Yokozuna is one of our family favorite stops. Our table server did let me know that they can downsize the bites for the Hot Mess. Which I did not know.... That could be done. I do have a small mouth, usually with a big appetite. Yes you can ask for them to make the sushi sizes smaller. Our visit today was pleasant and the food was excellent!!!

I LOVED the Tuna, Yellowtail, Salmon Chriashi! Basically the best sashimi on top of seasoned sushi rice with mango and spicy cucumbers

We have been here several times now and there is a reason why this place is so popular. The wait staff are great and very attentive to your needs. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a dining room big enough for individuals or large groups, as well as a private dining area for parties as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This time we tried the miso soup and it is absolutely amazing with fresh sliced shiitake mushrooms and green onions on top. The star of the show is the sushi, with so many options and variations to choose from. They have traditional, Oklahoma style, Sashimi and Nigiri. They are rolled right there at the station in the dining area. They're quick, accurate and very fresh with so much to love. They also have a full selection of drinks, both Asian and traditional at the full service bar. This place has stood the test of time and it'll be here for many more. Give it a try.

Yokozuna has great service and great quality sushi. The sashimi plate is wonderfully done and has great cuts of fish. I personally think this is the best sushi in town.

Great food. We orders drinks at the bar miso soup, flaming volcano, sumo fried rice, roll and gift, Tiga roll, Philadelphia roll, flaming lips, golden driller, yellowtail tuna over sushi rice. Our waitresses Rachel was amazing!

The Chef made me this work of art and I loved it. There's tuna and sea bass. Caviar, jalapeño, top it off. I really liked it there.

Well I asked for the Chef's Choice Sushi Roll. What I got was a true piece of art. Not only was it the best I have had in the states. Service was excellent friendly professional. Very good Chef and Waitstaff. It is a very open and welcoming inside with lots of natural light. Really put together well. Again it tastes better than it looks and it looks fantastic. Five stars.

Sweet potato fries and a glass of rose...life's good

Second time here this week. I enjoy the swift service and the delicious food. The Pad Thai with the tofu (squeezed in lime) was phenomenal! The sweet potato fries with the wasabi mayo and chili soy, and a nice glass of rose - was a perfect starter to wind down from life! We came back and had the Thai Green Curry, and that was oh-Kay. I wanted more or the comfort curry soup to pour over my rice, and I felt the dish wasn't fresh. They were out of the ahi, So we had the yellowtail and the chefs special roll. This place is clean, with great service and a nice hip vibe. This will be one of my go-to's;)

Pino Noir from Willamette Valley (my personal favorite) and gin & tonic (well, he's no gin snob)

We were attended to by several people, it was very nice to experience a team effort! Great job wait staff!. The food experience was terrific. We ordered the Bye-Bye Summer Sushi Special. It was an incredible explosion of delicious flavors. Next up, we found ourselves elbows deep in a "chef's special" sashimi platter that exceeded our wildest expectations. Seared tuna, salmon, octopus, albacore with a centerpiece of needle-diameter shredded carrots. All were champions in their field, although the octopus turned out to be more trouble than it was worth. By now my husband had developed a bit of a "racehorse" approach to dinner and decided to murder another round of hamachi (yellowtail) sashimi. He appeared dizzy but blissful. My compliments for a meal that will stand the test of time. You are the artists.

Exceptional Quality and Craftsmanship in Tulsa -- Mr. Nobu's Sushiya…read more We recently visited Mr. Nobu's Sushiya, and overall, the quality of the food makes this a place the Tulsa community absolutely needs to support and help grow. The Standouts Incredible Nigiri: The salmon nigiri was superior--far larger than usual and easily outshining the quality at most other sushi restaurants in town. Tempura Shrimp Roll: An absolute highlight at just $11. They added broken tempura pieces to the outside, giving it an remarkably delicious, delightful crunch. Outstanding value and flavor. Craft Cocktails & Details: The cucumber and gin drink was crisp and delicious. We also appreciated the generous portions of wasabi and house-style white ginger (which is far better quality than the dyed pink variety). Areas for Improvement Sodium Sensitivity: The zucchini appetizer was good but noticeably salty. My husband limits sodium for medical reasons, and while staff confirmed the soy sauce was low sodium, it tasted quite high in sodium to us. Extra transparency or true low-sodium options would be helpful for guests with health restrictions. Ambiance & Space: The space is quite small. During our visit, the sushi bar felt a bit claustrophobic and the dining room felt tight. A larger space would let their expert sushi chefs truly shine. Happy Hour Opportunity: We rushed over expecting Happy Hour between 4:00 and 5:00 PM, only to find out it had been discontinued. The restaurant was very quiet during that hour. Bringing back and promoting an early happy hour could be a great way to fill that dead time and draw in a crowd. Final Thoughts Between the expert sushi chefs and the remarkable food quality, this has the potential to be the single best sushi spot in Tulsa if it gets the space to expand. Perhaps Simply opening the sushi bar to the dining room would make both rooms seem larger. As a bonus for travelers, Mr. Nobu's is on the Southwest Airlines Dining Awards list (3 points per dollar with a Rapid Rewards card), which is a huge perk if you're earning toward a Companion Pass! We will definitely be back.

Speaking of flavor, I'm sure the special blended soy sauce played a major part. On top of that, there's chili sauce at the table & that right there has a Shawn Michaels super kick to it. With the bowl being full of chicken along with the other components like fish cake, seaweed, bamboo shoots, green onion & a soft boiled egg (that's also flavored)... it's not even an overload. It's flavor on top of flavor on top of flavor. I couldn't even finish it & took it to-go. Upon entering the main entrance and getting our buzzer for a 5 to 10 minute wait, I was horrified when I looked up at the ceiling lights and noticed that the tops of the light shades apparently have not been cleaned any time in the last decade. They were disgusting. I then went into the men's bathroom to wash my hands and there were paper towels all over the floor and it just had a smell that I found quite unappealing. Not the cleanest bathroom I've ever been in, that's for sure. After that shaky start we were seated at a Hibachi table and waited a few minutes for a few more people to be seated at that same table. Menus were delivered by an efficient server, drink orders were taken and delivered fairly quickly. Our hibachi chef was quite personable and had a funny attitude. When I told him that this was our first time there and that I expected him to put on quite a show he replied that this was his first day. It was a joke. He then proceeded to dazzle us with his handy work with a knife and spatula. It was quite amazing. I particularly enjoyed the onion volcano. I ordered teriyaki steak as a lunch special and it was only about $12. It was cooked perfectly medium rare as I had requested. With everything you get with that including fried rice, vegetables (mushrooms, zuchinni, onions), bean sprouts and a nice salad with an orange ginger dressing that was amazing, I'd have to say it was one of the best values in a restaurant I've had in a long time. I actually can't wait to go back because it was entertaining, the food was delicious and it's a unique experience. What absolutely needs to be improved is the cleanliness of the entranceway and the bathrooms. If I hadn't been so hungry I might've turned around and left before even experiencing the food due to the initial impression.

Once I ordered popping boba on accident (honey boba on the menu) thinking it was regular boba sweetened with honey and did not like it.
