Philly, been there, done that. I still like Phat Philly's BETTER than what I had there!! And I held them in high esteem long before I became friends with the family-- they're ALL awesome people and Tulsa is a better place due to them. Philly's are the best (especially with mushrooms), the tots totally rock, and their fountain is dialed IN! There's not a more simple thing in life that I love more than a good syrupy Dr. Pepper and they're ALWAYS that way here. Sorry no pics and a shorter review that normal; too occupied stuffing my pie hole! If you haven't been, check it out and if you have and your mouth is watering, get back here SOON! You won't regret it!! read more

Stopped in while visiting Tulsa for the chili bowl in January and still thinking about how good the food was. Best cheesesteak I've ever had. Can't wait to come back next year! read more

Phat Phillys is such a hidden gem that I didn't know I needed! We built our own fries with chicken and steak plus whiz sauce, peppers and onions. Sooo delicious!!! The wings (twice baked) are really good as well!! I had them one night and wanted them again a few days later so I called the store and they walked me through how to place an order via DoorDash even though loaded fries weren't on their menu!! Top tier customer service if you ask me!! Plus their late night playlist jams! Idk what they play during the day but it was such a vibe beginning to end! I'll definitely be back! read more

A cool spot with a kind of reggae vibe although the competing reggae and top 40 music at the same time was a putoff. Service was fast. I think we beat the dinner crowd. I had a pretty good Philly cheese steak with waffle fries and and washed it down with a red stripe. It was a good amount of meat and the bread wasn't too thick. It was a good balance. read more

Had the phat Philly cheesesteak, wings, and some fries. All were absolutely fantastic. Wings were freshly made. The regular Philly was much better than the chicken Philly. Definitely going to come back any time I am craving a cheesesteak or wings. read more

A unique place to stop in for lunch while in Tulsa. I usually let my client decide where to dine but on this visit none were available so I had to find a place on my own. I did a quick Yelp search and found Phat Philly was only a few minutes away. I love a good a Philly Cheese steak so I decided that was my lunch choice. I may have been past the lunch time rush as the place was fairly empty. Reviewing the menu I went with the 7" Phat Philly Cheese steak. They don't serve traditional fries instead they do Tots or Waffle Fries. I chose the Waffle Fries and to be honest they were pretty darn good! Overall the meal was very good. I could see myself making a return visit. read more

My bestie picked Phat Philly's for our late nite bites last night. It was amazing! It's been a long time since I've been here before their new location. Seating is open and the place has a relaxed, kinda stadium vibe. My friend ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with egg and mushrooms, I ordered the Chicken Philly also with egg and mushrooms. I definitely ended up with cheesesteak. But everything was so warm and gooey it was hard to tell if the mushrooms or eggs were in there. Although they didn't give us what we ordered, the food was delicious. We're thinking maybe the way they call out names we misheard? It didn't matter, we were both sober and didn't care. Everything was absolutely delicious. And those waffle fries may have been the best I've ever had. How did they manage to make them crunchy yet soft with just the right amount of sea salt? I'm only giving four stars since they messed up the order, but the taste was amazing. read more

Great sandwich. Cheese whiz is good, but I prefer provolone, so I added some. You get a healthy portion with the 7 inch sandwich. Service is quick. Didn't wait too long for the food to come out. They have a cool vibe in there. You can tell that at night it gets pretty lit. I would definitely recommend coming here for a Philly if you're craving one. read more

Portions are huge. Staff is so friendly good quality food looking to go back again soon.

Plenty of seating and parking! I always enjoy the food here! Great place to enjoy a phillys cheese steak! I got mine to go and it was still hot when I arrived home and wasn't soggy at all! Thank you for always hitting the spot! read more

Long wait time as it is cooked fresh 10-15 min for 2 cheesesteaks. So the steak tasted more like roast beef than sirloin or ribeye steak.... Uhhh felt like I needed au jus instead of ranch. Peppers and onions were bit mushy overcooked. Waffle fries were awesome fluffy and crispy so good!!! It was freezing in the dining area so we took it to go . Friendly staff but cook Did have a bit too much facial hair and other hair with no hairnet for me.... Uhhh Full bar but never seen bartender. Tv screens but couldn't hear they had music jamming. read more

I'm never disappointed when I come back. I get my usual a Philly cheesesteak sandwich.

Where do I start, the service and staff were exceptional! The Philly was bangin! And the beer, cold and kept full. I had a nice gentleman as my bartender/waiter, he checked on me often, chatting with me for a minute or two each time and kept my beer topped off. I wish I woulda caught his name! Definitely a great place for meeting with friends after work or just eating lunch by yourself like I was! read more

What a fun place to go and have cheesesteaks! The staff is friendly and the place is always hopping! I never have to wait for a table but it does get really busy during lunch hours. That also the only time I've been there. They have the best Philly Cheesesteaks I've had in Tulsa! They have a condiment mini bar too. I love the fries too! I haven't had it myself but there is a draft beer section too. They have local beer on draft which I thought was really fun. read more

The best cheesesteak in Tulsa along with THE best waffle fries! Open late so you can always find a good time to go.

I finally made my way to phat Philly's hoping to quench my craving for a Philly Sammy. Ugh. What an underwhelming experience. I expected it to be a clean, fast food type establishment. It was in that general range (substantially below mall food court, but slightly above highway rest area). The service was so incredibly awful that I semi regret tipping as much as I did on my carry out order. If you pay with a card, tipping is expected. The people working also threatened to have people towed for parking near the entrance (if you go, park behind the building). When I got home and opened my bag, I discovered that the contents were not only less than I ordered but also less than I paid for. All in all, not worth a trip for me. If you decide to patronize this establishment, I sincerely hope that you have a better experience than I did. read more

Incredible cheesesteak, i ordered two phillies, and two orders of fries pretty late for dinner around 8pm. Everything we ordered came out very quickly and it was all searing hot freshly made to order. The staff were very nice and hard working, nobody seemed to be standing around, everyone was working. read more

I got chili cheese waffle fries. I took a bite while I was inside before going to the car. It was very good. Only thing is I wish they offered sour cream. I do like that they had like 3 or 4 different ranch options to offer at no additional cost. I hated I didn't eat in the car on the way to the hotel because that 15 minute drive made the fries hard and the cheese stuff. My friend got a Philly and fries and she loved it. I would definitely try again if I'm in the mood for a Philly while in Tulsa. read more

If you're going to brave eating out, then you want it to be good. We dropped in for a quick lunch. The place was not crowded, all employees were masked....Most diners had masks, too, until they started stuffing their faces. I know I'm weird, but I love the veggie philly here. LOVE. IT. Service was great, fast and friendly. I really don't know how they can make their sandwiches any hotter. I'm not a Philly cheesesteak person but this was absolutely phenomenal. The sandwich was extremely good but the star of the show was the fries. These were hands down the best fries I've had amazing crunch and flavor. Atmosphere inside was very cool and customer service was good. Only downfall was the price it was $16 for a 7" Philly combo. Although it was worth it. read more

The sandwiches were mediocre at best. The meat had little to no flavor and there was not much meat on the sandwiches themselves. For a $15 sandwich, I would expect some meat. the cheese on the fries tasted like canned nacho cheese, quite literally. The boneless chicken wings we ordered for our children was some of the oldest and driest I have ever been given. our Littles refused to eat it and I did not make them eat it because I would not have eaten it. They looked like they had been sitting in a warmer for most of the day. we ordered this for delivery so I wasn't able to get them replacement chicken. I will not return and, to be honest, would have preferred Subway. We were excited to try this place and were very disappointed. read more

I've been here more times than I can count and I can think of only ONE time when they didn't absolutely nail a philly cheesesteak. Went to pick up at 2 am for some after bar food and they gave me free tots!! I love you phat Philly's, no one can ever make me hate you read more

Just wasn't a good sandwich. Soggy bread and meat and veggies were more liked boiled not grilled like I thought they would be. They wrapped it in a paper lined foil and because it was soggy the paper part stuck to the sandwich read more

The food was great! Fun atmosphere and quick service. The cheese steak is great, the fries were a hit too.

Pro tip: In Philly they call it just a "cheesesteak", not a "Philly cheesesteak". I got the 11" with extra meat and it was a LARGE sandwich. If I could do it again I wouldn't get the extra meat unless I was splitting it with someone. Also, I was skeptical about the cheese wiz but it actually worked. If I ever get a taste for cheesesteak when im in Tulsa, this will probably be my go-to spot. read more

Good food, large portions. The service was fast and nice despite the large lunch crowd.

My family and I ate here on Friday, August 30, 2019. I really appreciate their limited menu, but that's not to say that you can change things up! I ordered the Veggie Philly, but instead of the in I asked for the veggies and cheese to be served over a basket of the waffle fries. It wasn't a problem at all! The reason for the 4 star rating is due to the fact I didn't have jalapeños on mine and I think it's because my daughter ordered her Veggie Philly without jalapeños, maybe the cooks misunderstood and made both without jalapeños. I really like jalapeños, and I was missing that little kick of heat during my meal. However, the portion was spot on and I was full when I finished. I did really like that they have Pepsi products. I drink Pepsi over Coke any day! My bf ordered the regular Phat Phil's Cheesesteak 7" and my daughter ordered the Veggie Philly 7" but without the jalapeños. They shared a basket of fries and both had their own drinks as well. My daughter, being a teenager, basically inhaled hers while my bf and I were only about 2/3 of the way through. She said she'd want the larger 11" next time we ate here. She was still mildly hungry, but again, as a teenager, she has a bottomless pit for a stomach. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed his and was stuffed once he was done eating. The service was quick and everyone was nice and polite. The food came out so quick and was piping hot and fresh! This could possibly be a really good place for lunch if you are in a hurry. We ate here around 6:15ish. They weren't terribly busy, but I did notice they were pushing that food out in an incredible speed. Color me impressed! I'd definitely eat here again! read more
