Phat Phillys is such a hidden gem that I didn't know I needed! We built our own fries with chicken and steak plus whiz sauce, peppers and onions. Sooo delicious!!! The wings (twice baked) are really good as well!! I had them one night and wanted them again a few days later so I called the store and they walked me through how to place an order via DoorDash even though loaded fries weren't on their menu!! My bestie picked Phat Philly's for our late nite bites last night. It was amazing! It's been a long time since I've been here before their new location. Seating is open and the place has a relaxed, kinda stadium vibe. My friend ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with egg and mushrooms, I ordered the Chicken Philly also with egg and mushrooms. I definitely ended up with cheesesteak. But everything was so warm and gooey it was hard to tell if the mushrooms or eggs were in there. Although they didn't give us what we ordered, the food was delicious. We're thinking maybe the way they call out names we misheard? It didn't matter, we were both sober and didn't care. Everything was absolutely delicious. And those waffle fries may have been the best I've ever had. How did they manage to make them crunchy yet soft with just the right amount of sea salt? A unique place to stop in for lunch while in Tulsa. I usually let my client decide where to dine but on this visit none were available so I had to find a place on my own. I did a quick Yelp search and found Phat Philly was only a few minutes away. I love a good a Philly Cheese steak so I decided that was my lunch choice. I may have been past the lunch time rush as the place was fairly empty. Reviewing the menu I went with the 7" Phat Philly Cheese steak. They don't serve traditional fries instead they do Tots or Waffle Fries. I chose the Waffle Fries and to be honest they were pretty darn good! Overall the meal was very good. Long wait time as it is cooked fresh 10-15 min for 2 cheesesteaks. So the steak tasted more like roast beef than sirloin or ribeye steak.... Uhhh felt like I needed au jus instead of ranch. Where do I start, the service and staff were exceptional! The Philly was bangin! And the beer, cold and kept full. What a fun place to go and have cheesesteaks! The staff is friendly and the place is always hopping! I never have to wait for a table but it does get really busy during lunch hours. That also the only time I've been there. They have the best Philly Cheesesteaks I've had in Tulsa! They have a condiment mini bar too. I love the fries too! I finally made my way to phat Philly's hoping to quench my craving for a Philly Sammy. Ugh. What an underwhelming experience. I expected it to be a clean, fast food type establishment. It was in that general range (substantially below mall food court, but slightly above highway rest area). The service was so incredibly awful that I semi regret tipping as much as I did on my carry out order. If you pay with a card, tipping is expected. The people working also threatened to have people towed for parking near the entrance (if you go, park behind the building). When I got home and opened my bag, I discovered that the contents were not only less than I ordered but also less than I paid for. All in all, not worth a trip for me. If you decide to patronize this establishment, I sincerely hope that you have a better experience than I did. read more

I got chili cheese waffle fries. I took a bite while I was inside before going to the car. It was very good. Only thing is I wish they offered sour cream. I do like that they had like 3 or 4 different ranch options to offer at no additional cost. I hated I didn't eat in the car on the way to the hotel because that 15 minute drive made the fries hard and the cheese stuff. My friend got a Philly and fries and she loved it. The sandwiches were mediocre at best. The meat had little to no flavor and there was not much meat on the sandwiches themselves. For a $15 sandwich, I would expect some meat. the cheese on the fries tasted like canned nacho cheese, quite literally. The boneless chicken wings we ordered for our children was some of the oldest and driest I have ever been given. our Littles refused to eat it and I did not make them eat it because I would not have eaten it. They looked like they had been sitting in a warmer for most of the day. we ordered this for delivery so I wasn't able to get them replacement chicken. Pro tip: In Philly they call it just a "cheesesteak", not a "Philly cheesesteak". I got the 11" with extra meat and it was a LARGE sandwich. If I could do it again I wouldn't get the extra meat unless I was splitting it with someone. Also, I was skeptical about the cheese wiz but it actually worked. If I ever get a taste for cheesesteak when im in Tulsa, this will probably be my go-to spot. read more

My family and I ate here on Friday, August 30, 2019. I really appreciate their limited menu, but that's not to say that you can change things up! I ordered the Veggie Philly, but instead of the in I asked for the veggies and cheese to be served over a basket of the waffle fries. It wasn't a problem at all! The reason for the 4 star rating is due to the fact I didn't have jalapeños on mine and I think it's because my daughter ordered her Veggie Philly without jalapeños, maybe the cooks misunderstood and made both without jalapeños. I really like jalapeños, and I was missing that little kick of heat during my meal. However, the portion was spot on and I was full when I finished. I did really like that they have Pepsi products. I drink Pepsi over Coke any day! My bf ordered the regular Phat Phil's Cheesesteak 7" and my daughter ordered the Veggie Philly 7" but without the jalapeños. They shared a basket of fries and both had their own drinks as well. My daughter, being a teenager, basically inhaled hers while my bf and I were only about 2/3 of the way through. She said she'd want the larger 11" next time we ate here. She was still mildly hungry, but again, as a teenager, she has a bottomless pit for a stomach. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed his and was stuffed once he was done eating. The service was quick and everyone was nice and polite. The food came out so quick and was piping hot and fresh! This could possibly be a really good place for lunch if you are in a hurry. We ate here around 6:15ish.
