We made reservations for an anniversary dinner on a Friday night. It's pretty small inside and very dark. Our server was really nice, but she flew through the explanations of everything, so I really couldn't even tell you what meats I ate. But it was delicious. We did the $75 each omakase menu, but I don't think it was really worth it. The add ons are the best part like the kimchi fried rice. If I went back, which is not likely, I'd just order from the grill maybe 1 or 2 meat options. It's overpriced for what it is. We enjoyed ourselves, but I'd rather try a more authentic experience.

Our favorite date night spot in tulsa - also my favorite happy hour! The quality of meat is always top notch and the endless little accompaniments are delicious.

Can I just say that I have apparently been living under a rock and Mr. Kim's was not even on my radar. Thanks to my better half for taking me on a surprise date! Loved everything about the experience. Our server, Christian, was great and explained everything. He answered all of our questions (even about the chili crisp pickles). If this is your first time, I would definitely order one of the pre-fix meals. We did the smaller one and it was so much food. Our appetizers (chef's choice) were outstanding---one tuna, one oyster, and one scallop--three appetizers (bites) total. The meats were totally tender and delicious and I loved the truffle/egg dipping sauce. Our dessert was included in the meal and was a small dip of Rose Rock chocolate/peppermint ice cream (the creamiest ever) and a small yuzu bar (with gold leaf). Please note that dessert off the menu can be quite spectacular. Our table neighbors ordered it and it could cause some embarrassment for some. It was a huge stick of cotton candy (lit up) with the desserts on the bottom serving plate. P.S. We ordered the fried kimchi rice as a side. Also so good. I would order that again in a heart beat along with the pork bulgogi but all the meats were delicious. Also, this is a relaxing place to be. Plan on a 2 hour dinner (because you're cooking your own)!

Mr Kim's was an excellent date night option for my husband and I. We had a variety of options from the table grill and everything was fresh and flavorful. Lisa was our waitress and she was nothing short of amazing with helping us choose options as first time guest. Lisa was very attentive, and gave us top tier service. We will definitely be back in the future. If I had to select my favorite I would choose the kimchi fried rice.

Posh and delicious, what an awesome spot. The staff is really friendly, the black walnut old fashioned is fantastic, the food selection superb. Love the decor, and enjoyed the whole meal. The tartare is a definite must, and the spicy pork bulgogi is a crowd pleaser. We also received complimentary ginger lemon sorbet at the end which made for a perfect palette cleanser. Highly recommend this place for the meat lover (though there are veggie options to grill also!)

We had the pleasure of having dinner at Mr. Kim's last night for date night. It was super fun & delicious. We did the baller so we had the opportunity to try 3 appetizers, several meats, and dessert. We also ordered the kimchi rice which was my absolute favorite. Everything was yummy. Service was great. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely be back!

this is a restaurant that I would rather rate 10 stars because the food was delicious and the serving was absolutely wonderful. I would like to eat here every single night and I would love to have these exact employees be my servers at every restaurant that I go to. The interior and vibe in here is so awesome. It seems so high end because of their design and layout.

End result. Can't believe we cooked that! Lol

Ahhh the fabulous Mr Kim's. definitely a treat and experience visiting this "fancy" sister restaurant to Yokozuna. It did not disappoint! We made reservations three weeks prior and glad we did. The experience was all around, unique, positive, and flavorful! Everything from entering the restaurants to leaving the restaurant was fantastic. This location used to be that cool local shop with T-shirts and earrings and such, and I think it changed storefronts a bit, so it's nice to see this place done up like it is at Mr. Kim's. Definitely must visit and have this experience. Check my photos for lots more details!

Drove to Tulsa to try Mr. Kim's. Another yelper actually told me about this place, and I was curious since I'm Korean. We came Sunday morning for "Dim Sunday's" which is something new they started offering. Dim sum is from 10-2pm every Sunday, and is walk-in only. We got here around 12:30, and it was not busy at all. I think it was just us and another table. Anyways, we were seated promptly and ordered the kimchi Bloody Mary which came out fast and was delicious! High recommend if you love bloody Mary's. For food my guy ordered the pork soup dumplings and pork dumplings. He loved the soup dumplings and didn't care for the regular pork potstickers. I don't eat pork so, I can't comment. I ordered the eggs & foie, shrimp har gow, house dim sum which was kimchi dumplings when we went (this item I'm assuming changes weekly), and egg drop. The eggs & foie was yummy, but I wished it was just kimchi flavored without the curry, shrimp har gow tasted like a shrimp shu mai. I have no idea what the difference is since, I'm Korean and not Chinese. The egg soup was delicious, and my absolute favorite was the house dim sum which was kimchi and it was so yummy! I hope they make this a permanent item in their dim sum menu. Overall, the service was super friendly, and this was the best dim sum I've had in all of Oklahoma. I live in the OKC metro, and dim sum in the city is not even close to how yummy Mr. Kim's is in Tulsa. Can't wait to come back to try their regular dinner menu!

Do you have to have a reservation?

I would say that due to the limited seating and the length that walk-ins would be very hard. It was encouraged when we were talking about going, and it was busy the entire it we were there

We ordered iced tea to sip while configuring our menu selection...we'd already established some of these goodies would be taken home...yet we of had to give it a taste first. To enjoy as we sat at our table and took in the subtle ambiance, my son chose the Spicy Beef Ramen and I the Short Rib Stew. Both our selections were seriously delicious and yum yum yummy to say the least!! As additions to accompany this absolute goodness we were already experiencing, we ordered some Fried Pork Dumplings...crunchy and delectable! The Beef Bulgogi...son almost lost focus on his Ramen lol the beef was sooo good!! Sweet and Sour Pork...the aroma alone will pull you in and the flavor will make you want more...that sauce!!! And lastly the Shrimp Fried Rice...Not overly done with soy sauce and saltiness...instead flavorful and delicious!! The banchan was great...I love the radish kimchi while my son devours cabbage kimchi The only missing was steamed egg which we both love Our service was really nice, assertive and friendly. I do like that they bring things out as they are prepared on a push cart...reminded us of the restaurants we love back home in California...This ensures your dishes are brought to Hot and Steamy!

The coziness did start to feel cramped once the restaurant started getting full for lunch though; it might have just been our specific seats, but we had to shift our party's table to avoid my side touching the customers sitting at the next table. Service was otherwise great and food came out in a timely manner. Everything was delicious. We all enjoyed the japchae and bulgogi, and I personally really liked the seafood jeon even though I thought it was a bit thicker/eggier than I prefer. Banchan was all delicious, but the portions were slightly less generous than what I've come to grow used to at other Korean restaurants. I'm so glad there are great options for Korean food in Tulsa and I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town. - Ambiance: 4/5 - Food: 4/5 - Service: 5/5

I love that they have these incredible egg sandwiches as well as real deal Korean corn dogs. If you've never experienced a Korean corn dog it's very different than an American corn dog because you can get sweet potato or regular potato on the outside or you can just get the really crispy outside batter. then they have all these sauces or cinnamon sugar that you can sprinkle on your corn dog and it just makes it that much better. It's super affordable and a really great spot especially if you wanna try something different and yummy. Everything is made to order and doesn't take too long.

I went with the classic, it gave me the idea of this spot & to try just about every option on the menu. The Classic was coated & fried to perfection. Light & crispy, made for dipping (you can get up to 3 cups for sauces). As I was waiting for the order to be ready, there were numerous condiments to choose from like chili, sriracha, garlic... I went with the sriracha & the chili. I enjoyed both sauces, I like to try chili sauces by the restaurant & theirs is the way I like it. The wait didn't take long at all, especially with me having a Mochinut to hold me over. I went with cinnamon sugar, which is something I'd usually go for anywhere to let me know how good to other flavors will be. All of the flavors caught my eye & there were plenty to choose from (like mango & blueberry to name a couple). Outside of those selections I made, there's another thing they're known for, they egg toast. The Teriyaki one is the one I might have to try first. The staff was nice. As if all that wasn't enough, they also have slushes.

It always appears very clean. The food is relatively cheap when comparing to the like of Chengdu. Hot tea is served in a hot tea pot, not in a cup. YES! YES!! YES!!! I feel like the Korean food at Chopsticks lack the "Korean" flavor. If the server did not tell me the Jampong soup is Korean, I would have thought it's Chinese. The beansprouts, cucumbers, Napa cabbage, and seafood scream out Korean but the taste says something otherwise. It really does have a generic taste. The Mapo tofu has soft tofu in some sort of shredded meat sauce. It's a little salty but goes well with white rice. The white rice was a little hard on this particular visit. I guess it's going to be another 6-12 months for me to come back to try Chopsticks again. Sigh...
