This is a husband and wife duo producing hot, fresh and tasty food. The husband is manning the kitchen while the wife is holding down the front of the house. Their food is always tasty! I like their chicken lo mein. And their egg rolls are so delicious I usually get 2 orders. Lots of takeout happens at this place but limited, indoor seating is available. Hours of operation vary. Call to see if they're open before going. If they happen to be closed, definitely try the restaurant another time. They are always closed on Sundays. Dropped into Asean the other day with minimal time, so I had to settle for take out. Good thing because the place is hoppin at lunch time, and not a lot of places to sit, so plan accordingly. I opted for the combo fried rice, egg drop soup, spring rolls and Chicken chow mein with steamed rice. Still hot and fresh after arriving home in Owasso, I can say that not a single item failed to hit the mark. The soup was very good with a subtle yet wonderful flavor that I can't place. The spring rolls were good, if not maybe a tad overcooked. The chicken chow mein had plenty of vegetables and meat, and while some of the ingredients weren't what I'm used to for this dish, it was nonetheless outstanding. And the fried rice.... best in the area. I love it that the put bean sprouts in their rice, something other places seem unable to understand. Plenty of protein as well, and not overly pea heavy, which was nice, as I thoroughly detest green peas. We tried calling on a Friday night to see if we could get in. And no one answered the the phone. So we drove over there and we were told that it would be an hour to get food. Wow Pho In Claremore!?! What more could a nice cold day ask for! The pho is not too shabby here. I just wish their rice noodles were a little harder. I went to this restaurant today knowing their noodles are too soft for my liking and I asked if the noodles could be al dente and the request was acknowledged but when the noodles arrived they were the same soft texture as I had before :( However, my pho cravings were satisfied. I also tried the special combination fried rice and they give you a heaping portion for the price. The taste was average to me but for the value, I'd definitely get it again. Just like some others have said I found this restaurant to be an excellent choice for really good food. It is a small place but I like that about it. It's clean and the people running it are friendly and very nice. I can't say enough good things about the food. Fresh, tasty and plenty of it. Loved the spring rolls and Moo Goo Gau Pan. You can order jasmine green tea here and I love it. If you like good Chinese food you will like Asean Diner. The prices are very reasonable. Don't forget to generously tip the server. The worst customer service I have ever experienced at any restaurant. It was busy and it appears they are greatly understaffed. My son and I went up to the counter around 6p. The woman behind the counter rudely said it will be 45 minutes. I let it go and some people sitting near there heard the encounter and said you can have our seats we are waiting on a to go order. The owner then came by where we sat down and acted kind of mad and said it will be an hour now. My son and I left. We went to Molly's Landing and gladly spent $200 dollars there. This the 'hole-in-the-wall' that you always hope to discover in a new town. Pho is better than most of the Vietnamese restaurants I've been to in the SF Bay area (dozens). If you get Pho there, taste the broth before adding condiments. Sublime. I got egg rolls, spring rolls, pho tai, and beef lo mein. I got take-out just before closing, but everything seemed absolutely fresh. The worst thing about the meal was that I didn't get chop sticks with the order and had to eat with a fork. It's not easy to find. Google maps didn't even know the place and when I input only the address it was off by a few hundred feet. Nothing over $7 on the menu for lunch, and all of my party's food was great! I had the Hunan beef with the fried dumplings. Zero complaints with the food! The place is very small, but I know they do quite a bit of business from all the take out orders I saw coming in. Our service was pretty good considering they forgot one of my workers meal, and had to cook it real fast since all the other food had been out for a while. The waitress was very friendly and seemed like a very happy person which made the experience even better. I can't quite give the place 5 stars, but this is one of those instances where I wish we could give half stars, because I would have given them 4.5 If you like Chinese food, come here!!! When you first see the building next to a gas station you are worried. Go in and try it. It was good affordable food and we got served fast. I got the Vermicelli and my coworker got the fried rice. If you are in Claremore and want some Asian food this is the place you should go (or at least order out from.) It's a hole in the wall and not the best place to sit down in, but the food is great and the price is reasonable. I recommend trying their orange chicken though my parents both like their salads. read more
