist I would!!! I wouldn't give this unknown substance to humans or aliens!! We ordered two Szechuan chickens and three orange chickens. It was all unrecognizable! I tasted one piece of chicken and it tasted like a salt block. I called the store and all the owner would say is "no refund, you read menu!" What I read was not what I got! The Orange Chicken looked like black bird! I paid for extra mushrooms. The picture on the left is what I got once I pushed the chicken back to find the mushrooms. I don't know what the previous reviewer was talking about, but it seemed downright abusive and unfounded to me. I have eaten at Super Wok dozens of times and love it. No, this is no P.F. Changs. I think it probably depends on what you order, just like any restaurant, but in my experience they have the best fast food egg rolls in town. I also really like their sesame chicken, orange chicken, and Singapore street noodles. That said, the atmosphere is pretty lackluster and quite dated, but I always get the food to go so I don't care. The best part is the people there. They are incredibly nice and friendly. read more

I concede the food is good however the price for the serving size is high. My larger frustration is my last two experiences there with take out. An incorrect order can happen . . . strike one. Last night was ridiculous. I phoned in my order for pick-up and calculated what my total would be with tax. When I arrived I was told that the extra chicken I added on my sweet & sour chicken had not been added to my ticket and $4.50 needed to be added. I knew this was not correct as I knew the totals and only had three items. I begrudgingly paid the additional amount. Of course upon arriving home- you guessed it- no additional chicken added. So I paid $9 for chicken I did not receive. After reading other reviews I do not believe this is an isolated event. Buyer beware. read more

The sesame chicken is my favorite, but the fried rice, broccoli beef, and pineapple chicken are amazing as well. High price, small portions and questionable food. I eat Asian food for 70% of my meals. I can't remember the last time I had inedible Chinese, until this place. Also chicken dishes that indicated white meat on the menu were made with dark meat, breaded meats where no breading was indicated. Would highly recommend avoiding this place. read more

I forgot how disgusting this place was until my friend and I agreed to Chinese for lunch. She picked it up and brought it back to my house. Immediately, I smelled the stench of this dump fill my house and start to kill my plants and I knew, she had gone to Super Wok, and I had not told her otherwise. She thought I was being dramatic when I straight up refused to even entertain the idea of eating this food she had graciously brought to me. I just shook my head and said "No. No way. Sorry, I will not eat that. No". She looked at me, and I'm sure she was thinking, "What a brat! How rude!". So I preceded to tell her about the other times I had ate there, and how mad I was at myself for making the mistake more than once. I explained to her how I had just found it completely inedible and I would rather go hungry, or lick the bottom of my shoe. I saw her try the egg roll, which I hadn't ever tried so I took a small bite to humor her and barely choked it down, hating myself once again. Then she bit into the spring roll, and within a nano second I saw the spring roll reappear in a slightly different form on her plate as she tried desperately to get any trace of it far far from her face. I think she figured out what I was talking about. We then discussed what could possibly give their food that flavor. We think they must have added a special blend of reused mop water, sweaty b*lls, crusty toenails, vomit, possum musk, and, spam lard to their oil. Then they sprinkle it with rotten eggs right before it goes to the customer. Now, we don't even know what to do with it. Throw it in the fire pit? That can't good. I'm certain its too toxic to be thrown in the garbage. Do we need to call HazMat? And how do we get this awful lingering filthy taste out of our mouth? I voted on taking it back and refusing to leave until we saw them eat it with our own eyes, but we quickly both agreed neither of us had the stomach for that..We were both too nauseated to watch something with that caliber of nastiness. So...it looks like we will be going without lunch today. This is what my mom was talking about when she would say that I am "spoiling my appetite". I was sure that it wasn't possible. It's only been an hour, and I'm just praying it doesn't completely ruin my day by making me sick. I'm upset that I had to give them a star at all. I wanna give them a surprise visit from the health department. I don't think it even matters what you order, everything that comes out of that restaurant tastes the same, DISGUSTING. Best in town! Others I've spoken to who know about the place agree. The food is excellent, the people are friendly and it is totally worth traveling across town to eat here. Dining in, the plate is heaped full, drive-thru helping is just as abundant, perhaps more so. I cannot express how good this food is. I only wish I could afford to eat out more often so I may enjoy their cuisine. I have tried other places (usually with co-workers) and they are a disappointment. I have never had dry or hard rice or broccoli from Super Wok like I have other places. It really is the best. read more

i've been going to super wok since... well i dont want to say, ..but a very long time, more than 10 years. i used to go there to get healthier food when i was single. the family is great and their food is very good. my favorite is the fried rice with a dollar more of whatever im in the mood for. i used to order it spicy so that they would pretty much re-fry it before they send it out. the hot sour soup is the best and the egg drop soup is a favorite or my kids. the chow mein is good too. my wife love it and everyone knows us by name. the only thing i would suggest iis to shorten the menu and serve it hot and fresh... PS i tried the egg roll express down the street ONCE.. i saw roaches crawling around, never again. sorry read more

I called the restaurant to order delivery to my house one evening, but I won't be making that mistake again. The person I spoke with told me that I had to use a delivery service of some kind and I couldn't place an order by calling the restaurant. So I used yelp to order my girlfriend and myself some chicken lo mein and a combination dinner with egg rolls. As we were both pretty hungry, I called the number they sent in the confirmation e-mail to check the status after 45 minutes of waiting. The automated recording said it may take 45 minutes to an hour for delivery, so I decided to wait for a bit longer in case they were on route. After the hour mark, I decide to call the number again and select the option to "speak with the manager" which turns out is just a way to get put on hold for about five minutes, then get hung up on. I was getting hungrier as the time went on, so I decided to just call back to the restaurant a few minutes later. The same person before answered and asked what I had, then cut me off in the middle and assured that it would be sent soon, but they had to wait for the driver to come back to the restaurant and pick it up. They said it would take another 15-20 minutes for the driver to get back, but then they didn't know how long after that. The food arrived around 2 hours after I placed the order, and it was easily the most bland food I have eaten in a very long time. It was like hospital food combined with the mystery meat from a school cafeteria. The pork egg rolls had no pork inside, but reminded me of peanut butter with a hint of Alpo dog food. We were extremely hungry, so we ate a little, then tried to eat the leftovers the next day, but they somehow lost even more flavor (somehow) prompting us to discard them. I have worked in an Asian restaurant as a cook and a delivery driver. We never had a wait time even close to that and the food always received high praise by the customers. It's just sad because so many reviews are great. This was the highest rated of the restaurants in the area that we could order from, but turned out to be a massive disappointment. I wonder if they just used a different (worse) restaurant to cook the food and deliver it to us... it was awful. read more
