Happened to be in Claremore a few nights back and needed a quick bite for dinner, and I remembered I'd been wanting to try this place for some time now. Order was definitely a to-go, which is good, because they don't have a dine-in option. Pretty extensive if routine menu, but I noticed they also served Pad Thai, and I've ever a fan of the dish, so I went with the shrimp version and a shrimp egg roll. Order time was about what I would expect for a Pad Thai, meaning it took a few more minutes than your usual Asian fare because it's got so darn many ingredients. Got my order and headed back to Owasso for dinner. It was still plenty warm when I arrived. First minor disappointment was no cilantro. Not sure how you do a pad thai without cilantro, or why. Luckily I had some, so I added it to my liking. Overall, the dish had plenty of shrimp, but seemed to lack the depth of flavor usually found in a pad thai. No notes of tamarind or that hint of fish sauce that's usually present. Overall, it was good, but only good. With a little more effort it could have been really good. The shrimp egg roll was huge, well cooked and full of flavor. I suspect their more mainstream asian dishes, chow meins, lo meins etc. are probably pretty good, and if I'm back that way and looking for an asian fix, I'll probably hit them up. read more

Tried for the first time yesterday. Had crab rangoon, hot and sour soup teriyaki chicken on a stick and Mongolian beef. The woman at the counter was very friendly. The inside of the place was not great. The front area is serving as a storage area. The food tasted ok, the flavor of all the food items was different from most other places I've been to. My thought was probably a different region where the preparation is different. I personally didn't care for it. Things were very oily. And my stomach didn't respond very well to it. My wife was fine but opted against taking leftovers for lunch. read more

I've been coming here for a long time. I've only EVER had 1 problem, my order got mixed with someone else. They fixed it immediately and gave me a full refund. My whole family loves their food. It's always hot, plentiful and tastes great. They are now "take out only", which is fine. If you want to sit down, there is another Chinese restaurant in town, not nearly as good. Always fast, fresh, delicious. Family-owned and run business in Claremore a very long time now. My wife loves the chicken and mushrooms meal, with an egg roll added for good measure. I like the General Tso' or Sesame chicken meal. read more

9 o'clock on a Thursday, hadn't eaten, saw they were open until 10PM on Yelp, so we figured we give them a shot....and drove right by them. No light on the big sign out front, one light out on sign on the building.... and not what you would expect for an Asian restaurant...a dark barn looking building with overgrown landscaping in front. We went in and were greeted by a large picture of Kung Foo Panda. Interior was sparsely decorated as well....but don't judge a book by its cover!! We ordered shrimp with Oriental vegetables and Szechuan beef, with 10 cheese wontons, and a Dr Pepper. Total cost $27....but this turned out to be a TON of food! And it was delicious! Great flavor, veggies cooked but with snap, what a great surprise!!! We basically got 5 meals out of our order...two at the time, one for our daughter when we got home, and 2 days of lunches. Don't be fooled by the exterior, or the interior! If you are in Claremore and want Chinese, this is the place to go!!! read more

I had this place two nights ago when I initially ordered my food for me and my wife I was thinking it was kind of expensive, but then got the food. The quality of food was excellent and big portions couldn't have asked for a better meal all around. The service was also great. read more

Surprisingly really good! Eggrolls could use a little help but the general tsos Chicken was crispy and great! This is the first time I've had general tsos chicken so I can't say that it's the best but I think the General would be happy with the meal. I'll definitely come back in the future. read more

This was the worst Chinese did we've ever eaten. Wanted to like it but, uuhhhg! The place on the outside looks like it should be closed which is why it took us so long to try in the first place. I don't understand truthfully how it's still open. It was just awful. read more

When you order food from the panda you will not be disappointed my family and I eat there at least once a week if not more. You can definently tell everything is fresh and made with love and care. My favorite are the shrimp dumplings sesame ball sesame chicken of course along with the kung pao chicken is a must also you cannot forget the fresh crispy chicken wings dont forget the sriracha though hands down best chinese takeout in claremore read more

Visiting from out of town and thought this was a Panda Express from looking up under that name, but it wasn't. It was dark and finding it was a little difficult, but WELL WORTH IT! Large portions, great price and very good food. (I got shrimp and mushrooms). My opinion, better than Panda Express, more authentic. read more

We had the beef fried rice, pork egg rolls and cream cheese wonton. I have to say I was surprised about how good it was after looking at the building but the restaurant was very clean and the lady who waited on me was extremely nice. I recommend trying this place. Despite the sketchy looking building, and the.. interesting choice of Kung Fu Panda decor.. it's actually pretty good. The workers are always nice, and the food is fresh. I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food, but I've never had any complaints with the food I'm served. Pretty good. read more

Despite the rough-looking, outdated exterior, this restaurant serves the best Asian food in the area, with fast, enthusiastic, always friendly service. Particularly fond of the General Tso chicken, but I've never found a dish that I wouldn't recommend. Kudos! read more

Generals Chicken is soo good! I usually call ahead because everything is prepared fresh, so it takes some time if you go in and order.

I went to Panda today for the first time in many months. My family and I used to eat there regularly and LOVED it. The food was always very good, fresh, and cooked to order. Special requests were graciously accomodated. I'm sorry to say that today was an absolute disappointment. I ordered Hot and Spicy Shrimp ($8.95) and Cream Cheese Rangoon. There were 4 shrimp under an avalanche of sliced onion. The flavor was good, but not worth the $8.95 I paid for it. Over half of the order was bright yellow "fried rice." I forgot they served that with their dishes instead of steamed rice. I usually ask to substitute steamed rice for that awful yellow stuff. The Rangoon had a decent flavor, but the wonton wrappers were greasy and tough, as if they had been cooked this morning and kept under a warming light. My entire order was just a few cents over $11.00, and I left a $2.00 tip. The meal, although edible, was not anything to entice me to return, and it was NOT worth $13.00. I am very disappointed.
