It is a good place to eat some really good chicken and they have a decent selection of sides you can get as well they help students get jobs early which is cool not that many place do usually a good vibe and good service read more

Everytime I'm in west Tulsa I stop by Charlie's chicken to order the 3 peice chicken chunk dinner. The chicken is so tender with just the right amount of juices. With potatoes, gravy, okra and a roll. If you haven't had Charlie's chicken I highly recommend you give it a try. read more

I am an infrequent customer to this location. They seem to have staffing and management issues. The staff are frequently on a smoke break, using the dining room chairs on the sidewalk beside the drive through lane. Quality comes and goes, but the vegetable sides seem to be more consistent. I came through today and when I got to the window they opened the window and the marijuana smell that came out was horrible. It really put me off. I know it's legal now but for business and health department purposes it shouldn't be used on the job. Management needs to clearly put some effort into cleaning up the establishment and setting clear guidelines. read more

I must post this review. Driving by and from the outside, this place looks funny and dirty. My wife, daughter, and I decided to try it after driving by it for two years. Called in our order to pick up, young man totally screwed it up when repeating it back to my wife, then he hung up on her. We went by to get our order, ready to leave and go up there today to kfc. I wished inn with my daughter, I tried to be polite.... Young Man welcomed me...l could tell by his voice her is the one who needed it up and hung up on my wife.... also could tell her was working hard and trying this best with what her had been given. 2 ladies helped get it all straightened out, we went home.... And I must say we were very surprised with the food. We ordered and recurrence family 12 piece mixed with 3 sides and 6 rolls. I must state this food was delicious!!! Unfortunately this Charlie's was a let down. I've been to others that were good. The floors here were sticky along with most of the counters. I got some fried doggers and they tasted like they had been setting out for quite a while. I ate two bites and throw the whole batch away. I went between lunch and dinner time so I have some understanding why it wasn't the best, but I had hoped for something better. The staff was kind but other than the that, this was a let down and I would recommend going somewhere else. read more

This place was clean, well-serviced & DELICIOUS! I had a large order for my church group & they got everything right & the food was still hot & fresh by the time I got it to where I was going! Arguably some of the best southern food in this area of Tulsa. Where to begin? The chicken fried steak with gravy is excellent. The gravy could be a meal unto itself. These chicken chunks are pieces of chicken heaven. The breaded exterior is crunchy & perfectly seasoned and we almost ate them all without any sauce or gravy at all. Having kids, I still like being able to order green beans, corn, etc. Which were also good. Growing boys have to have their veggies. But the big finish was the carrot cake! I don't know if this is their "mama's homemade recipe" but it sure tastes like it. I almost wanna go back just to get another 20 chicken chunks & 4 more pieces of carrot cake so I can keep them in the fridge for the next 2 weeks & snack on 'em! It really was that good. We first ate ate leftovers from family members that consisted of chicken with stuffing, meatloaf, green beans, banana cream dessert, a biscuit, fried chicken... we then tried the cherry cobbler, chicken & dumplings, fried okra, fried corn puffs, broccoli rice cheese casserole. way better than Mcd's but wow! can't believe I've eaten this much fried food in such a short period of time! The food was very good overall. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, they asked us to pull around to the front while they completed the rest of our order. It took 25 minutes. And when we got home we found that the item we had waited for (the chicken!) wasn't included. The number listed on Apple maps for the restaurant (West Tulsa) was disconnected. One star, because this is not about the food. Food is great, service is the problem. Ordered online, because I was on my way to far east Tulsa to a pot luck dinner. Money ($20.06) was taken immediately, before I realized that it was WEST Tulsa location. I am in midtown, going east. Called immediately and was told I needed to call Grubhub. Told the woman I did not order through Grubhub, it was for pick-up. She was I still needed to call Grubhub. Okay, so I called Grubhub and was told they did not have my order. Even spoke with a supervisor, José. He was very nice, but verified they did not have the order. Called back Charlie's Chicken, and got the same woman trying to get me to call Grubhub. Had to yell to get her to listen to me. Advised that I had called Grubhub, they don't have my order, and I just want to cancel and get my money back. Finally, she said she would cancel my order and it would be refunded immediately. This is only the beginning of a HUGE problem! This all takes place on 12/27/2022. It is now 1/6/2023, and I have not seen hide nor hair of my money. I did get a call from the woman who handled this at the store, but still no name or money refunded. I just want my $20.06 refunded. I went to KFC and got wonderful, fresh chicken for my pot luck, and it only cost me two cents more. But I digress, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND FROM CHARLIE'S CHICKEN WEST TULSA. I don't know what else to do. I have notified the administration at Charlie's Chicken west Tulsa, to no avail. I have notified the Better Business Bureau of Tulsa. No one seems to care, but I want my money back. I feel like I have been stolen from by Charlie's Chicken west Tulsa. I did not pick up the order, canceled it before it was prepared, it was not delivered to me. Do not order from this location unless you have money to just give them for nothing. My go to chicken place! Marcus, the cook, never lets me down. Always comes out tender, and the serving is more than fair!

The food was gross and messy they gave me mashed potatoes and gravy and i wanted no gravy it got everywhere and instead of them fixing it they just give me potatoes. I'm a little pissed. My fiancé and I have ordered through grubhub to this restaurant multiple times. Tonight we placed an order at 6:30pm on a Friday evening. So we received a text at 7:30pm saying it was finally being prepared, but I moved on (I use to work in the service industry so I understand that it can be hectic and that sometimes it's hard to get to online orders.) Well I received a call now at 7:40pm from grubhub saying they received a call from Charlie's chicken saying that they would not make our order. I'm incredibly annoyed. The fact that we placed an order in such an advance and then were denied service is absolutely unnerving. DO NOT, order from here! read more

This is the best in chicken nuggets! We used to have a Charlie's Chicken in Derby Kansas & we sure wish it was closer to home! Great place!

I must say I was disappointed in this establishment. While the staff itself was friednly and helpful, the food was quite pricey and not near as good as I was expecting. I have tried this restaurant three times and all three times I have been disappointed. I generally enjoy the food from other Charlie's Chicken locations but for some reason this one does not measure up. Today I tried the daily special, chicken & dressing. This consisted of burned cornbread with a tiny bit of chicken baked in. It was so dry and flavorless that the box would have tasted better. Having eaten this same dish at other locations, I know it is generally actual dressing with spices and chicken. Needless to say that I will not visit this store again. read more
